Went to an NCAA softball tourney there in February 2023. Fields 1-4 were used in the tourney,…read morewhich are located at the far eastern end of the complex at Drew St/ McMullen Booth Road. Parking fills up fast and cars are parked haphazardly due to it being an unpaved lot. Get there early. Once parked, you have to walk all the way around to the front to be hand scanned entering the event and to process your ticket. Know the security restrictions. I saw women being turned away with large purses vs. having the 12x12 clear bags allowed. There were permanent bleachers with 8 ft. chain metal fences obscuring the field so we walked to the outfield to sit in temporary bleachers with no sight obstructions. These are metal bleachers, bring your chair pads. Regular bathrooms are small and crowded but they did have porta potties and temporary ones located around the fields. Scoreboards are very small and, in our field, we had to turn totally around to see the counts and the score since it is in the outfield. Fields looked in great shape. Seems to be a players park vs. a spectators experience.

Maps of the park would be helpful. It's a beautiful campus though with lots of nature. A great…read moreplace for softball buried next to a busy street. Not enough bathrooms, but that goes for any outdoor rec center. It was nice to be there to support a charity event.

A great old ballpark. Plenty of parking…read more A freindly helpful staff. Always fun with intense Philadelphia fans. The stereotypes are true!

Upon arriving at the park, 90 minutes before the game started, The Phillie Phanatic mascot was nowhere to be found. He should have been walking around the whole park for pictures with everyone. Instead, he didn't show up until the opening ceremonies, he then disappeared up until the 7th inning, where he made a brief appearance in one end of the park. There was no TV host in the stands on camera talking to the fans. There was no fun trivia, no interviews with players, no prizes, no free t-shirts--nothing. What was odd is that you only had some stone faced camera guy going around the stands focusing on random people in the crowd for the big screen--very awkward. He could have at least made some hand motions or smiled. Where do they get these guys from? Finally, the beer guys were fighting amongst each other for business, and yelling "Beer Man!" at the top of their scratchy lungs--god help me. Is that supposed to be our entertainment?! The Philly staff could certainly learn a thing or two by taking a short drive to Dunedin to see how the Jays staff entertain the crowd between innings, it's so much fun! Make an effort guys.

I play league ball softball here during the week, and the complex is nice. They have 3…read moresoftball/baseball fields, that are pretty well kept. Not the best in the area, but not the worst either. They have a dog park here as well. They have a pretty big area that has different obstacles that the bigger dogs can use. They have a separate area for smaller dogs that can run freely and not have to worry about the big dogs going after them. There is a playground area that is right when you pull into the park that has plenty of slides, swings and activities for the kids to do. Lastly, they have 4 different racquet ball courts that people are always playing on as well, if that is something that interests you! The one knock that I have about the complex is parking. There is a ton of parking but if you try and go to the dog park as softball is going on you are going to be walking to get to the dog park part. Same goes for if you are trying to make it to a softball game, and the dog park is busy, they take all the parking. It goes both ways, so just plan on walking a little bit in order to make it to your chosen activity!

Great size & it's separated for big/little dogs. My only compalint is that all the dogs were older…read moredogs just laying around & not playing. Their owners were also older & not super friendly. That being said I am going to go there again to see if maybe it was the time of day. I have a puppy & he needs playtime.
