I bought several windows and they always did a great job, communication was good, instal was smooth.

Really appreciate the service & quick turn-around. I wanted a glass top for my credenza, instead of having to bring my furniture in, I was able to outline it on a large piece of paper & drop it off. It came out perfect. And reasonably priced. I'll def be using this service again. read more

I wanted to give my business to a small business plus I used Martinez Glass years ago. I left a message twice last week and have not received a return call and it's been over a week. I called another small business and they were very responsive. read more

Awesome folks. I called for an estimate on Tuesday, Josh was able to come in half an hour later to take a look at our cracked front window. He took his measurements for the estimate and even managed to slide open a window that no one could slide open previously (my uncle tried, my husband tried, and our security install guy tried ... no dice!). Josh got back to me later in the afternoon to give me the estimate and set us up for Wednesday. When our glass failed to be delivered to their office, he gave me a call immediately to re-schedule and apologized. He sent out two nice guys at 8:45 a.m. the next morning and they were in and out of here in about an hour. The glass looks perfect and they threw in the 10% yelp discount to bring the total down to $275 for a window that was about 28x56 inches (1/2" depth). Great local, family-run business. I had high hopes based on positive reviews, and they were friendly when I spoke to them - Josh came and did measurements to provide me with an estimate for replacement windows. He was very nice and I looked forward to the results. I received the initial estimate within a reasonable time frame (considering I'm not in a hurry) It wasn't as detailed as others I'd gotten, but that was alright - but then I wanted another estimate with a different brand of window, for comparison with what I'd received from another company. Then the wait began... and my emailing a friendly reminder to get back to me... to which I was told they would... and then never heard anything... so I sent another, with the same response... and heard nothing... so ANOTHER email from me asking them to please get me the estimate (how hard could it be, really?!)... I was told I'd be gotten back to later that day... and then silence. Nothing. I really tried to give benefit of the doubt, but this lack of response and service is ridiculously unprofessional. And looking at other less favourable reviews, the lack of respect for customers seems to be a theme. These folks would do well to learn how to be more attentive and responsive, and live up to promises. Their prices seemed very competitive, and I was ready and eager to give my business to them - but I'd never do it now, with this sort of unreliability. Sorry, guys. You messed up. As a side note - when I'd first contacted them about a year ago to even GET an estimate, no one ever called me back. I should have taken that as an omen of things to come. read more

Highly recommend doing business with these guys! They are polite, helpful and they do great work. I had my back sliding glass door shatter completely when some crooks threw a rock through it replaced by Martinez and Sons Glass. They were quick to respond, understood the urgency of my situation and sensitive to the time. They got the job done right, the way they said they would, in the time they said they would, and at the price they said they would. Great business people. read more

We went with this company thanks to Yelp reviews and were happy with the service. We had to replace a front window after breaking it one evening (I won't EVEN go into the story of how it broke in the first place). My husband called the next morning and they gave us a quote based on the size we measured. We were told someone would be at our house that afternoon between 3:00 and 3:15pm. Unfortunately, after waiting for someone to show, we called them back at 4:30pm to let them know nobody showed. They apologized and sent someone over within 30 minutes. This was the only downfall. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, though. I'm sure there was some mishap in the scheduling. Nevertheless, they came. The man who showed up (I think his name was Tim? Or Tom?) said he was a friend of the family. He was extremely friendly and efficient. He came into the house to make sure the window pieces were cleaned up as much as possible. I think he was thrown into the job last minute, because he didn't have an invoice for us. Instead, he said the boss would be calling us the next morning as he left us with a newly installed window. I really like how he trusted us with the payment. Sure enough, the boss called and we paid our bill. The total came out to be exactly within the price range we were originally quoted. Support local, family-owned businesses! I would definitely recommend Martinez and Sons Glass for future glass work!!! read more

At 9:50, I got a phone call from the office to say the estimator was running late. This was not new information to me, since the appointment was for 9 a.m., and I had re-arranged my work schedule, dropped my daughter off at school a half-hour earlier than she needed to be there, and hurried home to make sure I didn't miss him. I understand it's a service business and that delays happen. But the fact is, you have to make the "he's running late" call while the customer can still do something with the information. By calling me when the guy already was 50 minutes late and no with no real certainty of when he would arrive, Martinez left me with no realistic options. The good news, I guess, is that the estimator got back on schedule pretty quick, since I was no longer able to wait for him. If this were 1979, you could understand that a service guy might get tied up on a longer-than-expected call and be unable to notify the next customer or the office. But in the days of smart phones, there really isn't a legitimate excuse for not notifying the customer that his 9 a.m. appointment isn't going to happen until after 10. This is really disappointing, because the reviews seem to indicate these are nice people who do good work. When all is said and done, though, it's hard to put your trust in a company that makes this kind of first impression. If my business bungled an appointment like this, I'd be on the phone asking for another chance, at the customer's convenience. I waited a day before posting this, pretty sure someone would call me to reschedule or at least express some recognition that this was not their usual standard of communication. That didn't happen, so I'm now looking elsewhere for window work and/or replacement. read more

On time. Friendly. Polite. Great work. What more can you ask? I had an interior door glass that needed repair. Josh Martinez was on time and measured. He consulted about whether to replace the remaining door's glass (untempered) and I took his recommendation. Within a week, two nice guys came and replaced the two panes. They were on time - even calling ahead to say when in their "time window" they'd be here. I'm thrilled. AND I got the Yelp discount without a reminder. THANKS Martinez Glass! read more

These guys are top notch. Friendly, prompt, and do great work. I called them about replacing a broken window, a few fogged up dual pane windows, and several screens. Josh was out the next day to look the windows over and give me my options. I had an estimate from him that afternoon and my windows were ready the following day. Price wise they were very fair. I'd even go so far as to say that they may even be hard to beat. Their installers showed up on time. They were friendly and took great care to not damage anything or make a mess around my house. They did a great job installing the windows and cleaned up after themselves. My windows look great. I'll definitely use these guys again. Thanks Martinez & Sons. read more

I'm the owner of Americana Rare Coin here in Sacramento. A few months ago, in a time crunch, I contacted Martinez Glass to get glass for my showcases. They not only beat every price that I could find, but came through on the timing. All of their staff was courteous and professional. I would recommend them to anyone wanting glass work done. A huge thank you from Steve at ARC! read more

During a home inspection, I learned that one of my windows had a crack in it and the buyers wanted it fixed. I turned to Yelp and called a few local glass companies including Martinez Glass. They were actually the first one I called to get a quote. After I got my quote from an employee, I told him I was going to call other places to get quotes to compare too. He asked me for my name so he could save my info in case I called back which I thought was odd but I think he knew I would be calling back. I called a few more places and the prices were in the same ballpark but Martinez Glass said they could do it quick and the guy on the phone sounded very professional and knowledgeable so I called them back to book them. They came on Monday morning, got the measurements, ordered the glass, came back on Wednesday morning and did the install. The quote was dead on and the service was quick and efficient. I would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

This company is the best! When I called, it was not a receptionist I spoke to, but Josh who is very knowledgeable. I immediately gave the window measurements. He asked me what type of glass it was. I was given a quote, and since I thought it was very reasonable, I inquired about the other non-urgent window on the patio. I brought in glass sample and the old frame from the patio window and was able to save even more money by not having them to come out to see the glass. They are located not in the boonies but very close to where I live, so it was easy for me to do during lunch. They came the next morning and both my windows are fixed and I feel whole again. Thanks a lot guys! read more

I was very pleased with the service I received from this company. They came out when they said they would to give an estimate to replace my two sliding glass doors. The man who came to do the work was very knowledgeable and completed the work in under an hour. When I called a few weeks later to say one of the doors was dragging when I closed it, they said they had a cancellation that day and sent someone out. It was the same man who installed the doors and he took the door out and determined the rollers and gone bad. He gave me the price and good counsel on my options. The rollers were bad because of the age of the door, not any thing the installer had done. read more

Fantastic Service! Left them a message sunday, got a phone call, a in person visit, and an estimate all before 10 am Monday. They came back a few hours later to install, and everything was painless and smooth! Everyone else told me they needed up to three days, minimum. Completely impressed with their service read more

They fixed a broken window on my front porch. Reasonable rates, a great repair job, and excellent customer service. Recommended!

I recently had a window that cracked and contacted Martinez and Son's. Josh from their office came out to do an estimate. While inspecting the window he asked me how old my home was. I told him only 5 years old. He told me there was a possibility that the window may still be under warranty. I took his advice and I contacted the manufacturer and they will do a full replacement at no charge. Mr Martinez' honesty and character says alot. He could have not told me this and proceeded to offer to do the work and charge me. Just this alone tells me they are company I would recommend to friends and family, as well as use myself. I haven't even officially ordered a new shower door through them yet but I feel the need to write a review strictly on their customer service. They gave a quick quote over the phone, sent someone over the next day to do a free estimate. Had someone out to fix it 2 days later even though it was 4th of July week. Everyone that I dealt with was so nice and polite. The estimate was even cheaper than the quote. They made it such an a smooth and easy process and the people made it even better. Thanks so much Martinez Glass! Definitely would work with them again in the future for all my window needs. read more

Two of the dual pane windows to my rental property was not staying open and needed some attention. I tried calling a few "handyman" businesses from Yelp and they kept referring me to a window installer. Each window installer I contacted, would then refer me back to a "handyman". Tired of the runaround, I called Martinez Glass, left a message, and hoped for the best. Not only did they call me back in a timely manner, but they also accepted the job. Upon inspection later that week, they found that the windows simply needed an adjustment and completed it right then and there- lowering the initial estimate in the process. Now my tenants are happy which in turn makes me happy. These are my new "go to" guys if I ever need any window issues addressed to any of my personal or rental properties. read more

I waited too long to write this review, so I forgot the names of the two technicians who removed the old window and installed the new one. :( They were very friendly, polite, and respectful of my space; I really appreciate these kinds of people in this industry. Martinez Glass is really quick and responsive. We called them on Thursday afternoon, came and did a quote. The very next day two of their employees Ray and Josh came and fix the windows within 1-2 hours! Everyone was so nice and friendly. After calling another glass service company that was very rude I decided to shop around. The staff at Martinez right from the start was very nice and professional. Very fast installation. I don't know what is going on here - if there is a new owner or not, but never have we had such unprofessional service by a company. My husband initially placed an order here because of the good yelp reviews that I had read on yelp. He ordered some frosted glass and they said it would be in Monday and they would call - Monday came and went, tuesday, etc.. He finally went there and the order was not ready - the guy said it would be ready in an hour. When he went back it was ready but was the wrong type of glass! My husband called back the next day only to get no one answering the phone. That was the last straw - we will take out business elsewhere! read more

Called Martinez about a week and a half ago for repair or replacement of a window on one of my units. I had not used Martinez before so since I have some larger widow replacement projects coming up so I thought I'd feel them out on a smaller job. After a few days they came out and did an estimate for me. The estimator was courteous and said he'd be in touch as I told him I needed to get the window done soon and am ready to move forward. It's been over a week and a half and I have still not heard back from them! I left 2 message and have yet to get even a call back as they do not have anyone answering their phones. This is not consistent with the reviews I read (which led me to choose them). I would not recommend these guys as they do not seem to be very professional read more
