Just a heads-up to others: we experienced a billing issue caused by confusion on the office's part. When we tried to resolve it, the front desk was frustrated and unhelpful, and the tone felt aggressive and dismissive. Please don't rely solely on what they tell you about your insurance coverage which they gave us in writing that they already checked and quote us-- we strongly recommend calling your insurance provider directly to confirm what's covered which the office billing said no need and they did. Otherwise, you may end up with a surprise bill later on. Find a different service provider. In addition when they do skin testing I had to ask the nurse to wear gloves. very unprofessional! Also, they will tell u if u make payment with credit card they will charge 3.5% and their payment portal saying 2.95%. read more

The Doctor is very rude and unprofessional. Not only would she give snarky remarks to her staff but you can hear her yell at them while you are waiting to be seen. The doctor is always in a rush and if you do not take the medications she tells you to do she will let her staff to put you down "as needed" patient. I do not recommend going to this office just to be seen by this unprofessional office. However The back office nurse Elizabeth is a diamond, always so kind and greeting you with a great smile. My son needed to see an allergy specialist and we ended up here. Basically his eyes were always red and scratchy.. Long-story-short, if you or your family have these types of eye symptoms you should go straight to an allergist regardless if primary care tells you to visit an ophthalmologist fist. In one visit here we were evaluated and tested (pricked) for basic skin allergies. The culprit was dust mites and we were given a clear plan to manage this allergy. What a relief after so many failed visits with an ophthalmologist which basically wasted our time and money.. Price - Unfortunately it's common that insurance providers will not fully cover allergy tests. Such was the case for us. For the consultation and allergy panel you're looking at $500 out of pocket.. But this price is well worth it because we got a diagnosis and teatment plan in one visit... - The billing department here is very clear and honest with pricing up front. You'll have to pay up front (probably because most people coming here for allergy related issues won't get this treatment covered by insurance). - Maryam is a stong advocate for overall heath. - Staff was friendly. read more

I went there with my daughter in August. The Doctor is very nice and helpful but every time I have gone she has been in a rush. I would go back only the staff at the front desk is awful. I inquired about my bill, Jesse the front desk clerk was combative, snarky and even laughed at me saying they will give me my receipt when they give me my receipt. I said then does that mean I have to call every day to see if my detailed receipt is ready, she said "if you want to". She repeated what I said to her co worker and they both made sure they were as evasive and snarky as possible, bullies together. It was awful. When I read reviews about this clinic someone else said the same thing about this office. The doctor is great but the front desk staff are unprofessional, rude and unqualified to take care of patients in a human way. read more

Do not bring your kids here. My wife and I discovered our 6 month old had an egg allergy when introducing her to solid. We decided to bring her here for an examination and it was a terrible experience. The nurses were great and helpful but Dr. Zarei was judgmental, uneducated, and disrespectful. A few examples: - When we told her we bath our child 3 times a week, she gave us a disgusted look and said, "Who told you to do that? You should be bathing your infant twice a day" When peer review research and our pediatrician said 3 times a week to avoid dry skin. - When asking my wife about her pregnancy, Dr. Zarei asked how much weight she gained. When my wife replied, Dr. Zarei said, "Wow! That much? Even with your nausea and vomiting?" - Dr. Zarei only directed her comments and questions to my wife and acted like I wasn't in the room. When asking my wife about daycare, we told her we both work from home and watch our child. Dr. Zarei looked at me surprisingly and said, "Oh, you guys are doing this together? Wow" - When going over the results, my wife and I didn't have anymore questions and Dr. Zarei says, "What you SHOULD be asking is about nuts" She is the doctor. She should be the one giving us this information and we ask questions pertaining it. It felt like she was testing us and judging our parental skills the whole visit. The office is unorganized. Dr. Zarei told us a company would call us within three days about an epi-pen and we didn't hear from them. So we called the office and one of the nurses said "Yeah, she tells everyone that but it's not true. You have to call them" Such a small thing to fix but they do not. Makes me worried what else they're doing wrong. While this review is only for parents with kids with allergies. I don't recommend Dr. Zarei to anyone. A doctor should not act judgmental to patients, especially an allergist where people are vulnerable and self-conscious about a rash or hives. read more

I am appalled at this offices billing charges. My son needed a piece of paper signed by the Dr. stating the medication he was able to self administer at boarding school. The Dr. had to write down Zyrtec, Benadryl and Epi Pen and sign form. Office staff said there is a $15 charge to sign paperwork. I asked to speak with the Dr and office staff said she refused. So sad that it is all about the mighty dollar. You would think after charging over $700 for allergy testing, signing a piece of paper pertaining to the medication recommended would be included. read more

Due to Covid, I lost job, terrible coverage for Medical, and suffered a severe allergy which I have never experienced in all my life. I was referred to Dr. Zarei by a Dermatologist in Escondido. Dr. Zarei, was amazing, she was patient, listened to me, ruled things out, and tried to do all she could without accruing major cost. Without giving my health details, this Doctor went above and beyond and her staff to help me through this terrible ordeal that I had gone through months prior to be under Dr. Zarei care. I am no allergy free as in I know my specific allergy and have completely recovered and really thought some plastic surgery may have been in the cards. I am receiving treatment for my asthma. Dr. Zarei and her staff have been cheerful, competent, and conscientious. I'm sorry the other people who have reviewed her practice have had less than good experiences, but I have been greatly helped toward being asthma free, I have had blood tests that revealed the source of my allergies, and we are working on an ongoing treatment program. She also has taken an interest in helping me lose weight, which is another issue for me, and she has a program for that. read more

I would think twice before going to this doctor. I went in to get help with excema that suddenly developed all over my body. I couldn't go to sleep and was miserable all day long. She told me it would take 6 weeks for my symptoms to go away so I needed to wait it out. Although she had me draw blood to figure out what could be causing the rashes I ended up figuring out what was causing the problem on my own! Two visits later and then she bills my copays! $40 co-pays are not cheap, but it's better to collect them at the time of visit rather than bill in the end. $80 is not a whole lot of money but to send to collections after 60 days, 2 phone calls, and 2 letters only to charge 50% of the bill to send to collections, a couple calls and letters, is harsh! What would happen if I had a $1000 bill? Finances are really tight when you're unemployed. In addition why would I be in a hurry to pay especially when she made me suffer even after I visited her a 2nd time because I really needed help. She didn't help me.... read more

This place has been nothing but bad to my wife who is having problems with her hives. From not getting phone calls (that the staff said she was going to get) to flat out rude. Especially Michelle who if she doesn't want to work there...get a different job lady. Also, very poor lack of communication. Stay away and go elsewhere.
