The Sprayground is located within Highlander Park in Dunedin. Just as the name suggests, it's an interactive children's water playground filled with several water features. It's large 3,000 square-foot play area has colorful, action-packed features that gush, dump and pour water from a variety of whimsical devices. The Sprayground is ADA accessible. It has a non-slip surface, no standing water and includes a fully automatic system of spray and streaming water features with a re-circulating water system. The deck perimeter has shade structures and spectator benches. The facility also has a lightning detection system with automatic water shut off and security cameras.

This splash pad it awesome! I took my 4 kids ages 1-11. The 11 year old helped my 1 year old down the slide and play through the sprayground! There are bathrooms and a playground close by. We ate lunch at the picnic tables before heading into the sprayground. We love that Dunedin has this to offer and the best part is it's free.

Kawanis Sprayground is one of my students' favorite water park for field trip after FCAT. The attitude of what's done is done get soak well in the park before reality kicks in. Don't you just love kids. Things I like about this park. It is gated for children's safety. It is appropriate for all ages including 55+. Picnic areas are shaded. Plenty parking space. In case of medical emergency, Fire Department is next door. The playground can hold 30 to 40 kids. It looks small but there are plenty things to keep them amused. Just leave the rest to those playful rug rats. They can never get bored of playing water and chasing each others tails.

It doesn't get any better than this on a hot Florida day. Wonderful splash park and playground!

It doesn't get any better than this on a hot Florida day. Wonderful splash park and playground! The children were all having the time of their lives and the adults were quite happy as well. Open to the public. FREE admission. If you are looking for something fun to do with your children or grandchildren, check out the Kiwanis Sprayground in Dunedin. Highly recommended!

There is also a park and a city pool close by for when you have had enough time at the splash pad.

The park itself is very clean and nicely laid out with a cool splash pad for children to play in as well as a nice little park with stuff to climb and slide down and around on. I like that the park had some really clean bathrooms and the stalls didn't have any gaps when I closed the door. Being able to walk around this park and see some beautiful views of the water was something that was very cool because it is right off the water! No matter where I was walking there was something to see and enjoy. There was also a ton of seating around the park so I didn't have to sit on the floor or sit in the way of anyone. I also love that there are both stairs and ramps so that everyone is able to enjoy this park!

Also, during this event they had the bathrooms of the music venue open, which was really nice. I liked being able to walk up the hill between the music venue ans the library to see what it would be like to be sitting on the lawn for a concert and to also see the seating area for concerts. At the top of the hill, near where some construction is now taking place, are the murals. I love murals! They bring joy to the park. Parking isn't great. I parked far away on the street for free. The lot I parked next to is not free during concerts but was also free duringbthis daytime festival. I definitely will attend more events here.
