In the Food and Beverage, I went this way: for drinks I got the Guava Ginger Martini and followed it up with a Carajillo. Both were delicious. For a bite, I settled on the ceviche. My only note of improvement was the chips. Chips were stale. Like the bag was left open stale, I didn't want to bother the staff because they were so busy to ask for fresh ones. It made the dish dull and took away from the overall bite which is a shame. The atmosphere was colorful and lively. The wait staff was a well oiled machine of efficiency. Winston was incredibly kind and knowledgeable while covering quite a few tables all at once. Definitely enjoy this place if you are in the neighborhood.

And I could tell that they had just poached the egg and they were keeping it in warm water because it was really firm. Texture wise the bread was tasty. I wasn't a fan of the egg or sauce. The ambience it seems like there's a lot of seating once you walk in. It was pretty empty when I got there, but by the time I received my food, it filled up pretty quickly. And there's even an area for families to dine in the back area where the coffee shop normally is. I wasn't that impressed but I'm gonna try and come through one of these days for the coffee and see if I have a better experience.

Banker Hill is my favorite location as they always have a nice laid back crowd and overall great ambiance. A perfect stop when visiting Balboa Park.

I also love that you get fries with your meal... I know that sounds crazy but the majority of the restaurants in the area are expensive for what you get. Which most of the time is just the entree alone without any sides. This place lets you pick between a salad or fries. Both solid options and they give you generous portions. What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly thoughtful and made sure to put the hot honey on the side (and plenty of it!) so the tenders wouldn't get soggy. That extra attention to detail made the meal even better. Not to mention how warm and inviting the location is as well. It is in the heart of South Park, which alone is already such a cute little part of SD.
