    Orange Fest

This is tiny park at the tip of City of Dunedin. At the end of the Main Street Dunedin, you will find this park easily. This park has not much to offer other than green space and water view. Dunedin downtown is unique and pleasant to walk at. It lead to this park after you have dinner. The city use it to host many events including The Dunedin Orange Festival, Craft Beer Fest at night, Dunedin Downtown Market, Highland Games Festival, Relay for Life, Film in the Park, Concert Band. Please check the calendar to find out. Live music was playing on each festival. The park is in the water front but the view is blocking by the marina.

Such a beautiful playground! Walking distance from a bunch of quaint shops, the marina, ice-cream, etc

Lots of trees and waterfront is nearby

Very nice park to enjoy with your friends and family. I went here for the Dunedin Orange Festival. It is on the gulf and located at the edge of downtown Dunedin. There is plenty of shade, a gazebo and a nice playground for your kiddies. Plenty of Pokemon (being trendy here). Parking is located nearby and they had set up event parking across the street when I visited. There is a boat ramp near the playground and it looks like nice walking grounds...it was hard to tell with all of the tents and people. But I would certainly like to return to just enjoy the peace of the park.

All in all not a very large park but it is nice for the smaller festivals that are not big enough to take over and close down the streets of Dunedin. I.e. Beer festival and taste of Dunedin. They have a small area for the kids and a nice monument that has a slab of each of the 50 states, state rock. Right at the marina so you can walk to the pier to see a sunset and view the boats of Dunedin marina. There are a total of three restaurants within a two minute walk but I will not mention the. As they are the worse of Dunedin.

    Our sunsets are just gorgeous!!

Just an easy and nice spot to watch the birds and boaters during the day, or the amazing sunsets in tbe evening. Take a mini-break and enjoy!!

    Orange festival highlight... The park!!

Edgewater park was very nice. The two mochas and I attended the Dunedin Orange Festival here. Although very hot outside the festival was nice and eventful. We didn't get to see all the events that I wanted to see like the Pin Up contest or the craft brew contest but what we did attend was fun. The girls had a good time on the playground and in the jumping house that was set up for the festival.

Great little park along the water. You can smell the ocean and enjoy the benches and walking paths. Great place to come and relax on a beautiful winter evening. Not a ton of free parking.

Bring your food and drink; beautiful view, good bathrooms, cheaper than a restaurant, no tipping.

    Where is parking located?

Parking is right there at the marina near the playground. I believe it's a 2 hour limit.

Lake Chautaqua offers more shade and, if you like, a paved walkway that runs along the road. There are also some well-established paths within the wooded area, which I really like. It tends to be cooler there and gives the dogs plenty to sniff. There are many places to toss your dog's waste, and most people adhere to cleaning up after their pets. A large parking lot toward the beginning of the park has water stations for adults, children, and dogs. There is also an available hose in a small fenced-in area. It's not overly crowded. Trash bags are provided for you to help maintain the trail, so be sure to pickup your dog's poop! This place is beautiful - it was baren despite going on the weekend and gives you a chance to really soak in the beauty. Of course, the oak trees & palms including many other plants/trees I couldn't identify are so pretty. There's a small pond (catch & release) surrounded by overgrown vines and trees & two small bridges. There's a dock that overlooks the lake - I somehow missed it and will def. return to check it out. No restrooms. Paved paths available if you prefer. Parking is plentiful.

The captain loves to tell dad jokes and the other tells you fun facts about the islands. It's a short ride to caladesi. There is construction going on due to the past hurricanes but there is bathrooms, a cafe, and plenty of shade and trails! I can't wait to go back and explore more. What an absolutely beautiful park with stunning views!…read more I had the pleasure of visiting here during a February weekend, and it is very clean, refreshing and peaceful. A lot of different birds to see and it's great for a walk or bike ride. We loved walking here during the Safety Harbor BDR (race) and took our time to enjoy the views. We have enjoyed this park for over 30 years and have attended multiple company functions and family gatherings. The Indian Mound is paved and offers a glimpse into the past. Informational markers all along the way. Roads are paved (and 15 mph), easily traversed by car, bike, or walking. Almost every area offers scenic views of the northern tip of Tampa Bay waters. Something new to me was a series of rocks that I first thought maybe a rock garden, but closer examination revealed a series of climbing rocks for kids. It's a great place, wonderfully maintained. Plane to spend an hour or more enjoying it, with friends or family, or alone. Peaceful....
