I had my first massage with the amazing Miss Kim a couple of days ago…read more I am so grateful she was able to fit me in her schedule. I came to see her a few days after Memorial Day, after a particularly stressful and distressing week. I also had stiffness and pain from sitting/sleeping in bad positions. Thus, I chose the 90 Minutes Massage. I'm SO glad I did. First, I appreciate the organized and succinct website. ALL important information is there, including Name, Phone, Address, Experience, Types of Massages, Pricing, and Acceptable Forms of Payment. I don't like digging around for that information, and it made booking my appoint easier. Second, Kim is a sole proprietor (as a previous reviewer mentions). I prefer small boutique spas and massages from independent masseuses. I always felt rushed the few times I attended a chain massage spa, but Kim gives you the FULL time for your massage. The room is very clean, with fresh linens, and no clutter. Kim is very warm and friendly. She obviously enjoys what she does, helping people feel better. She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Third, the massage room has wonderful ambience. I love purple, so I was thrilled to see purple lights, and purple touches everywhere. The music is also very relaxing, not too loud or too soft. I think Kim is also blessed with a soothing voice, so that helps the overall mood, too. :-) And last, the 90 Minute Massage is one of the best I've had in a long time. What I like about Kim, is that she customizes her massage using various techniques. I felt her switch techniques when she came across a particularly large knot. Most importantly, she listens to you, if you need her to go deeper or harder, or stop if you feel any pain. I woke up with a little soreness, but no pain at all. The 90 Minute Massage includes Stretching. As someone who has done physical therapy for my knee, the Stretching really helped loosen tightness all over, especially my Achilles heels, hips, and IT band. I also want to mention that I have very sensitive skin, and I did not have any adverse reaction to the massage oil used. I almost cried in relief, when my massage was over. While it takes more than one session to get rid of all the knots, I feel normal again. I can't thank Kim enough. I highly recommend the 90 Minutes Massage for the Stretching alone.

Spavia Day Spa - This is the retreat room or waiting area prior to the therapist coming to get you. Great decoration, ambience and music.

My husband gifted me a Spavia Day Spa massage for Mother's Day earlier this year and I decided now…read morewas finally the time to use it! Please don't let the online scheduling portal detour you from enjoying the luxury and superior customer service Spavia has to offer. I wouldn't even bother trying to book an appointment online if you're a first time guest - just call! Per other Yelpers, I booked with John because I enjoy deep tissue and apparently he is great (spoiler alert: HE IS THE BEST!!). Heads up though that he is booked weeks in advance, and yes, he is worth the wait! Upon arrival you are greeted with a warm neck pillow while you fill out a simple new guest form. Standard questions like "where is your pain generally located" etc. As an avid massage receiver, I've never been asked "what music do you prefer during your massage" or "what scent would you like?" The customization they offer is top notch and I appreciated the options. Once your form has been completed, you're taken back to the immaculate locker room and provided with a robe and sandals. This robe...WOW. It was probably the most lush piece of clothing I've ever placed upon my body. I wish they sold them at the spa because I would've purchased immediately with zero buyers remorse. You are shown a locker to place your belongings in with a lock, so you don't have to worry about leaving your purse/jewelry while you enjoy your chosen service(s). There is also a restroom and shower. Once changed, you migrate to the waiting area where water and tea is provided if you'd like. Okay, now to the best part, the massage... FIVE STARS. John was extremely professional, listened to my areas of concern and the 60 minutes felt like two hours. He was very meticulous and the pressure was exactly what I wanted, firm and deep. If you like firm, book with John. I can't rave enough about him!! Overall experience exceeded my expectations and upon check out I booked another massage with John and a facial. Thank you Spavia for allowing me to relax for once since having my baby 4 months ago!

The only thing that was a bit of a let down was the boxes and new counter still in packaging in the front lobby. However, the warm neck towel upon check-in made me forget all that.

Where is Lisa?! The rude short hair lady in the front needs to be replaced. She has zero customer…read moreservice. She ALWAYS has this face of judgement and hate. Also, ever since this place won the yell award they have done worse to obtain that award. I've been going here for years, they increased their price to spa level yet the service declined, the place is filthy, they use these blankets that barely cover and are more for pets then people especially for bare skin. Worst, they skimp on massages now. I told the girl to make to do deep tissue, hit my back right above my butt where it caves in, get my left arm and hand due to my shoulder having a pinch nerve. She purposely did my right arm and skippeymy back. She only did deep on my feet and this has continued to happen by these massage people since they raised the pricing. I will be finding a new place and looking for Lisa although I think she is still there but that lady denies she is every single time but then i typically see her in the back. I despise the front lady. Clif needs to fix what he broke.

The foot massage was inty but then they switch you to another room where you disrobe and get on a legit massage table. These ladies get on your back and just go to town if you can handle it. Lol, we got the punch card!
