I was given a birthday gift certificate from a friend who wanted me to feel "pampered" with a deep tissue massage. That said..."pampering" might not be the best word! There were no dim lights, smooth spa sounds, lavender scented diffusers or spa robes. (Haha). The location is in an old strip of commercial buildings which I'm pretty sure are from the Los Robles Lodge days. (Only long term Santa Rosans can relate!) I liken her unto going to the doctor vs. going to a spa. Keep that in mind. Therapeutic is accurate. Very accurate! Beth is definitely good at what she does! She seamlessly responded to my body's tension and release, expertly knowing what needed to be done. She is chatty, and I had to adjust to that, but I know she'd respect silence if that's what you wanted. (I was chatty in return.) I would have given this business more than five stars if I could have & here is why. For over 8 years I had chronic pain in one of my hips. I had been to the doctor(s), to a physical therapist & to another massage therapist. One day when I went to see Beth for a massage, I asked her to please focus on the hip that was hurting. The next day it was quite painful but the day after that the pain was remarkably decreased. It felt better than it had in 8 years. That was over 6 months ago and it has continued to improve ever since. Truly, I no longer have hip pain. Here is another example. I referred a friend of mine to Beth, who has been struggling with chronic low back pain for years. Besides OTC medication, in order to control the pain he used one dose of a narcotic medication daily. Beth was able to teach his wife how to do KT taping for his back for pain relief. After several weeks of consistent taping, my friend no longer requires a narcotic to control his pain. His back pain is not gone but it is markedly decreased. We are both extremely grateful to have found Beth. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. It would be true to say that she has greatly improved the quality of our lives. Beth is amazing. I moved from Sacramento to Santa Rosa and was afraid I would never find anyone like the two that I had in Sacramento. I've had back issues for a while as well as a few other issues. The massages at a day spa or a massage envy atmosphere do not always help when you've got certain health issues. I've gone before and it's not the same. Her touch is amazing and my back is ready for her to work on. She does more of holistic approach. I love it. She knows how to work the parts of your body that do not always want to move. She has notes on you which is amazing and of course for certain things going on with your health great recommendations. I would definitely recommend her to anyone besides she's got a boob pillow that actually makes its so much more comfortable for us with bigger boobs to lay on the table. read more

Please try this woman!!! I originally went to this lady because it was on Groupon, but I have been a few times since. She always remembers my health history and problems areas. Massage is amazing! And has a pillow for us bustier girls:) . On one of my visits, I wanted to purchase a pair of earrings but she didn't have the exact change. She said " you can just catch me later". Who does that anymore?? I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this review because of her continued kindness toward a stranger. This gal doesn't mess around. She is amazing! I came in to see her for help after going into the urgent care with the unbearable spasms I was having throughout my whole arm and shoulder that my Dr was saying "Frozen Shoulder" and being also told to have "Cervical Dystonia" along with several bulging disc in my neck. She began to gently evaluate me, then proceeded with treatment. By the second treatment with her, I was able to extend my arm fully without spasm- but not able to reach the top of my head yet. I have some relief in my neck until I get the surgery needed. And also have had sciatic pain for years, and is almost completely gone!
