When I met Patricia I was not sure about the energy but the more we talked I wanted to work with her. She is extremely chatty and a little to personal. My body was beaten up from a lot of home improvement work and after 2 weeks of that I desperately needed some massage. I got a 90 minute session from Patricia for a very reasonable $105 as a first time client. Her massage skills were very strong, generally I would rate her very highly as a massage therapist with a general sports massage / deep tissue approach. She has a smart, gentle touch but can go deep -- as needed. I would definitely return and see her again, part of her work that is good is: she is a nice, practical, caring person who wants to give a good massage without too much new-age mumbo jumbo. I started seeing Patricia when I was pregnant. She is well educated and has a wonderful energy. Her 90 minute sideline pregnancy massage that included the warm wood took care of all my healing needs. I saw Patricia recently as I was complaining of some hip joint pain and she did a fabulous job of isolating where it was originating from and with her skillful hands was able to massage out my aches and pains. I felt refreshed and renewed by the end of the session. The aromatherapy she used was awesome, too. Patricia is incredible. We found her on yelp and had her come to our vacation rental home today for four 90-min massages. We get monthly massages in our home in SF so believe we have a high standard. Patricia provides great individualized massage - cares deeply about what each person wants and tailors her approach to deep tissue, stretching-heavy, or spa-like massages depending on what is desired. She also brings a lot of extra touches that recreated a spa feel in our home - aroma therapy, candles, spa water. I have been seeing Patricia for massage for several years now. I generally choose to have a 90 minute massage and always come away feeling like the tension in my body has melted away. I bruise easily and have had previous issues with this from massage therapists - but never with Patricia. She has tremendous knowledge of the body and skillfully applies various massage techniques to improve range of movement and release tension.
