I am no expert on what a massage should be like. But, my experience here was great. Making an appt was easy (was able to get in 3 hours after I called) and the front desk person was polite. She stayed calm when an obnoxious customer was talking rudely, slamming her enormous keychain on the counter. My husband and I were both quickly taken to a room with 2 beds, and given a couple of minutes to undress. Two women came in and asked if we preferred medium or hard. I asked for medium. She asked if the pressure was ok and in the beginning it was fine so I said yes, but it did get harder and she didn't ask about the pressure as it went on so i didn't speak up about it being too hard. I figured she knows what's best for me. Overall, I enjoyed the massage, she worked out a bunch of knots and I felt like she really cared about doing a thorough job. She stretched me around like no one has done before. My husband said his massage was pretty hard a lot of the time, too and he had asked for medium pressure. But he enjoyed it. We got hot stones which were amazing. At the end, i felt like i lost a boxing match but in a good way. Still sore 2 days later. These massage therapists were strong! I wish we got their names. We got the full 90 minutes and walked out happy - after getting some water and giving them cash tips (we tipped about 25%). Always tip and tip well! read more

My sister and I were looking for massages that wouldnt break the bank yet was still good quality. Found this place through yelp and was a steal! We did a walk in and we payed before going in ($2 extra if you pay by card fyi). They took us within 5 minutes. We did the special and the hot stone massage that was offered when you checked in. They offered us the room they use for couples so we could be together which was great because it was my sisters first time ever getting a massage and I could help her if she was unsure or felt uncomfortable. We had 2 people come in and I believe Carol did my sisters and Frank did mine. The first thing Frank asked was if I wanted soft or hard pressure and I said hard because I had so many knots in my back. As an athlete I know how it feels to get the knots out so the tension was not out of the ordinary. If thats not your cup of tea then id say do softer. The ambiance was nice. He started on my shoulders and back and worked on each side equslly then went to my neck where I had so many knotts!!! He was good at asking if I was doing ok. After doing the backside of my body he transitioned to my legs. After was the hot stone massage which was AMAZING , definitely recommend . I turned over and he did a temple and forhead massage that almost put me to sleep. Then came the arm and hand masssage which believe me by this point I was like jello because I was so relaxed. The last 30 minutes consisted of a foot massage which was great because Im usually ticklish but not with this. My sister was so relaxed that she ended up falling asleep!!! After the session they let us know we were at the end and left so we could change. When we left they were outside waitinf for us with water. Great customer service. I will note that I get frequent massages so I know what to look for and am verbal if I dont like or want something different. My husband used this place for emergency massage. So let's call! Called at 8:45am. not expecting anybody to pick up because this place opens at 10:00am. But one lady picked up my phone. I don't know what she was exactly saying but I said 'today 10:00am one person' She said 'ok' My masseuse is Lisa. She asked 'strong or medium?' I don't want very strong massage. I may get more headache. So I said 'between medium and strong' In the end, my headache is gone. And I recognized my arm and legs are tired as well!! Now I feel like I am reborn!!! Visited Massage Circle for the first time tonight and my boyfriend & I loved our experience here! As soon as we walked in, the receptionist greeted us and was very welcoming. My boyfriend & I got a couples massage, so we were placed in the same room with our therapists Mike & Coco. Coco was extremely caring and knew just the right amount of pressure to use. My boyfriend also loved his massage with Mike. Great price & service! We will definitely be back! One thing I would suggest is more comfortable pillows for when you're laying face down. I have had two full body deep tissue massages there for some lower back nerve pain from running. I felt better after visiting them. The lady really worked me over and got more spots than I first thought I had. It was painful but I know the nerves need to get out but after time my back felt good again to get back running which was the goal! Worth the time and money. read more

I feel amazing!!! I had the 60 minute combo for $35, with Jack and I can honestly say it was perfect. He was firm but controlled, totally even-handed (not stronger with left/right), and worked out all my tension. He was very conscientious of my privacy and I felt 100% comfortable at all times. The rooms are all clean and stylish and I was surprised at how large the facility is. They even have a couples massage room. My boyfriend and I came in for a relaxing massage but my experience definitely wasn't relaxing.When I came in the lady was nice and explained everything. The problem I had was the way the staff was to me when I entered.. I paid an extra $5 for an "herbal foot spa" but they literally just put my feet in a bucket of hot water with a tea bag in it.. they barely rubbed my feet. The massage was going well until they left the room and told me to undress. All of a sudden my masseuse came in giggling and had a random male masseuse with her (who hadn't massaged my boyfriend earlier) and made me feel very uncomfortable. I was undoing my bra when The masseuse I had just yanked it off me. The whole rest of the experience felt very aggressive and she kept yanking at my underwear and didn't seem to want to be there :( When the massage was over she quickly said she was done and left the room very fast. When we went back out to the waiting room the 2 masseuses were in the lobby waiting just wanting us to tip them. They were very obvious about it because they were hovering.. They had us strip completed naked for the combo massage and placed a large sheet over us for the remainder of the session. I got Mary and asked for medium pressure on a scale of light to firm. This was definitely much needed since I've been so congested. She knew to focus on a knott on my left shoulder and my sinuses have cleared up. I had a wonderful experience with my massage this morning. The lobby area is beautifully decorated and clean. The room I was in was also clean. The only drawback is the lighting was a little too bright for my liking. My masseuse did a wonderful job in adjusting the pressure so that I can enjoy my massage. I had the 80 min special for $45. Just had a 90-minute full body massage with Frank, which was splendid. With 90 minutes, a hot stone massage was included, which I really liked. It's the first time I've had a hot stone massage as part of the full body massage, and it was really soothing and comforting. After looking up a few massage places this was the most decent one I found (base on the reviews). The place is very clean and welcoming, but the massage service was the worse. The manager and receptionist apologized for the poor service but I don't recommend. They did told me to come again for a better service , but I'll pass. The thing that struck me most was the fact that the receptionist told me that I had to tip $10, and when I said I am only tipping the masseuse $4 because that's as much as you deserve (didn't deserve that at all, but I felt bad not tipping) then the manager was called. I had never been here and made an appt same day. I asked for someone with strong hands. I got the 80 minute massage that was supposed to be 50 on body and 30 on feet. Well the first 30 min of being "massaged" was over the blanket. I was about to tell him to stop bc there's not much you can do over the blanket and I didn't know if the whole massage was like this. Once he moved the blanket and actually massaged me, it was okay..mediocre. And then the 30 min of foot massage was about 5-7 min each foot. Won't be coming back here. read more

My husband told me I had to get a massage since I had been crippled for the last two weeks with a pulled muscle in my back. Massage circle is really near my house and I gave it a try. This Chinese massage was very healing. I told my massage therapist where it hurt and she worked on it for a very long time. I had the hour long massage for $40 which is really a deal. It was very complete very soothing the ambience was very soothing and clean nice music very relaxing. I work in Irvine and have been to other Asian massage and this did not disappoint.
