My now husband and I had the privilege of having our wedding here 9/14/24. It's an absolutely…read morebeautiful and stunning venue. It's the first and last venue we looked at; I knew immediately I wanted to marry the love of my life here. The entire staff is top tier; they pay attention to detail and make sure everything is perfect for your big day. The owners are the sweetest and purest people I've met. Marilyn and her daughter-in-law Mary made the process easy as heck for us. Sarah and Lisa were our day of coordinators and they were beyond amazing all day and night. They're all genuine people who love love, as most people do. If I could get married here every year, I would do it in a heartbeat. We're blessed by God to have met the people of Akron Acres who gave us a pinterest perfect wedding day.

Everything I was looking for in fall activities!!…read more I came across this place on Yelp, through suggestions of friends looking for a place to pick pumpkins straight from the patch. It's one of the activities I enjoy doing most in the fall, and have grown disappointed with other farms as the years went by and their popularity skyrocketed. This place is fairly under the radar - a bit of a drive even past the attractions in Clarence, but I've grown to love Akron lately and so I (of course) didn't mind making the journey. In fact, I loved this place so much that I brought my family back here the very next day. Akron Acres is a part of the Kelkenberg farm family. I haven't been to their namesake farm, but if it's anything like Akron Acres I'm sure I would have an absolutely amazing time. Activities here during their fall season included a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, and things like pony rides for the kids. The hayride is $12 and you're allowed to pick any pumpkin you want from the patch (even the biggest one you can't carry) - they also had combo ticket prices if you wanted to participate in some of the other activities here. Sadly we went during a wet and rainy weekend, so I had to miss out on the corn maze BUT the farm animals 10000% made up for my FOMO. Oh yes, there are dozens of farm animals roaming about! Most notably, we saw ponies, a large draft horse (not sure what breed they are? but they are HUGE), pigs, sheep, turkeys, chickens, and of course GOATS. There were also BABY GOATS and they were absolutely ADORABLE, one of them tried to eat my clothes. Made my life complete. You can also buy an assortment of other things while you're here, not just tickets for fun activities! They sell pumpkins and gourds if you don't feel like going out to the patch - they also have Indian corn and corn stalks, hay, among other things. There's a food stand that sells kettle corn, maple cotton candy, and candy apples. You can also shop a super cute country store here, with all sorts of goodies - I ended up buying a delicious smelling candle that they were burning in the store while I was there. Needless to say, there's a ton of really fun things to do while you're here, both for kids and adults. It's a bit less well known than some of the other pumpkin places in WNY, which is why I ended up liking it so much. Both days we went, it was pleasantly busy but not overly crowded. There is also "The Gathering Barn," which is where weddings are hosted - and from the pictures I've seen online, it sounds beautiful! All in all, we had such an amazing experience here that we're going to be back in November for their Christmas trees! Can't wait to return!!

We worked with Trish at Kitchen World as part of our project to remodel our kitchen and first floor…read morebath. It was an outstanding experience. Trish met with us in our home to see the space and hear our vision. She designed a layout that was realistic for our budget and still met our expectations for the updated space. She helped us throughout the entire process and was very patient even while explaining the differences in options since this was our first remodel experience. Trish also connected us with a contractor who was already a KW installer and had familiarity with the pieces. The entire process was so smooth and the entire project finished on time, on budget, and exactly what we envisioned. It has been almost 5 months and we absolutely love our updated kitchen! Huge thanks to Trish and Shoulda Called Vince for the amazing work.

After obtaining estimates for painting and resurfacing the cabinets in my dated kitchen, I decided…read moreto get pricing for brand new - and am glad I did. My designer, Trish, was extremely detail oriented, helping guide me to a kitchen of my dreams. The installer, Josh, was respectful of my property, courteous and highly motivated to do an outstanding job from cabinet installation to precision tile work. It was easy to see that both these individuals took pride in their work. While the thumbprint of my kitchen did not change, it's still a galley kitchen- but now not only is it more functional- it's beautiful as well!

This is a great little market for this area!…read more It's a country store, filled with everything you'd think you'd be able to find at a country store: jams and jellies, syrup, pretzles, snack candies, you name it! I noticed they had a lot of local makers' products here, plus some Amish goods from out of state. I really liked that they had gifts here as well, like baskets and goat milk soaps. The women running the store at the time were incredibly friendly, offering to help me out if I needed it, and just generally making my experience pleasant. I'm definitely going to keep this place in mind next time I'm in Akron!

In the back of the store you will find oodles of country made jam, jellies, pickles, salsas, relish, milk/eggnog in glass jugs, bulk candy selection and more! You really have to take the time to discover what's hidden on shelves and products at different eye levels. Locally hand crafted products located in front of store, from crocheted Christmas tree hats, tie dyed socks, key chains, goats milk soaps, Ext. Also in front of store you can buy loads of Perry's ice cream apparel, key chains, Akron tigers apparel and more! They have a book shelf, teas, coffee, game boards for sale. If your looking for a quick small country atmosphere to shop around in, you've found it! The only hiccup I had was no warm welcome or welcome at all. Was just surprised for a small town store. Once I noticed Oreo behind the counter sleeping on his bed, I struck up a conversation. When you head on over for the seasonal (strawberry Christmas jam or sugar free fruit jams) or Perry's ice cream apparel/fun gift ideas for Perry's lovers, be sure to ask if Oreos working, only if you are a fur baby lover like I!
