My partner was in the restroom so went after us to get his drink, he ordered, she asked for his id, just like everyone else. He then gave it to her and she took it then proceeded to take it into the back, COMPLETELY bent it in half and CREASE it. He didn't say anything he doesn't care to argue about it. But I do:)) So I went and asked if she bent it she lied and told me no, to which I corrected her and told her we know she did (his id is brand new and it says it on there). Her reason is "PA IDs don't bend" I said i understand but this isn't a Pa id and informed her of the 3 main ways to know it is real also told her to make a google search. She refused to check it again and said she didn't need to serve him. (Which I know is true) At the end of the day you do not do this to someone's GOVERNMENT documents‍ mind u the owner was right there the whole time and both of them tried to tell me no one bent it and grab it out of my hands I was showing them. I also did crease my friends PA ID‍

The drive is beautiful, especially on a sunny day in the fall. The leaves are incredible. As you're driving winding roads along Wills Creek, Hillbilly Haven pops out of nowhere. You'll see plenty of pick-up trucks, four-wheelers and side-by-sides. What you get: is an absolutely quintessential dark, country, dive bar. Beloved by locals, they have pool tables, a small live music and dance area inside and a really nice outside area in the back. You'll meet some of the nicest people. Just remember-it is a local country bar and when in Rome... Here's the big draw-oh my goodness, the food! People come from miles away to get take-out. The wings are perfectly seasoned no matter the sauce/rub, juicy but crisp. The Hillbilly Deluxe burger puts a Big Mac to shame. The smoked meats are done on site by people who really know what they're doing. If you're looking for a Saturday or Sunday road trip on a pretty day and some terrific food, find Hillbilly Haven. Last, but certainly not least, everything we've tried on the menu so far has been great and fresh (pizza, sandwiches, and specials). Frankly, I'm shocked by the other reviews - especially in a town with so few local options. Hopefully those reviewers enjoy Blairsville when it's all fast food chains on the highway.

Had the crab cake the first visit, it was the real thing, not fake crab mixed with fillers but real lump crab! Today I had the lobsters bisque. It also was delicious, best slightly cooler than I would prefer. They serve nice small loaves of warmed bread with every meal, a nice touch. Ceasar salad was just the right size, and the romaine was not giant leaves but was sliced into bit sized pieces (a pet peeve I have with salad). The dressing was rich, and served on the side, so easy to control how drenched your salad is. I look forward to bringing my steak loving husband here, then I will review the steak. For now, it's nice to be able to eat out in Waynesburg and enjoy superior food in a nice setting instead of driving half an hour. This business opened just as Covid started, so kudos to the owner and staff, who have had a rough start of it - that that you can tell from the quality of the food.
