Their Saturday pizza and wing specula for $20 is a family favorite. We have never had a bad experience.

Anytime you look for good, local restaurants, the ones found inside hotels aren't necessarily the…read morefirst to come to mind. This one is a nice go-to and we were impressed with our first experience. It has a modern, up-to-date feel and a lot of space between tables. Our waitress was attentive, though couldn't personally recommend a cocktail because they can't drink there(?) I think it's good to have the wait staff sample the drinks and entrees. That way they can describe a flavor or recommend something based on the someone's individual tastes. The food was great. I got the fish and chips and my girlfriend got a burger. The fish filet was large and fried really well. The drinks were good, especially the margarita. We'll go back in the future.

The hotel restaurant at the Radisson in Wayne, Indiana was surprisingly satisfying. Visiting for a…read morefriend's wedding, our group made several stops to the bar between ceremony, reception, and the next day's catered brunch. Our bartender was great, able to handle large groups and incredibly patient for the long hours he seemingly worked. [He served us during intermittent visits between three in the afternoon and three in the morning. Hope he gets some overtime]. I first ordered a Negroni, which the bartender mixed with Aperol. This sin probably lies on me, as I did not notice the bar did not carry Campari. I quickly switched to a gin martini which helped me overcome the error in judgment. As a group, we didn't order much in terms of food, but the sweet potato fries were a highlight item. The bartender brought us extra sauces for dipping alongside the 'brown sugar aioli'--not an 'aioli' but delicious trumps nomenclature, I suppose. Our excitement for the late night return was curbed by the kitchen's closure. The bar did a great job keeping the party lubricated with alcohol and handled an influx of guests when a second wedding party sharing the hotel arrived for a whiskey-fueled raucous. The next morning's service--first we experienced with a new staff--was disheveled (not unlike our group) and the bar was unprepared to mix hangover-staying Bloody Marys. The bar does not open at the same time as brunch begins, so we were seated at a table while we waited for the beverages. The drinks were almost certainly made with a pre-packaged Bloody mix and somehow took nearly twenty minutes to prepare. The breakfast cocktail, the staple of a hotel restaurant's bar fare, was a big disappointment. Expectations at a hotel restaurant and bar should always be middling, and our experience at RBG fell within our expectations.

A guilty secret, I'm from the area. This past weekend I was back visiting family again and this…read moreplace is a staple for dining. The best way for me to do this review is to divide it up into three areas: food, atmosphere, and service. Food: Well the food is absolutely delicious that comes out from the Spike Bar. I've probably been here at least 10 times in the last two years and without a doubt, this place is extremely consistent. I usually get a cheeseburger with the gluten-free bun (which is amazing! Best gluten-free hamburger bun I've had--ever!) and a side of coleslaw. The burger is always done properly and it is thick and juicy, never dry. The spices and whatever else goes into that burger make it amazing. (I'll put a picture here.) I usually pair this with a glass of wine. I have no complaints about the selection of house wines by the glass. My sister had the Girly Gulf Fries which are basically a big plate of tasty fries with grilled chicken, green onion leaves, ranch, BBQ, cheese sauce, and who knows what else. She says this is the bomb and she gets it every time. Sadly, they were out of the fruit cup, which, if you have the pleasure is fresh fruit sliced and not canned. Atmosphere: so I generally go here when the weather is warm because I like to sit outside on the concrete decking area that overlooks the golf course and the mountains. (I'll put a picture here of that.) The view is a 10-star view. You can't beat it anywhere for outdoor dining. I will say that the inside of the bar and restaurant does need a little bit of updating but this is not too important to me since I stay outside and that is what I'm basing my review on. Service: this is the roughest part of the experience of dining here. The service is not very good and it's been like that for years. I did hear they recently got a new manager for the restaurant and bar and I am very hopeful that this improves. Sadly, I think the poor service is what keeps this place from being as busy as they should be. The servers are nice enough but often disorganized and sometimes extremely slow at greeting guests and bringing drinks. Some of them are better than others, so if you go try to get Kevin or Bernie. The outdoor dining deck should literally be full when temps are above 70 degrees.

Horrible experience. I ordered a $5 draft and the waitress made me think I was crazy because she…read moresaid they don't have them. (I saw it on the sign outside.) So I bought bottled beer instead, and paid more. When I received my check, I was told they don't accept American Express. No sign, no mention of this. I would not have eaten here if I'd have known. Buyer beware, lousy food & poor service, but the ambience is nice!

Small town restaurant with big time flavors!! Double stacked…read moreburgers with clever topping combinations that'll make you want to try each and every one. Located in downtown Irwin, the restaurant sits on a one way road with street parking. The storefront is darkened window with large logo stickers, but what it seems like this place is still well known by the community, as they already had three tables sat within 3 minutes of opening. I ordered takeout and grabbed a seat with the 15 minute wait time! The interior is intoxicating. With the flat top right in the dining area, the fresh grilled bacon and burger patties perfumes the entire restaurant. The staff is phenomenal constantly checking on the customers and providing tips on the perfect combos. Right on time, my takeout was ready and I was out the door within 15 minutes. We ordered: - The Sneeder - two patties with caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, and onion jam, this was a filling burger!!! I loved that the burger was left open for takeout to ensure that the toppings didn't wilt during transport. An epic bun too! Soft, buttery, and pillowy! - Jaxson's Bacon - two patties with bacon strips sandwiched in between and a slather of BurgherB Sauce. The ooey gooey factor of this burger made it divine!! Both burgers came with fries. The fresh cut shoestring fries were crispy and well salted. Apparently, if you dine in, you get unlimited fry refills. That alone would be dangerous! I definitely will be back for more burgers. The Eilenburger with Grilled Pineapple and Aloha Mayo. The Mitchell with Pastrami and Swiss. The Caruso with Balsamic Glaze, Mozzarella, and Pesto Mayo. I'll tell you what creativity will bring customers in and back again.
