What really impressed me was Isidro's creativity. When he removed the old bricks to put in a rock path for us, he suggested using the bricks in front of our shed. It was an excellent idea and it looks great the way he arranged the bricks. He maintained excellent communication and always showed up on time. I was so impressed that I told my neighbor about him and she loved him too! Not only did Isidro do great work at a great price, he was friendly and respectful. I highly recommend Jimenez landscaping. I attached a few pictures of some of the work Isidro did to clean up and landscape our backyard. He helped me achieve the quaint, peaceful space I was looking for.

Customer Service: Isidro was very friendly and easy to work with! When I first contacted him for an estimate he responded right away and was able to come out to the house very quickly. He and his staff took some measurements and we talked about what work I wanted done. He gave me a reasonable estimate later that day, which I felt was a good price compared to a few other estimates I got. Isidro came out a second time for a free consultation. I had a hard time envisioning the design over the phone, so he offered to come out and show me in person. Again, he promptly came to my house with spray markers and helped me visualize the work he was going to do. He has a good design sense and suggested adding the sand pathway, which I hadn't even thought of, but loved when he brought it up. Isidro also beautifully incorporated some existing garden objects that was left by the previous owner (nice big rocks and other garden decor). As I could not be at the home during his work, he sent me pictures and videos of his progress throughout the week and constantly checked in to make sure I liked it. Isidro is very kind and respectful and I hope to be able to call on him for more projects next year. The pictures I added don't do it justice - it looks beautiful in person! Thank you Isidro!

After reading other…read morereviews and meeting with him (and four other contractors) we chose HF Gardening to help us renovate our green spaces. Alex spent the most time reviewing our vision, giving us helpful ideas and consulting with my husband during the initial meeting versus the other competing vendors. He was knowledgeable about what native plants we could utilize to liven up our space, and what would survive and thrive in which sun spots. He understood our inspiration and worked with the style of our home to create a Mediterranean-inspired haven for our family. After agreeing to his bid, which was the best price (bonus!) we scheduled the work days and the crew was friendly, super hard working and left everything incredibly clean at the end of each day. Alex guided us through the process, explaining what would be done and in what order; when we added work items, he was gracious and patient with our additions. The pictures below show before and after, but they don't capture just how much our family is now enjoying our gorgeous new outdoor space. We love to spend time together in the backyard, and constantly marvel at HF Gardening's lasting craftsmanship and hard work that transformed our back and front yards. We have gotten tons of compliments and recommend them whenever we get the chance. Loved working with Alex and his crew and will 100% hire them in the future!

We called a number of businesses whose response was, "We don't do that small a job." However, when we called Chris, he immediately set up an appointment. He was a few minutes early for our appointment, and he listened intently to what we were planning. He waited until we had said our piece and then asked if he could give some suggestions, which were great. He confessed that his team was working on another large job in the Sacramento area, so we knew our project wouldn't be immediate. He gave us a VERY reasonable quote, so we said, "Let's go." In less than three weeks, Chris and his team were at our door, right on time! We reviewed the project, and his team went to work. These men were fantastic, working in the growing summer heat until the project was completed. Chris made sure we knew that we could call him with any questions we had.

Thanks to a recommendation from some friends of ours, we got in contact with Jose. While he is quite the busy man, he makes the time to take care of his customers. We originally just wanted the backyard to have irrigation, drainage, planter boxes, and grass. Though, the pool company basically destroyed our front yard and Jose was quick to offer his assistance at planning out how we could bring back the curb appeal. One of the best things about Jose and his team is that they focus on one project at a time. We had to book him several months out, but from dig to done he completely transformed our entire property in one week. That even included an unexpected additional drainage project that he was able to identify quickly and work with us to stay as close to our original budget as possible. Though, I have to say that the most impressive thing that Jose was able to do didn't even happen until the projects were done. Due to a pressure issue our backyard sod was struggling to root. He checked on us daily asking for pictures, and once he discovered the issue he fixed it and literally replaced our entire back lawn by himself because he wasn't satisfied at how it was growing it. Here's the deal, the yard was bouncing back and starting to look a lot better, but his dedication to perfection and customer service drove him to do what was right and completely re-sod the area. Five stars to Jose Elegante Landscapes. He'll exceed your expectations!
