Two sushi rolls flying dragon and flaming paradise roll.
John V.

The service was ok middle of the road the waitress was asked for gluten free soy and forgot to bring. The food was mediocre, the green curry had chicken that was. It fully cooked. The flaming paradise roll had old brown tuna on top and the flying dragon roll had brown avocado. They looked old and left over. The one good thing was the pot stickers. Not the best meal. The restaurant was clean and not very busy.

This is one of my go to lunch spots. Alyssa was my waitress and she was absolutely fantastic. They're running a great deal this summer with their bento boxes. Buy one get one half off. The food is really great Asian fusion. It has a nice outdoor ambiance on the patio that I was a big fan of. I had the beef tips and every part of the bento box was also good. I will be returning. I also had the honey walnut shrimp which was great as well.

Went for a friend's birthday and was sat at a nice round private table. I had the honey walnut chicken which was sweet and crunchy which was really the highlight. The rice wasn't great. Would have gotten white or fried next time.

Mongolian beef- YUMMM

Very good, will definitely add to my pickup for dinner places. My daughter's chicken terriyski was a little dry, but overall, very good meals.

My husband ordered the dinner with three California rolls, soup and salad. The rolls were pretty bad. The worst I've ever had. Mostly all rice and very small. I really didn't see much crab inside. I ordered a house salad $5.00 also small for the price. The volcano roll was excellent and it was delivered on fire. Nice touch. My son and his girlfriend ordered the special rolls for the night and they were very pleased with their food.

What it lacked in space, it made up for in charm and easy social interaction. Julian -- the manager, bartender, and waiter -- took care of me, and his service was attentive with great recommendations. I ordered the Soft Shell Crab Roll, which was delicious and worth the price. The Amazing Tuna Roll was fine, but overpriced for the quality of tuna used. The Lychee Margarita was outstanding and unique, and the Kirin Ichiban Light was crisp and refreshing. My colleagues tried several dishes, including the Big Bang Shrimp. The shrimp were large, but the sauce was too heavy and overly mayonnaise-based. The Miso Soup and House Salad were both flavorful. Overall, the service was great, the atmosphere was quaint and cozy, and while some items felt overpriced, the experience was still enjoyable.

Babies crying, people jumbled everywhere, and a buffet setup that was super packed together near everything else. The good: host sat me quickly and my server was polite and super quick. I guess they got this down to a science? The bad: everything else. How the heck are these reviews high? This place was packed but I felt like if I coughed, it would be all over my neighbor and the food. It was a cluster f. I did the buffet. While they had a lot of options, it was jam packed together. And you bumped into people trying to squeeze through some areas. The sushi was mediocre. The sweet and sour chicken was off. The fried rice wasn't warm. Even my tap water tasted funny. I couldn't finish my hot sake because it tasted off. The wasabi and ginger even looked funky (I will say the wasabi had a nice kick). Best part of my meal was leaving. The miso soup was the only decent part. I should have learned my lesson from previous Asian fusion places but I guess I trusted the reviews on this one. It's clear to me; a lot of people don't have an educated palate.

Also ordered the hibachi salmon which came with salad and other items. Tasty and my friend seemed to have liked it. Service was good and attentive. Came with a lot of peppers and mushrooms which we liked. Did wish there was a little more noodles though. A little spicy and sweet. Flavors were fine overall, not the best I've ever had but was solid. Maybe it's just the rising costs of everything but definitely did not expect to spend as much as I did especially in Tallahassee.

We just got back tonight and honestly - why didn't we send our food back. We had the Thai scallops in lemon grass - scallops were old and full of sand, the dish was horrible, rice was old (RICE!!!), the soup was horrible, full of house mushrooms with watery coconut flavor. The last time, we got eggplant that was raw and hard in a dish. Things have little flavor. Don't know why this place is popular. It's not very good. We kept mentioning to our waiter (not his fault) that it was bad but he just kept saying, 'sorry' . We shared their mixed nigiri and sashimi dish with rice, which was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Nicole enjoyed a local IPA, and we kept the rounds of water flowing. The restaurant is a few blocks from the Capital on the subdivision of an office park. It's very nice inside. When I got home, everything was packaged well and plated nicely. The best thing of what I ordered was the Szechuan calamari. The breading on it was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The salmon sashimi was fresh. Nothing to complain about. The black dragon roll was not very good and barely had any crab in it. Overall the food was average with the highlight being an appetizer. Combine this with the fact that it was $96 for these 4 items, I would only rate it 3 stars.
