They came out and in one day did all the concrete work that we needed by concreting, where two stalls were in our barn, concreted, the lean too attached to our barn for us to store our tractor and also put in a concrete pad for a propane tank. The first day they came and removed all fencing, dumped concrete mix on the driveway and left. They even asked her for safety glasses and equipment. They did not show up the next day, and she had to cover the mix on the driveway with her own tarp (because potential rain). She called him to check on the reason why her yard was left a mess with all of the wood taken down, he said he couldn't locate his crew. Finally he sent another crew out, they finished and he demanded quick payment. She called him back to look at the portion of the fence that most guests see as they enjoy her porch, it was uneven, splintering, and more. He was extremely disrespectful, walked off, and made rude comments saying he knew that this would happen and that it was not going to be fixed, it would last. About 3 years ago I hired Spurlock to replace my complete drive way. Within a week I had to call him advising that the drive way is cracking in several places. He said that it is the dry weather we were having and there is nothing that he could do about it. Today the drive way has cracks all over it and the wooden spacers are rotting and coming up. My old drive way looked as good or even better and I would have been $8000 + ahead. In the last 10 month I had another company look at it for repairs of the spacers and cracks.
