The young woman Sahara that works up from is so kind and friendly, she's very helpful and will make sure you have a great meal. All of the dishes I have tried are incredible. My new quest is to find the best naan near me... Got 3 kinds of naan: garlic, onion, and chili. The garlic was pretty good, but definitely need to dip it in something, and also probably wouldn't order that one again. The chili was alright, very spicy (obviously), again needs to be dipped in something, wouldn't order again. The onion was the best one out of the bunch. It was actually an onion kulcha (naan stuffed with onion). This was the only one that didn't need any dipping sauce. I will say, the actual products don't look anything like the pictures on their ordering website :( Also ordered the Tamarind chutney- pretty good but more sweet than spicy. This specific chutney didn't pair well with the naan we ordered either. The service was great though. Very friendly and very very quick service. FYI- they have a sign on the outside of the building that says lunch buffet but once inside there is a smaller sign that says the buffet has been discontinued. First timer, will be back. Portions for the price point were good. Loveeedddd the butter chicken and vegetarian samosa. Can't wait to go and try some more options. Fairly decent sized menu. When you walk in, you can smell the warm spices, but not to where it's overpowering. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, and courteous. Would go back just to talk to him! My favorite place to order Indian food. I try to get one new dish to try with my favorite Butter Chicken. This time I went for two new dishes, Aloo Saag and Baingan Bharta. Roti instead of naan. WOW. This place is nothing short of spectacular. First, the place looks pretty and is very clean inside, and smells fantastic! Secondly, the food is amazing. The menu is HUGE and for a vegetarian, there was so much to choose from that I had trouble picking one, and I plan on going back to try everything. If you get something with Korma sauce, get the garlic naan to dip in it! The combination is to die for. It's also not expensive, for three people who each got meals, naan and specialty drinks (lassis) it was around $70. The staff was also amazing, going above and beyond. Our waiter was so nice, and she recommended food that she thought each of us would like for the next time. Overall, fantastic experience, fantastic food. Great food and service at Masala! While visiting the area, I consulted Yelp and stumbled upon this little restaurant. It wasn't crowded for a Saturday night. The inside is very basic and they happen to be playing classic hindi songs. We ordered the saag paneer, chicken karahi, and an onion naan. Everything was delicious. The saag paneer and the naan were the standouts. The chicken was a bit chewy, but the overall flavor was good. The Naan was baked with spring onions and very tasty. Our server, was very friendly and efficiently worked all 3 occupied tables, while hustling to assist all the take-out orders. And, there was certainly a revolving door of pick-up orders while were there. Masala appears to be a popular Indian restaurant in the area. read more

I recently ordered on Uber eats from masala. Normally for a protein I order chicken. Unfortunately this time around, I went with goat. The order was about 80% bone disguised as meat chunks. I'm pretty mad about it as usually these guys are quality. I shouldn't be constantly picking bone shards out of every bite. Maybe they have a new chef, but extremely lazy or a dirty thing to do to a returning customer. I made a complaint on Uber eats so not sure it went though. If you decide to order goat, make sure you check your order if you can. As you can see by my photos it's very large bones as well as shards of bones in each bite. That's a food safety issue in my opinion. On top of me not getting my value in what I paid for since most of my meal was bones and cartilage. 1/10 for this order read more

After reading past reviews on Masala Restaurant, I was very encouraged to visit the place. The restaurant was empty but the hostess/waitress was a very engaging young lady that seated me at the window table. After reviewing the menu I ordered a mixed green house salad, tandoori chicken served with basmati white rice, naan garlic bread. I also ordered the curry lamb. Once the food was ready it was served all at once. Everything was served hot and was favorable. I was very pleased. This restaurant has a very diverse client based that was coming into the restaurant to pickup take out orders. The service was wonderful. I'm happy that I found a non pretentious mom and pop local restaurant serving the West Warwick Rhode Island neighborhood. I will definitely return when I'm in town. read more

So, usually i go to places and they give you slightly less rice then you want, not them. I asked for a very spicy vindaloo, and the flavor was good and it was spicy. This is my area Indian spot now. Okay so took an overnight trip to Warwick/ providence area and wanted some Indian food. Go to Masala. This was was incredible. The staff, 10/10. The food 10/10. Best decision we made on our trip was trying Masala. The apps were delicious. The side sauces were refreshing. The main dishes were perfectly seasoned and the naan to die for. Amazing food! I've been looking for a Indian place that does Samosa Chaat since I moved to the area and they did not disappoint. Slightly different than what I'm used to but none the less, flavorful and delicious. The Lamb tikka masala was also great. The Lamb was super tender and the sauce was delicious. The mango lassi was smooth and thick and had a great mango flavor. There's a parking lot and plenty of parking . I love Indian food, and I'd never been here before. I've read about it and found the reviews positive. I have ordered delivery twice now and both times, the food was delicious. We have tried both the chicken and lamb Korma and they was delicious, way better than what we are used to here in East Greenwich. The garlic naan was a perfect thing to help us with the chicken dishes. We also tried the chicken samosas and they were tasty and done just right. Another great meal at Masala. Located near to all your favorite shopping centers in Bald Hill road tucked in there West Warwick, RI and worth the drive from distance. The food is exceptional and freshly prepared if eating in like we did or with take out. Wow. We have been wanting to try this spot for a few months and finally got ourselves there for lunch. There were music videos from Nepal playing on the TV when we arrived which fit perfectly with the decor. We were greeted as soon as we entered and offered any table we preferred to be seated. We checked out the lunch buffet immediately, and with the food limitations I have I was sadly not able to try it. Some of the offerings I remember on the buffet include a garden salad, paneer, lentils, a fresh green bean and potato dish, a couple of chicken dishes, rice pudding for dessert, spicy sauces to add to your dish, basmati rice and more. They've got most appetites covered. If you want naan with your buffet, the waitress will bring you some fresh from the oven. When we arrived there were a few tables occupied and more arrived after us keeping the waitress moving. Although not a full dining room, there was a respectable showing for a meal at 2:30 in the afternoon. We ordered off the menu starting with the vegetable samosas. This is a dish I make myself because I like it so much. Compared to other locations I have sampled this item, Masala did it best. The crust is light and flaky, the interior has just enough spice to be tasty without offending the tongue and two spicy side sauces are provided if you want an extra 'umph'. I am completely happy with this dish. My dining companion ordered Vindaloo, which is a favorite. This one is very nice. Hot and spicy, but again, without being offensive. If you like spice this one should satisfy. If you need more, ask for some hot sauce, they will be happy to oblige. The rice arrives in a separate dish and was light and fluffy. My lamb kabob is served with a side salad and wedge of lemon. There is hearty portion on that plate. The kabob is well seasoned. Spicy while not at all 'hot'; a very nice dish. The sauce provided on the side is also spicy, but again, not hot and a nice complement to the lamb. I gave the salad a squeeze of lemon and a little salt and was a nice compliment to the meal. One order of naan was also on the menu and was used to sample the vindaloo (for me) besides enjoying it with my lamb. This is a very nice naan. Very light while still having that naan texture. I find this one to be ever so slightly sweet which makes it a perfect accompaniment for hot and spicy food. The waitress was a young woman who was constantly on the move during our visit. She was very polite and professional and answered all our questions. The chef also came out of the kitchen during our visit to make sure we were happy with our meals, which we assured him we were. We brought more than half our meals home and I had a bit more of the naan and lamb before putting it in the fridge for later. Still delicious. You really should give this place a try. read more

We got mild spice for everything but I still found it a little spicier than expected. However, I have a low spice threshold.
