This is the worst place I have ever had to deal with! RUN fast before thinking about stepping foot in this facility. I went here because I had a gift card. The first time was great, the second and last time was horrible. The therapist fell asleep while in the middle of my massage. Since then I have talked with an ever rotating group of employees and they get worse as it goes along. Not only do I still get to pay for a massage I never get, but I get to keep rehashing the fact that the therapist fell asleep while giving a massage. I have heard every excuse under the sun why it is ok for this to happen and the best part is the only option they can think of is I can give you a free massage. Why would anyone EVER want top go back to a place like this. Andrea is a special kind of person who gives the worst customer service of them ALL. I honestly have been a loyal customer for over 5 almost 6 years. My first year or two were a contract. I planned on canceling but did not want to lose out in the massages that I had built up in my account. Their policy was once you cancel your membership you lose out in every unused already paid for massage. This is the inky reason I stuck with them. I had finally gotten to the point of using up most of my pre pays. I was able to put my account on hold for about 6 months while I was pregnant. Then recently my card on file expired and when they called to update it I was not with my purse to do so. This was in June. I had also just moved and more important things to do than to remember to call them. I was so busy I didn't even have time to schedule a massage. Then this week I called them and left them a message stating I needed to update my card on file. They returned my call and I did not answer due to being busy. I returned their call this afternoon. It was nothing but a headache. I had to be transferred to a manager. I told them that I was not going to authorize my card to be charged for the 3 months that we played phone tag and that I did not use their service. The lady argued with me. She tried to say I could use the one saved massage on file to cover one month of service and then all I had to do was pay for the other two and then I could resume service. I said no so just cancel my service. She still insisted that I had to pay for the two months in order to cancel my account. I still told her no. I am not in contract so I can cancel at any time. She continued to argue and say that yes I am in contract. I am on a month to month contract. Which to me means if I don't pay I don't get a massage. Should be pretty simple. She threatened to send me to collections for two months of service that I did not use. She tried to compare their business to PGE. Saying that if I did not pay my PGE bill then PGE would send me to collections. Which is BS. PGE provides a service. My electricity that I use. So obviously if I used the service and did not pay then I would go to collections. I finally had to threaten to contact her corporate office. Explain that they are losing a customer after 5 years because she was insisting on billing me for a service I did not use. At the end she finally agreed to cancel me. But let's just hope that he updated card I gave them before it got nasty does not get charged. read more

Honestly have nothing bad to say about this location. I put off coming here for a while because my past ME experience in CA was just alright. I'm so mad at myself that I put it off for so long! I've been a member for a few months now and have gone to a different therapist every time just to see what each one does differently and each one has been great. At this point I just choose an appointment that works for me and trust that the experience will be perfect. The front desk staff is incredibly kind and helpful, both on the phone and in person during check-in/check-out. I've never had a problem with parking and though Keizer Station is pretty busy, I've always been able to find a spot very close by. Just had my first appointment after them opening back up from COVID and everyone was wearing masks (properly! covering nose and mouth--which can't be said for all businesses in the area). They also are doing check-in/check-out all at once, asking screening questions, using one-way travel in the hallways to avoid close contact, and taking your temperature before you go in. I felt super safe and secure about going in for my session. All in all love this location and always look forward to my next visit. read more

Last year I signed up $60 a month good for one massage a month. Had a lot of health problems so I couldn't go in as much as I wanted. When I signed up I was told that i could use the massages when i wanted. So when I called in December to see how many massages I had available they said I had 8. I told them I didnt want to renew my membership because I couldn't afford it and they assured me that I would still be able to use the 8 massages that I paid for and not lose them. In January of this year I called to make an appointment for 1 of those 8 that I had available that I paid for and they did not have any record for me. They said that terminated my membership, took me out of their system. I had management call me back and they told me the only way I could use them was to sign up again. I told them that I shouldn't have to do that I have 8 massages that were already paid for to use. Very upsetting. Not a good way to treat customers. They took $480 in massages from me! read more

I received a gift card for my birthday to have an 1 hour massage of my choice. I told the receptionist that I wanted a deep tissue massage and she suggested a therapist that would be the best for my needs. After arriving and filling out paper work I noticed when I was called back that I had a different therapist then I was told I was going I have. Not thinking much of it I continued to go with the flow. I told my therapist the main areas I wanted attention on and that I wanted deep tissue. Unfortunately she did not focus on the areas I wanted at all and even more upsetting of all she did not press hard once the entire hour. It was an extremely light massage and I was very disappointed. I told the secretary up front what had happened and she didn't care to make it better for me. I feel like my birthday gift was a waste of money. I would have appreciated if they would have shown some sort of care in the world that I was dissatisfied. I probably won't go back or recommend them to anyone. read more

This the absolute worst business to ever deal with. I have been in a contract for 6 months now and have never been able to use it due to their lack of availability. I work in a profession where my schedule varies from day to day due to my own clients and whenever I have called in to try to get in there is never any availability. When I got my membership I was reassured there was plenty of availability for same day service, yet once the dotted line was signed that seemed to change and they have collected 6 months of fees (300+) but I've never been able to use it! I recommend everyone to stay far far away from this place and the staffs lack of professionalism and blatant rudeness. If ya don't have room for new clients stop selling memberships! I have been going there for over a year now and I love this place. It is important to realize you may not get the perfect massage the first time though. You have to try different therapists and you will find the one that suits you. People say they want one type of massage and when they get it, that is not what they wanted after all. I have talked with several of them and this is the common response. I have found one I love for my issues. Although I have used several. I now know the differences in style and know what works for me, whereas when I started, I had no clue. So come, try them out a few times. You WILL find one that works for you! read more

I have had a very frustrating experience with the customer service. I have had many issues with them strong arming me into continuing my membership. I do not recommend a membership to anyone. Pay as you go because it will cost you more in the end. I have moved far enough away from them it is no longer convenient for me to be a member. I have had troubles getting them to cancel. I have been a member there for well over a year. They do not provide accurate documentation for my benefits card there for payments end up late and they will not cancel the membership if you have a late payment. I have been a member a few months today I went in for my massage I had a extra one on the books. I was told my account was suspend and that I would not be allowed to proceed. I have retired and my funds are not available in that account till the first of the month so I asked if we could change my due date. They agreed but said my account was frozen and that I would not be able to have a massage today I have paid for a massage and this is about as bad a service model as u can get. My experience with massage envy was not what I had expected. My therapist smelled of cigarettes. The receptionist had a terrible attitude and did not have my appointment on file after verifying it days before. I asked to speak to a member of management. She was 20 or so minutes over her lunch according to the receptionist who said she would be back at 1:00pm or so. She did not return until nearly 1:30pm. Finally she returned, did not manage to find my appointment on file. I than got her name. "Holly Birkett" who than finally got me in. But did not seem concerned about my nearly hour wait. I guess things at the Keizer branch are not exactly professional. I wont be going back. Not to bash the company but I felt like I was not a priority and upon reviewing other customers complaints. It would appear they we're not either. Not to mention a Massage Envy employee in a ford truck was smoking a cigarette in the parking lot with his work uniform on ( Parked directly next to me. ) As a non smoker i found the smell to be disgusting and felt like i walked out smelling like an ash tray had massaged me. I cannot believe they allow their employees to smoke. Not to mention IN THE WORK UNIFORM! go at your own risk, and expect unprofessional staff, and employees. I'll take my $49.00 else where. I would recommend the owner to reassess his management in this branch. She appears to have a " I don't give a crap attitude. So after 5 months of attempting to schedule a massage I finally let them tell me when I could come in and I cleared my schedule. The next week I got a phone call telling me that the therapist had quit and they couldn't honor my appointment. Feeling frustrated and stacked up with 13 prepaid massages I requested my money back and close the membership because they couldn't provide the services that I needed. I was told by the manager that it couldn't be done but they could close my membership and get me the massages in the future? I was at a loss in regards to this because for an entire year I wasn't able to schedule a massage. Understanding the "policy" I made a second offer to them which was to refund half of my money on the pre paids and I would suffer the loss on the rest. $637 is what I gave them for services they couldn't provide. After I cancelled the membership and ate the $637 I noticed the next day another payment came out of my bank account. I called to notify them they took more money and the receptionist told me that I should get the money back but when the manager got on the phone she told me that the money wasn't refundable and there was nothing she could do about it. My wife was a member until last year as well but she quit after struggling to get an appointment that was convenient as well. I do not think it's fair for this company to keep my money knowing that they aren't able to provide services paid for. read more

i had a massage envy membership. then my family situation changed. i have parents in their late 80s in poor health. i decided that i needed to move back to the midwest. i decided to wrap up business in oregon and perpare for a move. i stopped into massage envy in may and disccussed that things had changed and i was planning on moving. i was told 'no problem' we will cancel your membership. i left and thought, i needed something in writing dont i?, so i called massage envy in keizer 3 times and they never returned my calls/ voice messages. i still had one more massage left. so knowing that the massages were not that good at the keizer location, i went to a different location in june for a massage. i was talking with the manager there when i said that we were planning on moving back to the midwest. she asked where? i told her and she said that i will need to cancel my memebership. i told her that i did. she asked what i signed as it was not in the system. i said nothing. she then got the paperwork for me to sign and she faxed it to the keizer station massage envy location. then i called massage envy again one day and spoke with someone who said that they will want my living address when i get moved. i said i did not have a living address yet but will get it to them as soon as i have it. i explained that it might be august or september before i had my address. she said that was not a problem, just get it to them. she also said that the membersip will be cancelled. i said that the bank account would be closing that they had on file. the manager called and left me a voice message saying he needed more information reagrding my move. i sent him an email asking him what he wanted and to please corespond with me in writing from here on out, that was in june. i have not heard back from him. since all of this has happened. massage envy has continued harrassing me via telephone. they are calling my busines line and saying that they have tried to process my card-which was a debit card that is no longer active, twice now. they processed it in june, right after i cancelled my memerbership. i was told that there would be a charge in june but not july or after. i have a $60 credit on their books still, never used. because i cannot use it, if i am not in town. the contract reads that the $60 credit will be forfieted and contract closed after 30 days. so i thought it was all done for since that was the first week of june 2015. if they had just cancelled the memebership as they said and as the paperwork i signed said. then i would have lost the $60 credit and all would have been good. but since they have continued to harass me, i have now filed a complaint against them with the attorney generals consumer complaint depatment. . read more
