We came to celebrate a birthday and had a rather large party. They seated us in the back, there was plenty of room and everyone was comfortable. Our main waitress and her helpers were on their game! Our drinks were never empty, food all came out at the same time, she was very attentive even with there being so many of us. The food was delicious! They start you with the warm garlic bread. This stuff is trouble bc if left alone with it, I could eat the entire tray. The main plate portions were huge, most had to get a to go container. We will absolutely be back! read more

Two visits here, both for lunch! This is a large, warm space, and smells wonderful! We sat in a sunny booth, and on the first visit, Melissa's favorite server (female, very friendly) bustled over. You do need to ask for the sandwich menu, which is paper, otherwise you're given the big menu, in a folder. The second time, with my mother, our server (male, not as friendly) brought it begrudgingly. There are more casual options on the paper menu. The food is wonderful!! Everything was yummy and well made. I had two different paninis, and both were crispy and delicious. The dinner menu also looks very good. Lots of classic Italian entrees. And they have pizza by the slice! I'm looking forward to returning the next time that I'm in the area. read more

After a couple of months in the area, Mary's has become our favorite restaurant. It's always packed, but less so in the off season. Fortunately, they take reservations. Mary's is a down to earth island in a sea of pretension. The bar is quite busy. The crowd is all over the place, from a cadre of regulars to flocks of Hamptons doyennes. The staff are lovely. The bartender makes an excellent martini. The mark up on wines is really reasonable. The food is uniformly excellent. Meals start with a basket of excellent focaccia strips. Our favorites include the personal pizzas (which are big enough to share). They are rich and have unique sesame seeded crusts. I often order the linguini with clam sauce. There is a ton of clams in the dish. I keep eyeing the Flinstonian sized veal chop parmigiana, but still haven't closed the deal. Despite going there often, we never have had enough self control to leave room for dessert. Ah well, hope springs eternal! read more

The food was delicious! I ordered the Caesar salad and it was fresh and chill without wilt or brown. The dressing was deliciously creamy and tasty. The shrimp were perfectly grilled and croutons were home made. It would have been nice to de-shell them but whatever. A little small for dinner salad Tasted the eggplant Parmesan was awesome. It was cooked to perfection and was not bitter or overly breaded and the sauce was hearty and a perfect mix of garlic and spices. Hearty portion! One thing--it was not a one layer fill the plate presentation but stacked in a deep dish--not that this mattered. The lasagna was perfection and the cheese velvety smooth and meat sauce fantastic in taste-- all ingredients well proportioned and prepared with intention and forethought. . Talking of portions--generously sized. The mini rice balls had amazing ingredients such as pease and beef and they were amazing taste--albeit a tad oily. The zucchini chips were NOT thin but about the 2/3 the height of an Oreo. They were awesome and cooked to perfection. The service was good--would have been great but towards the middle of the meal the waitress was no where to be found and I had to summon someone for water. Sadly, I summoned someone who I thought was our waiter but they happened to be another patron--they didn't oblige, appropriately. We were outside and therefore the noise level was acceptable--chairs and table a little backyard-ish, lighting almost acceptable and fans helped keep us cool. The fireplace added to the ambiance and helped us think we were not in a friends backyard. So, great food, good service and eh ambiance makes this a 5-3-2 but I rounded up because food was so good. read more

Have eaten here few times. Special drinks excellent, food is enjoyable, sometimes more than others, prices are appropriate to food, some would find it a little pricey for the atmosphere. Noise level is ALWAYS high, no buffers , wood floors, rather low ceilings so not even fans to disburse noise. I did like that they had tablecloths, definitely a plus for that. Our server kept touching his face, earrings, hair, so that was not appetizing. All in all less noise, less touching and I would say 4 stars. read more

Used Mary's to cater Christmas Eve for the second year in a row. Amazing! We ordered 3 days before-no problem at all. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Those mini rice balls were a huge hit. Full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Each dish came as though cooked only for us. Nothing seemed cooked in large quantities. Great job Mary's! Had a very nice lunch experience at Mary's Today. Celebrating my mom's bday with my wife. Ambiance was clean bright and welcoming. Our server was very friendly and did a very nice job. We had the Burratta appetizer and calamari. Entrees included chicken Marsala Caesar salad with shrimp and the chopped Mary's salad. All were very good and tasty. I didn't get to write a review for the first time so before I start this review, I just want to say Kudos to our waiter Stephen who was just amazing on our first visit. Tonight, Dianne took great care of us. I was so excited to be here again because our first time was just amazing. Tonight, my wife and I shared a Ceaser salad which was topped with fresh parmigiana shavings. For dinner, I had the amazing seafood marinara loaded with shrimp, clams and mussels in a delicious marinara sauce over linguini. Our friends had the unbelievable veal chop which was truly huge and unbelievable! I didn't order this because I wanted to try something different, I had the break last time.... Fuggedaboudit! This place is situated between two villages on a long stretch of less active road.. YET its non stop action at Mary's. Went in and was in shock to see how super busy this place is. Pizza counter up front, and tables to sit, and other areas in and outside of the restaurant full table service even better. Calamari is good, regular or Thai. You can't really go wrong here as most of the food seems homestyle and good. Definitely good for casual lunch or dinner and can even do well for a nice evening outside on the patio in warm weather. read more

For appetizers we got the bruschetta that comes on a crostini which had a soft crunch. The Thai calamari was insanely good. I've never had calamari that wasn't chewy, this was easy to chew and our bartender informed us they cut the squid in house so its fresh not frozen! What really blew me away were the rice balls. It had a crisp outside and when you bite you get a blast of vodka sauce inside. It comes with vodka sauce to dip it into as well for extra love. Lastly, we got a margarita pizza on a cauliflower crust. The Thai calamari was quite large in size spice to it and a bit chewy for my taste. The flatbread pizza was delish. We had the veggie margarita and spinach artichoke pies. By far the spinach artichoke pie was amazing but the veg was too mushy We moved onto our entrees not one of us had the same dish. The portions are huge! We ended up taking most of the food home.
