Dr. Rees was very helpful in trying to help us find a diagnosis. Unfortunately, we didn't find one until Macy began having seizures, at which point she needed specialized care at MSU. (She turned out to have a very rare and difficult-to-diagnose disease called GME.) We ended up working with a neurologist in Boston, and Dr. Rees was always very willing to work with him and with our vet at MSU to make Macy's treatment as convenient for us as possible.

She loves all animals and has helped exotic too. I think she is well educated and dedicated to her patients. She is the only vet and extremely busy but will take on emergency. Tech came out took her in back, Came into waiting room and said she was quite ill with very low platelets. I got copies of the blood work. Gave her meds said come back 3 days. Repeat of visit and tolsd her platelets are now 40 and she could die...recommend ultrasound and recheck again. I left called a rescue to surrender her (I just became a widow and was so upset, etc.). Rescue asked me to fax over her blood reports and said get her to Oakland Veterinary Referral Services (OVRS) in Bloomfield Hills immediately. I drove there from Eaton Rapids crying all the way. They took her in immediately and ended up keeping her overnight. Checked her blood 3 times with normal results and did a manual reading as well. Kleo was fine and had to be weaned off the steroids Willoughby gave her. This was a very expensive visit but I knew she would be okay and to get a new vet. I called Willoughby right away, told them, and was told to call back when I wanted my next appt. No apology, nothing. Obviously they need new equipment and/or training on how to use it. And to deliver this information in the waiting room is unconscionable. Stay away!

We called Trusted Journey who is in charge of the ashes & they said the last name was provided on the bottom of the ashes box... so all Teresa has to do was look at the last name on the bottom of the box. Instead she didn't & created even more grief for my family & I. When called they hung up the phone & completely switched the story around trying to blame the cremation company. TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY. Foul. This practice should be shut down.

But my most recent visit was horrible! One of the Petcare employees was terribly rude and disrespectful. I won't get into all the details, but it was the worst I have EVER been treated as a customer! (I am over 50, BTW) I also heard her arguing with another customer and things got pretty heated. Terrible customer service skills and should not be doing that job. I will not be returning to this vet clinic.
