Overall it's what I would call a decent park. Unlike the last review someone left, I see where the county has put a lot of work into maintenance. In fact, today two workers are here shaping the shrubbery. You can see where some tagging has occurred, but the county has gone to efforts to clean this or at least cover it up. The park has a water play feature on hot days. It has a well lit baseball field. The park rules state golf, horses, as well as horseshoes are legal as long as they are in designated areas only. The park signs are contradictory on the consumption of alcohol as one part of the sign says absolutely no alcohol in the park and under the rules it states that alcohol is permitted in the picnic areas. There are usually several transient type persons in the park at any one time, but they are unusually very polite. Two very good, new, covered playground structures. Restrooms! Park hours 7am to 11pm. Dogs and cats on leash and spay/neutered. No excessive or loud music. (I personally think your music at a "public" park is obnoxious!) no fireworks or martial arts weapons allowed! read more
