Walking into Logan's Roadhouse feels like stepping into a Southern barn party where someone decided…read moreto serve steaks and crank up the country tunes. The smell of grilled meat hits you the moment the doors swing open, and before you know it, you've got a basket of their legendary yeast rolls in front of you--warm, fluffy, and possibly more addictive than the actual meal. The vibe is loud and laid-back, with peanut shells (sometimes) on the floor and license plates on the wall. It's not fine dining, but it never pretends to be. I ordered a mesquite-grilled steak smothered in garlic butter and onions, and when it landed right, it was the kind of savory, smoky bite that makes you nod slowly like, "Yep... that's it." The sides--mac and cheese, sweet potato, and maybe a drink the size of a small bathtub--made it feel like a Southern comfort parade. The service was cheerful, even when the place got busy and orders came out a bit slower. It's one of those places where you don't go for precision--you go because you want meat, a loud booth, and a night where you can eat with your elbows on the table and not get judged. Some nights, Logan's hits it just right. Other nights? Maybe your steak's a little off or the fries are lukewarm. But either way, those rolls always bring it home.

I stopped into Logan's for dinner and walked out with far more than a good meal. Misty was my server and bartender, and her kindness truly stood out. The food was hot and perfectly cooked, and the atmosphere had that comfortable, family feel--just right for enjoying dinner while watching football. Misty, thank you for simply being YOU.

Oysters on the halfshell, something popular there, was real bad we ordered a half order of them and I wasn't expecting to get half the oyster too. They were pitiful and a waste of money. Whoever shucked them did a terrible job. They didn't taste the best either. The crackers and horseradish was the real star there unfortunately. Next was there buffalo chicken fries and wings. Either they had a new chef training or that chef needs to go. We were served old inedible potato sticks that wouldn't even break to a fork and the sauce was weird and almost chemically? Or something taste odd in it. The fries sat at the tables edge until taken away. The wings were severely overdone and hard to chew but the sauces were helping us tear through them. The sauces we ok though. If it weren't for the waitress, the only saving grace of this place, I could easily give this a 1star.

It was fun watching them make the dough right in front of us, and the oven-baked pizzas made everything taste fresh. The White Bluff pizza had fresh toppings on top, including arugula, which I didn't expect but really enjoyed. We also ordered cheese sticks, and they came in a pizza-style shape, definitely unexpected, but good! The drinks were amazing too, I got the blueberry cider and loved it. Not gonna lie, I compared the meal to Chilis because they are our go to for chips and salsa and this type of meal. While the cheese sticks, boneless wings, and quesadilla were on par, Chilis still wins at the chips and salsa. The chips were too burnt and the salsa too smoky. That's my personal preference though. I'm a fan of the thin airy tortilla chips. The spinach dip was a bit too toasted on top, but the dip itself was good. The salad was really good. Extremely large and packed with toppings. The quesadilla loaded with cheese and toppings too. The server was fantastic. She was on it for refills and making sure food was good. The place was clean too. Didn't use the bathroom, so I can't speak for that. It was a busy Monday evening though and the food came out fast and hot.
