Nick Martin was referred to me from an inspector during the sale of my house. He was to clear the roots from my sewer line. This man had another worker work on my line while we conveniently stayed inside the house. I was told that the other worker attempted to camera the pipe and found it broken, completely mud and impossible to camera, therefore the whole line needed to be replaced. They quoted me $6,700. After a second opinion, it was found my sewer line was in almost perfect condition and no additional work was recommended. He stiffed me on my invoice after I paid him. I would give Nick Martin zero stars if it was possible. He is a scammer and stole money from my 90 year old grandmother. When my grandmother was home alone, Nick came to the house asking for the remainder of his money. Immediately after went to the bank and cashed the check and abandoned an unfinished site. I had water in my laundry room. He said he was going to put a camera down the line. He closed the door and spent 30 minutes in my laundry room. All sorts of noise. He comes in the house and says, you have roots, and misaligned pipe, and I'm going to have to tear up your back yard to fix everything. Quote is in the tens of thousands of dollars. I tell him I'm going to have to call my insurance and talk to them because this is obviously a big issue. He leaves as he says he has another job. Insurance requests a second opinion. Second and third opinion both say it's impossible for him to camera that line without tearing up the floor, because there is a p trap and no access. The job ended up being less than 5,000, and the line wasn't even in the yard, it went under the house. Would not recommend his services. I wouldn't even give him 1 star. read more

Nick Martin was referred by another plumber who I called but was out of town at the time. At a rental property, I had the kitchen sink back up on both sides, and there was dripping coming from the disposal. Also had a slow sink drain in the bathroom. Nick came over, said it was the disposal, charged me 350 to fix, and he would snake the sink drain. Turns out my tenant mentioned to me 3 weeks later he never came back to fix the bathroom sink like he said he would in 2 days, and while he did install the disposal, the sink continued to back up (so this must not have been the problem). Tenant informed me she paid another plumber out of pocket to fix the kitchen sink so as to not bother me. When I found out he hadn't even returned to fix the bath sink, I called him. First he said it needed a new popup assembly, which I knew was wrong because it was brand new. When I challenged that and asked if he snaked that drain line he said he had, but that the tenant was supposed to set up a time with him to come back (this is BS, because he texted me that first night that he had already done this with the tenant). When I challenged him on that, he then said he just needed to return to put a lock nut on that had been cracked, and he would be there that night. Of course, he never showed up. In between issues on this house, I had him come snake a sewer line on another property. He told me right away I would need a new sewer line (hadn't scoped it yet, but small roots came back with the snake). 5500. The next day he showed up with some other plumber who attempted to scope the drain but claimed he couldn't get more than a couple feet from the cleanout with his scope. Yet, they charged me for a scope, line cleaning, and also 2 P-trap installs that Nick noticed had not been installed. I ok'd the install before I knew I was being scammed, and both of those P-traps were leaking the next day. Thank God I got a second opinion on my sewer line because come to find out after it was scoped by another plumber, he said I had some roots and would probably need a line in the future but definitely not now. He cleaned out the line and said it would be good for a couple years until I would probably need another cleaning. Nick Martin tried to use scare tactics with me. He tried to tell me my tenants told him they were going to leave if the sewer line backed up again (to which I asked the tenants and they said absolutely not), and told me the line wouldn't last another day. This company did some charity for my neighbor behind me and in the process tore down my cyclone fence, my privacy fence and left huge hole in my back yard. They did this without a permit and said they aren't fixing the fences. How many addresses does this company have? read more
