Stopped here sponstaneoulsy with my lovely grown up daughter, after dropping off the other half to the downtown casino. She mentioned a social media post about Symphony Park and yay, I get to be the very first to take a photo with her (not with her BF & her friends. (This means alot to me., hehe.) Located in Downtown Las Vegas, we first drove around looking for parking, as they had an event coming up that evening, we discovered the public parking nearby and luckily it was a Sunday, the gates were up, super yay for free parking! I love this cute small park, first was colorful rocks now its colorful tubes! I just love the beautiful colors, so colorful and trying to take all kine photo opts with my daughter. The other half was missing out! We took a stroll around the park and loved observing the beautiful plants, there are a few florals ones, trendy lights and statue. Very nice spot to hang out longer but, we needed to head off to go do some shopping! Symphony Park is a 61-acre site located in downtown Las Vegas. Once housing a Union Pacific rail yard. Symphony Park is home to the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, Smith Center for the Performing Arts and the Discovery Children's Museum. Lots of new development coming up for Symphony Park, Marriott Convention hotels, luxury condos, new shops, restaurants, I can't wait to see what's in store for Symphony Park. Don't forget to walk over, across from Symphony Park to check out The Smith Center.

Waiting for wedding photo shoot in the hot day....

Nice small park. I and my dogs enjoyed the park. It was just too bad I was there and started taking pics and Indian groups goes in front of my camera and it was wedding pics. The lady who seems like a cameraman told me they will do reception in 10 min so just 10 min for photo shoot. Of course I'm ok since it's their wedding day and I was waiting with my dogs. Who is pissed by interrupted your photo shoot over wedding day although I was there first??? I was waiting and waiting. I parked my car at meter so I had limited time. They took wedding shoot for 40 min and after that they started taking pics individually. Hello? I was waiting for you guys!!! Get out when you guys are done!!! Finally they were out of my pics and I only took 5 min to take pics. Fuck my luck!!!!

Beautiful piece of green in the middle of the city, right next to the Smith center. Around is all construction for new apartment buildings. Just grass and some art nothing more.

This is a small park directly across from the Smith Center, which is a solid spot for some reflection and rest, especially if you're living the busy Downtown lifestyle. Symphony Park isn't so much a park but a large patch of grass with a few benches to sit on, string lights for nighttime hangouts. Come here during the mid to late afternoon and catch up on some of that sun before it disappears behind the mountains, then at night snap some great selfies in front of the rainbow art installation. Party park, this is not, but some peaceful family or friend time? You've found it.

Symphony Park is a small but beautiful park located right next to Smith Center. There's a well maintained patch of grass, a couple of benches, and string lighting overhead that really sets the tone of this hip park. Of course, the standout here is the colorful art fixture that makes an appearance in so many professional photography sessions. I've always wanted to visit Symphony Park specifically just to see this art piece, and now I can happily say I finally have. YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2017: #21

SOOOO DARN PRETTY!!! I wish I lived closer to here to just walk, bring the nephew/niece or just take the dogs. I love Vegas and Vegas life but, lets be honest and say that all the casinos and Strip madness can get old and played out. Being here at Symphony Park makes me feel like I'm in LA or SF just enjoying the outdoors and culture of the city. Especially when it's next to the beautiful architecture of The Smith's Center. Ugh, I'm so in love with that building and it's Great Gatsby feel. The park alone is strewn with lite lightbulbs on lines that go from palm tree to palm tree and it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo profile picture worthy! Along with the various art lying across the grounds. Came here during sunset and it was perfect. No filter needed. Can't wait to have a picnic here!

While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

This place is huge, beautiful, and surprisingly impressive. It has that rare park energy where you can wander around and still feel like you have only discovered about 12 percent of it. The grounds are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of room for events, families, kids, dogs, festival chaos, and people like me pretending I am "just going for a stroll" when really I am hunting for snacks. For a big event, it worked really well. There was enough open space that it did not feel like everyone was crammed together in one sweaty little patch of grass questioning their life choices. The park gives you room to breathe, walk, sit, explore, and fully commit to whatever themed event you accidentally became emotionally invested in. Overall, this is a vast, beautiful park with great event potential and plenty of space to enjoy. We came for the pirates, but the park itself was definitely part of the treasure

You can really feel how much care and intention went into creating this. Each life lost is honored with a tree and a small tribute area, and it appears that loved ones wrote personal messages for each individual. It was incredibly moving. Walking through the garden made us pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the time we have here on earth. It was especially heartbreaking to see how young some of the victims were--some only around 20 years old, with their whole lives ahead of them.
