The person on the phone stated that he could not check because his system was down. my wife called several hours later, and he was rude to her. He told her that he had already spoken to me and that his system was still down. I rented a car in Astoria and went searching for my truck. It was on their lot not 100 feet from the office door. It amazed me that he did not even attempt to look for it. My insurance company moved the truck to a dealership for repairs. They even had the nerve to charge us storage fees even though he didn't know the truck was there. Bad service.

When I picked my car up (much later than I was told I could) I paid part cash and part credit card as they're charging 3% on credit card now. About seven dollars of that was in change and when I put it on the counter he says "I can't take that"! I'll have to go ask somebody if I can take it. Of course they can, they have to, it's US currency. So I get my receipt and the paperwork and I walk out the door and say thank you. He has not one word to say. As a customer. I think he should've said thank you or at least you're welcome. Also, the paint was not the exact shade, but I'll probably be the only one that notices that so I didn't say anything about it. There's other options in town.

All I can say is wow! I really picked the right shop!…read more I was recently on a vacation with 11 of my female family members. We were having an amazing trip then my transmission went out in my Chevy Tahoe. We called AAA to tow us to the nearest auto repair shop. Doc's had the best reviews (now I know why) so I chose them. They were closed that day so I called them the next business day to let them know my vehicle was there and my dilemma. As a single woman traveling I was nervous I was going to be taken advantage of by a shady repair man 200 miles away from home. To my pleasant surprise the shop is run by women! Cheryl the front desk person and Samantha the mechanic really took care of me. They made me understand what was happening with my vehicle and treated me more than fair. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. If I could give them more stars I would because they really went above and beyond!! Thank you for your amazing customer service!
