Aside from warm and friendly service, each dish was presented with a thoughtful, artistic touch. The restaurant itself was petite but the clean lines and laid back vibe evoked a design aesthetic that permeated through decor and dishes. Everything was perfectly cooked. The tenderness of the pork and freshness of the vegetables, fish and seafood spoke volumes of the cooking technique as well as emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients. If I had one knock it would be the paella was slightly too salty, but aside from that, bravo! We didn't have time to try desserts but if we ever come back to Figueres would love to visit this place again.

If you're looking for an eclectic, experimental, molecular gastronomy type meal, this is the place for you. The coordinates restaurant has a very interesting interior, and an even more interesting menu. The surrealist menu is particularly excellent-- they give you a variety of little snacks, as well as non liquid soup and canneloni without pasta. The price of 38 euros (for a six course meal with wine and cava) is really quite excellent. They were also very flexible regarding allergies! My husband couldn't have their rockfish due to allergies and they were happy to substitute it for the kangaroo at no extra charge. Bilingual, attentive staff, and an open kitchen that allows you to watch the chefs work (assuming you have the right table for it!). I recommend making a reservation unless you plan on arriving early. 5 stars because the price and service was perfect; I'm surprised this place isn't on the bib gourmand list!
