Sergio was very busy but was able to come out on a Sunday to look at the project and then sent a bid through email. I found his price to be very competitive and he understood the work we needed done. He and his crew came out and did the project in 1 day. It was a small project so it was done in 1 day, we paid at the end of the day after the project was done. They hauled and disposed of the old concrete matter. The crew was well mannered. They cleaned up the area well when they finished the project. We were happy with the work and we do recommend him.

Sergio came our, quoted the job and told us about his business and after comparing the quotes we realized that Sergios was very competitive. So we hired him and his team. They came out and in one day did all the concrete work that we needed by concreting, where two stalls were in our barn, concreted, the lean too attached to our barn for us to store our tractor and also put in a concrete pad for a propane tank. Sergio was very communicative. He understood what we wanted. His crew was respectful of our property and cleaned up after themselves. After they completed the job, Sergio hauled away the old concrete that they had to tear out. I will definitely refer him to anybody that I know. And we will use him again in the future.

My mom got her fence redone by them and it was a messy experience the entire way. She was told it would only take about 2-3 days total, and it ended up two weeks. The first day they came and removed all fencing, dumped concrete mix on the driveway and left. They even asked her for safety glasses and equipment. They did not show up the next day, and she had to cover the mix on the driveway with her own tarp (because potential rain). She called him to check on the reason why her yard was left a mess with all of the wood taken down, he said he couldn't locate his crew. Finally he sent another crew out, they finished and he demanded quick payment. She called him back to look at the portion of the fence that most guests see as they enjoy her porch, it was uneven, splintering, and more. He was extremely disrespectful, walked off, and made rude comments saying he knew that this would happen and that it was not going to be fixed, it would last. So please don't go into business with this company. It is not worth your money.

About 3 years ago I hired Spurlock to replace my complete drive way. Within a week I had to call him advising that the drive way is cracking in several places. He said that it is the dry weather we were having and there is nothing that he could do about it. Today the drive way has cracks all over it and the wooden spacers are rotting and coming up. My old drive way looked as good or even better and I would have been $8000 + ahead. In the last 10 month I had another company look at it for repairs of the spacers and cracks. They informed me that the only thing they would suggest is to tear out and start over. Buyers Beware! Thanks a lot Mr. Spurlock.

From top to bottom, these guys are amazing…read more I'd received a pretty obnoxious quote for a covered patio and kitchen so did a little bit of price shopping. Of the 6 quotes I got, Jacob at Your Texas Patio blew them all away (he beat the obnoxious one by nearly $50,000 for basically the exact same project). I generally don't go for the cheapest option, but after the initial conversations he had me convinced that he knew what he was doing. So, I dove right in. As soon as they had the go ahead, work was underway. Angel led the way on the construction end and was out there every day (often including the weekends) doing everything from tearing out the side of the house to connect the structure, putting down posts, framing the roof, painting, etc. A real construction stud. In no time the project was complete and I'm extremely happy with the finished project (which beat our target date by about 2 weeks). Sure, there were some snags along the way. I had some plumbing issues that needed to be addressed (1960s house with original sewage lines), a sprinkler than was inadvertently damaged and the need to run a gas line from the other side of the house. Jacob fixed anything that needed to be fixed immediately, and if there was something outside the scope of the project he had someone out there for me to consult with on the same day (I couldn't even get my longtime plumber or audio guys out within two weeks). If I had a tweak to design or a minor addition, it was done. If I had questions on the project at 11pm after a few whiskeys or on a weekend at 7am on my way to a soccer game, it was answered. Sure, he looks like a kid, but he knows what he's doing. I'll be using them on my next projects and you probably should, too.

The price of the concrete was a fair price but I decided to go with another company because of the time frame I needed. Perhaps next project I can use this company.
