I purchased a massage for a 21st birthday present for my daughter. Both her and I had massages before and enjoyed them and I had referred numerous people to Jaiyen Spa. The night before her appointment my daughter told me her nose was starting to run and she thought she had allergies. The day of her appointment, it progressed very quickly to a full blown cold and her nose was really runny. She was concerned about being in a headrest and also about getting the massage therapist sick. I called to see if we could reschedule and was told it was not possible but my daughter could still come in and wear a mask on the table! I explained how terribly uncomfortable that would be and was told there are no ability to reschedule. My daughter was very much looking forward to the massage and since I live out of the area it was an important gift to help her release some of her tension. I asked to speak to the owner and gave my details and was told the owner would call me back. I never heard back and called again on May 13th, 7 days later, and asked again to speak to the owner to try to find a fair resolution for the situation. I was told the owner would call me back but have not heard back from her today. The impression that I get is that they do not care about my business. And if they don't care about my business, they don't care about your business. You may want to rethink using their services if you think you may ever be sick or have an emergency and have to miss your appointment. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of care of the owner of Jaiyen Spa. If I could give no stars, I would. read more

The receptionist was really nice, very professional and helped me decide which type of service I needed. The massage therapist was really good (gan "sp?") i shared my trouble spots and didn't have to say another word the whole hour, she knew exactly where the work needed to be and boy oh boy did she get the job done. her soft but strong af hands were magical!! I walked in tense and knotted up, but walked out relaxed and loose. The vibe was instantly calming and comfortable and the tables are nice and clean. No residual smell from all the other people who came before me lol. My favorite part was the face and scalp massage, something about it just made me feel like a whole new person. Didn't realize how tight my fascia was. I highly recommend this place. read more

Best massage in years! The customer service was stellar. The vibes as you enter the lively outdoor patio, the lobby, even the bathroom was so enchanting. Everything's so clean as well. Kan was so strong and able to stretch sore muscles that had been bothering me for over a year...they seemed to melt away! The following morning I woke up in less pain than usual...far less! I recommend to anyone in need of a therapeutic relaxation experience that was so healing as well:) read more

Deeply relaxing. I have had two massages at Jayden. Both excellent. The therapists were attuned to my needs and careful about some old injuries. read more

Five stars plus. I experienced a 90 minute Jaiyen Blend massage at the hands of the remarkable Jeab this afternoon. To say it was exquisite is putting it mildly. And not just Jeab's skill, the whole presentation was impeccable, very healing. Highly recommended, I'll be back for sure. read more

My friend, Ken Silveira, recommended Jaiyen Spa for my recovery from a back and shoulder injury. I dropped in to Jaiyen Spa and met Kenzie, who booked me for an afternoon appointment. I requested a deep tissue massage and specifically wanted a firm and strong touch. Kenzie immediately recommended Jeab. I returned and entered a quiet and comfortable setting. As I was lying face down, I felt a pinch in my shoulder. I began to wonder if I would continue to maintain my position, and without a word, Jeab began the assessment and touched the exact spot on my body. That was the beginning of an excellent massage. I booked my second massage for the following week and plan to include Jaiyen Spa and Jeab in my health and wellness toolbox. read more

I have been a massage therapist for 30 years. I was absolutely exhausted after a weekend of dancing, and my feet were sore. I went to Yelp to find a place, and I was so glad to find Jaiyen Spa. As per usual, I didn't choose the therapist; she chose me as a matter of speaking. Sunny was the perfect therapist for me: deep without being intrusive, sensitive enough that I felt comfortable crying. She was spritely and wonderful, and at the end, I asked her to do a pin and stretch on my pecs. She knew exactly what I meant. That was quite simply the best. Now our Massage I have ever gotten in a spa. The receptionist was calm and kind and gave me a lovely fruit bowl. Thank you, ladies. read more

Such a wonderful experience! My husband and I got massages for the first time and they made us feel comfortable and serene. Thank you!!

Every time I've gone I've had an amazing massage. It be been going over 10 years. Every massage therapist brings something unique to the experience. Jah, and Gan most recently were amazing. True healers, and I can't wait to go back! Also highly skilled with prenatal and postpartum! read more

I have had several enjoyable massages with Jaiyen. I've tried the Thai floor, Swedish and Jaiyen (which is a blend of the two). When I was very muscular the thai floor massage was awesome (and you keep your clothes on!). Swedish was ok but not for people who are more muscular. I'm less muscular now and the Jaiyen is the perfect balance. Always on time, always get my full time, clean, pretty quiet. read more

Fantastic service and wonderful massages. This is one of my go to places in Sonoma County hands down

The Jaiyen Spa Siam package was amazing. It was 2 hours of total bliss, Thai massage and stretching, facial massage, feet soak. Jeab did a fantastic job, worked out all my knots and stress. read more

I just went to the spa for the first time I didn't even know it was here but I had a free 15 minute massage by Greg that was just wonderful but I understand that all the therapists are actually very good here. I did not know that we even had this Spa it's always fun when I learn new things about a town that I've lived in for 32 years pretty crazy. So I would recommend the services that they have here beside the massage they also do facials as well and reflexology. read more

As soon as you walk in, you'll be immediately welcomed by a warm and comforting environment. A quick assessment helps the practitioner treating you know what to focus in on. Treatments are all done with competency, care, and depth of body knowledge. Afterwards, you'll find a small bowl of fruit to replenish and make you feel even better than you were already feeling. You'll leave in a state of zen. Thanks to Ja and her team. Truly an oasis. read more

I had the most amazing massage today from Alek (woman). Perfect amount of pressure and touch. My massage was a combo massage which included Thai massage. I lost track of time. I was massaged by her hands, feet and elbows. I really like the new location: cozy, comfortable, plenty of parking. I'm looking forward to my next massage!! Kelsey at the front desk was very kind, helpful and knowledgable. read more

This place is great! Don't hesitate...go for it! My best friends & I were celebrating a big birthday. I found this place on Yelp:) All three of us really enjoyed our massages! Think about that; all three of us; three different masseurs, three of us and two of us have massages often and are picky! AND WE ALL THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR MASSAGES! Yep, yep so happy to start our celebration weekend off at Jaiyen! I'm forgetting the receptionist name, she was just as important (if not more so) as the masseurs! She, too, was/is amazing! read more

Jaiyen is a hidden lovely facility. I lived in Thailand for a number of years and this was as good as any deep tissue and non-tourist Thai message in Thailand or anywhere, actually. Dan, the masseuse who worked on me was trained in Thailand and was possibly the strongest small woman I've ever met. She's wonderful. I don't get massaged often and usually don't want to bother but I certainly will continue to treat myself often. read more

Wonderful experience. Jan is intuitive and professional therapist. Reception and service are outstanding. Tranquil atmosphere.

Just had my first, most amazing, massage here this morning! Jaeb completely understood my needs and got into areas no one has ever worked so thoroughly! After a week of back pain and spasms, plus my stress areas, I left feeling so relaxed and so loosened up! She was welcoming and caring, checked in throughout without being overly chatty. The whole experience was great and I'll be booking my next appointment soon! I've found my new spot...yay! read more

Booked a full body massage/facial plus a couple of add ons for a complete package. I woke up the day of my appointment and had broke out in hives (due to an allergic reaction). I went to the office at 9 am when they opened (even though my appointment wasn't till 4pm) to explain my situation and was told they don't do refunds. I asked if it was possible to move my appointment due to my medical situation. They said they can't without permission from the owner. I was told the owner would contact me and they never did. I tried calling but never received a returned phone call. So I spent over $200 and they would not budge even though I had a medical emergency. They never rebooked, refunded or even called. I guess I'm just out the money. Honestly if I could give that experience no stars I would it was truly terrible customer service. Probably the worst I have ever experienced. read more

Navigating a breakup I sought healing by way of a retreat. That didn't go quite as planned and by way of universal powers, I was brought to Jaiyen Spa and the healing hands of therapist Jeab. I receive monthly traditional massages in SF, however never experienced anything like this before. I did not expect to be transported into another space, but it happened. Jaiyen Spa along with Jeab have become my bi-monthly healing ritual. Next sessions are in the books. Thank you Jeab. read more

Love coming here! The massages are super great and everyone is so nice. I feel very calm and serene after coming here.

I requested a deep tissue massage. Viva my masseur was really good - she was communicative and explained my different challenges and needs as she massaged. She did such a great job and of course I would need some more follow-up massages because of the tension in my muscles. The atmosphere in Jaiyan is so serene and just love the place and seduces provided. I would highly recommend Jaiyan; it was well worth the trip from Santa Rosa; Wish Jaiyan was based in Santa Rosa too. The tea after massage was good too and the two ladies at the front desk were very helpful in guiding me to find a spot to eat that was vegetarian and very nearby. read more

My first Thai massage did not disappoint. I felt relaxed just opening the front door. Just now booked my second appointment.

Excellent deep massage in a tranquil environment. I have come here from time to time over the years. Worth the trip to Sebastopol!

I got 2 bruises and some areas that hurt to touch the next day (for what was supposed to be a Swedish massage). For the most part, pressure was fine, and actually felt really good in some areas, but this was the least enjoyable massage I've ever gotten. The worst part was when a hot towel was being used to turn my head onto one side. It was done in one brisk motion and happened so fast that I was left in shock and fear for the safety of my neck. Another thing, a hot towel was used to wipe oil off my face but it felt rough and abrasive. I was also put off when my masseuse raised the blanket covering me to reposition the blanket, exposing my chest briefly. Didn't want to spoil my time there since I came here to get a couple's massage for my boyfriend's birthday, but now I wish I had spoken up at the time. Massage room was cold but the tables are heated. Not sure how I feel about that. I liked the scent of the oil they used, and the tea they served was good. Shop interior is cute, atmosphere is relaxing. My bf didn't have any complaints about his massage. I also heard his masseuse check in on him a few times, whereas mine didn't ask me anything after the initial pressure confirmation. Update: One of the bruises, on the side of my foot, is way bigger now @ 3 days later. Luckily it's not where I put my weight, but still hurts when walking. :(((( read more

Some of the best massages I've had! The atmosphere is soothing and the staff kind and friendly. They offer discounts too!

Hi again! I wanted to post an update~ I just had my 2nd massage with Ian, and again it was SO GOOD! I walked in with so much pain and tension, and walk out feeling 10 pounds lighter. Ian was responsive to my requests and did an excellent job of finding the perfect pressure (I like deep & slow massage, with a focus on trigger points) and focusing on the areas of the body where I had pain and tension. Ian is highly intuitive with his touch and I felt like he was really listening to my body. I've had a lot of excellent massage in my life (I worked for a Chiropractor for 13 year and got free weekly massage & adjustments) and I've struggled since moving to Sebastopol to find someone who could compare~ Well, Ian is simply the best! I'm so glad to have an awesome bodyworker right in my little town. I recommend Ian & Jaiyen Spa highly! read more

I asked for a 1 hour deep tissue massage, and received on of the best massages I've ever had. The masseuse, Kan Jaiyen, was very skilled professional, and strong. I'm going to treat myself to a massage more frequently now. It was wonderful! Thank you, Kan! read more

Ok, I am going to start with Greg is AMAZING! Everyone so far including Sophie at the desk are absolute dolls! I feel so welcomed and honored here, namaste is shining through! Their colorful tea is fun and I just feel so grateful that I was recommended this place... I would recommend getting there a little early and settling in with some water, then after, taking some time to relax with some delicious tea. Sophie is the best. After being a bit jaded to try this spa (I'm not sure why, maybe because I have an amazing neuromuscular therapist and have had so many good, bad and phenomenal massages?) I just feel so blessed I did try it out and take the EXCELLENT recommendation! I am beyond impressed and grateful! There are definitely some serious healers in our community working here right now! Ruthie, Greg, Max...to name a few...Thank you everyone at Jaiyen spa! I am dealing with a back injury and both Greg and Max came highly recommended for sports injury's and especially Greg for back injury's. Seriously blown away at how healing my body work has been. Literally helping the sciatica I am dealing with, I am able to walk without pain after having work done here! Thank you! I will definitely be coming back and I feel sooo thankful! If you are dealing with an injury or are an active person like me, this is beyond worth it! I think you are worth it just if you feel like it, this is beyond a treat! They have fun upgrades like body scrubs and all kinds of deliciousness! You are worth it! Much gratitude, kindness and love read more

This is a great little day spa! I've tried 3 different therapists who have all been very good! They offer a variety of massage types! They also have add Ons that are great.
