CT Reforma is incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated and was a bit classier, visually, than I expected. It's really a gorgeous restaurant! We visited during the lunch hour so it was incredibly quiet, but I'm sure that on a regular day, they are packed and bustling with great energy. The gentleman who assisted us during our lunch was wonderful and full of jokes. Great customer service experience from start to finish. For bites, we started with the guacamole and, woah. That was some delicious guac and the complimentary salsas were so fresh! I just wish they gave more because they were just delicious. I kept it simple with my entree, opting for tacos: asada, pollo and barbacoa. The barbacoa wasn't my top fave taco, but the asada and pollo? Fireeee. Especially with a bit of the salsa on top. So good! I will absolutely be returning so I can try more of their entrees and their drinks.

Across the board the food ranged from edible to horrible. The rice and beans were edible, but the proteins were not. The chicken mole was dry and tasteless. The fish was so overcooked it was like eating fish-like cardboard. And the shredded chicken was not edible; it had an off-putting almost spoiled note to it. I'm not a fan of Chipotle, but the average Chipotle makes much better food than this place. Drinks: Full bar, had a Dox Equis on draft and it was good Service: Overwhelmed and cannot handle large groups Overall cleanliness: average Ambiance: attempt at semi-modern Latin mix but lacking in ambiance

The ambiance and decor were so cute, with a bar area that's perfect whether you're there solo, with a date, or a group of friends. For apps, I tried the guacamole with roasted corn relish -- they actually let you pick from three toppings (peach, chamoy, or traditional), which I thought was such a fun touch. For my entrée, I had the Alambre steak tacos, and listen... hands down the best steak tacos I've ever had. The way the steak was cooked and seasoned was next-level, and the sweet plantains on the side had this queso and chili agave drizzle that was so good and totally unexpected. I ordered the El Clasico for my drink -- delicious and strong (but I'm a lightweight, so take that how you will ). Also, bonus points because they validate parking, which, means something for that area. I'll definitely be back -- those tacos alone are worth the trip!

He was funny, really lively, and brought great energy to the experience. Super personable and attentive, and honestly made the visit awesome. Service: 5/5. The red velvet cake was good. Velvet Taco has a rather interesting story. Starting out in its original location in Dallas in 2011…read morewith a concept that rarely succeeds: applying fusion techniques to tacos. Indian style tacos, Korean style tacos and Baja style. While these experiments are hardly new to Atlanta and America as a whole, they rarely succeed, falling into the void of establishments that made an effort, but could not get a sufficient demographic ready for such experiments. And here came Velvet Taco by Dallas restareneurs Jack Gibbons and Randy DeWitt, showing that this risky concept can actually work. Over the past decade and a half, Velvet Taco expanded to dozens of successful locations and underwent major expansion. The Buckhead location debuted in 2019, hardly a great year to open a restaurant with an incoming pandemic. But, unlike the mom and pop shops that often went out of business, the private equity funds of this micro chain allowed the location to survive. Enough history and let's look at the tacos themselves. The top seller is the chicken tikka taco, the Indian fusion into a taco shell, with deep fried masala chicken, cilantro, basmati rice, raita and Thai basil. The combination seems ridiculous in a taco, but actually works really well. The element of rice, in my opinion, seems unnecessary give the tortilla is already there, but the rest is excellent. Then, there is the Birria taco, made with gruere cheese, pickled red onion and griddled corn tortillas. This one, despite throwing a Swiss cheese into the mix, is a true winner. Perfect shell, delicate pork and a side of consome make it such a winning package. The idea of serving the consome on the side is brilliant, as it allows targeted dipping or pouring, instead of having a taco that does not old up and gets saggy. The folks working the Buckhead location are polite and things are kept clean. All around, it's a very enjoyable spot and likely to stay here for years to come.

We were stuffed after our food but still made room for their tres leches, which we added dulce de leche to (for no extra cost). It was one of my favorite I've had in Atlanta. It was $40 for both of our meals and dessert (without any drink) which isn't terrible for Atlanta. Definitely more of an indulgent visit but worth it for the delicious and quick bite.

We got the Birria, carne asada, chicken achiote, and bang bang shrimp tacos. All tacos were hot and just the right amount of crisp to soft. My favorite is the carne asada but the meat does have a little chew to it. The bang bang shrimp was a close second because it was tangy and crispy. The Birria was just ok - meat was tender but the Birria itself wasn't super flavorful. Each taco came with plenty of lime and the salsas on the side had a good kick. Love the green! The guacamole on the side is huge and came with a really large serving of chips. The service was also friendly and efficient, we had our tacos after ordering in less than 15 minutes which was great given how hungry we were.

We waited only a few minutes and was able to navigate the small lot to get a spot. There is a designated window for pre-orders and walk-ups have a separate line. It wasn't that long when we were there, but was out the door when we left. Ordering was easy as we got a chance to preview the paper menu, and we were given a card to place on our table once we found it. There was plenty of seating options despite the full lot, but it was nice out so a lot of people were out on the patio with views of the busy intersection. The decor was modern and airy. We checked out the salsa bar while we waited for our appetizer and I found the jalapeno roasted garlic, which was spicy and amazing!! Our appetizer was the con queso and I added chorizo, which I highly recommend. The steak was my favorite and I loved that you could taste the smoke in each of the meats with each bite. The grapefruit marg was strong! We were in and out in well under an hour.
