Sophie got back to me within minutes via text message. I wanted a deep tissue massage with cupping, and I was able to come in the following morning to see her colleague, Jeff. Based on the reviews I read on Google and Yelp, I believe Jeff provides the firmest pressure between the two of them. Parking wasn't an issue at 9am but make sure to still arrive 5-10 minutes early to use the restroom if you need to and to get on the massage table. I couldn't have been happier with my massage with Jeff! Cupping is never not uncomfortable but it was much needed for the tension I had in my back, especially my low back from a past sports injury. He uses the plastic ones with the hand pump. Jeff also included some heat therapy and a gentle sinus massage. I left feeling refreshed and more relaxed. I definitely plan on coming back the next time I'm in town. They accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, card and cash. A $50 deposit is required to hold your appointment time and it goes towards your total for the massage. As with any service you receive, be kind and tip :)

She incorporates sound therapy with massage and has mastered skill sets in several other modalities including shiatsu, pregnancy massage, cupping, and energy work. She uses smooth, heated jade stones for targeted heating. Jade stones are known to be imbued with healing properties. Her space is safe and has a feeling of sacredness about it. She is highly intuitive, and understands the body in multi-dimensional ways, unlike anyone I have ever been to. She is thoughtful, warm, safe, and extremely attentive.. My first session was a gift from a family member that lasted 90 minutes and ended with a half hour or so of sound therapy using gongs and Singing bowls. I left feeling positively altered at levels I can scarcely describe. I wanted to go back, and discovered that she was booked out 6 to 8 weeks in advance. Given the quality of her work, this is completely understandable. It's such a pleasure to recommend such a quality individual as Leanne! Be patient, your first session might take about six weeks before you can get in, but it's well worth it!

I call it a transition because I feel as if I have risen to a higher level. Griselda has a gift of finding all the pinch points and works on them in a very healing way. Stacy is an approved Kaiser Permanente massage therapist, and I chose her because she can do deep tissue massage, which many CMT's won't do, but which I prefer. She told me she was going to take it easy on my first session, and she was right to do so. I'm now in my third week of working out kinks that were years in the making, and I am so pleased. Stacy has such a good instinct for where my problem areas are. She finds them all. I've gone from having a great deal of difficulty sleeping due to hip and other pain to increasingly long stretches of less pain/pain-free nights between massages. It's such a blessing to feel the old pains receding. Stacy has wonderful energy, and the atmosphere she sets is very relaxing; the music Stacy uses is beautiful, the lighting soft, the covers comfy, and the lotions she uses leave my skin soft as a baby's bottom. I'm 69 years old and have chronic health conditions. Massage is an essential part of my overall health strategy. Her "cottage" is very warm and welcoming; an abundance of flowers, a beautiful mural and a fully realized garden space if one prefers an outdoor experience. She is well versed in many methods of massage, her hands are something beyond lovely. Aromatherapy, beautiful music? As you like, of course! Obviously I highly recommend. We use mostly (I think) the Hendricksen method. She works through my clothes with a rolling technique that is wonderful. There is a fine place to change if you want, but this is what works for me.
