It's very hard find a good Tailor for my alterations because I'm short statue. Had to have them alter my jacket and pants they look great. Some people don't understand a good Tailor most always has a huge back up of orders from their big customers list. If they are great. If you want a rush job this is not the place. When my little sister asked me to be her matron of honor I was 8 months pregnant so I basically had to guess what size I was going to be 6 months later when ordering my dress. Needless to say I guessed wrong so I needed to get my dress tailored. Mary's was a lifesaver. They took in the waist of my dress several inches and hemmed the bottom to the appropriate length. They did such an amazing job that you would think it was a custom dress that had never been altered. Because I was still in the process of losing the baby weight I waited probably longer than I should to get the dressed tailored. Mary's was only great about squeezing me in before the wedding day but even had it completed a couple Dey's before promised. They were lifesavers! read more

I paid $30+ and waited two weeks to have two pairs of pants hemmed. At 11 on pickup day, they still hadn't started on them. I was told I would be next in line and to come back in 1-1.5 hours. When I returned 4 hours later, the pants still weren't ready. I waited in the parking lot another 30 minutes for them to finish. In their mind, they did nothing wrong because the pants were ready by 5pm on pickup day. (They close at 5:30 and aren't open on weekends, so good luck making it there during that 30-minute pickup window if you have a typical job.) I'm frustrated that they couldn't even keep their word after I made an unnecessary trip over there. The quality of the hem was fine, but I think I can get "fine" from somewhere else with lower prices and faster turnaround times. read more

This is the only place I trust to get any alterations done. I have taken several uniforms in and they will always look up the current regs to make sure patches and name tapes are sewn in the right spot. They are quick and accurate. I wouldn't give any stars! My daughter took her prom dress here to get the length taken up and what she picked up wasn't what they pinned. She wanted it to the floor touching the floor and thats where they pinned it, when she picked it up it was no where near the floor and showed her feet She was very upset and just paid and left but after talking with her I called them and explained to them that she was upset and it wasn't what we paid for. They asked if she'd bring it back. Also said "why didn't she say anything" well, because she's a kid and was upset and nervous that's what I told the man on the phone. She takes it back in there and when she walks in they immediately start interrogating her about why she didn't say anything and what did she do send a picture to her mom and her mom don't like it. They have her try it on again and the lady helping her lace it up in the back is continuously pulling it down to make it appear longer and even has the nerve to tell her "it's a little tight right here" well that's because you're pulling a corset top down to where is isn't suppose to be! They kept telling her it looks fine, we never said it didn't look fine, we said it wasn't what we paid for and she's not happy with it. They said they would refund half the payment. My daughter took the money and left still very upset and humiliated that she didn't count the money and come to find out it wasn't even half. It should've been a full refund for the mistake they made and for humiliating and interrogating her! I have been using this place for 10years at least and never have I had a problem or never would I have expected them to treat her which such disrespect. Sad how businesses think they can treat young people. And I take back my one star! read more

I took a dress here to be altered a while ago and as soon as I walked in I immediately got the feeling that I wasn't welcome, like me asking for an alteration was a burden to them, they were not friendly at all. My dress was ONE layer and only needed to be taken up about two inches, pretty easy to do. They charged me $43 for this and when I asked what exactly I was paying for Mary told me that it was for their time and labor. I have family members who do this kind of thing and they have all assured me that that is WAY overpriced, I think she saw that I was young and assumed I wouldn't know I was being overcharged. All in all it was just a bad experience, I won't be coming here again. read more

This place was reasonable the first time I went there, but then I went back to get my wedding dress hemmed and they told me $160 and the man was rude when I asked why so much for only a hem, he said "well I can do 130, it's 4 hours of work" I went to A & B alterations and they were only $60 and friendly !! read more

I really wanted this to be a great experience. I had heard good things about this location. Do NOT take your clothes here. I brought a bridesmaids skirt in to be taken in about an inch. I picked it up; there were black stains all over the bottom. I gasped and addressed the issue with the male checking me out. He told me that they aren't responsible for stains put on the items. He took it to the back and to see if they could get the stains out. They could not. He then proceeded to say "you put the stain on it, I know we couldn't have done that." I informed him it was brand new, I personally ordered it and brought it in. I was 100% sure it was not there. He proceeded to say "I know you put the stains there" and went on on a rude rant. He was very rude, unprofessional, and ruined my skirt. Take you items elsewhere. read more
