Fast forward one year and I Open my front door to Actually watch a huge portion of the trees fall right in front of my face and had I've been one second earlier I would not be here today. I called David's tree service back after this incident and they stated they would have him come out a week later and that was this past Tuesday. I received a phone call after the time they were supposed to be there and I am told that he is not going to make it due to the weather and that he would not be available for another week I expressed my frustration and concern because there is still rotten branches obviously in the air in the street above my home and I am told she will speak to him and get right back to me and I have yet to receive a phone call back.

The first invoice listed the company as Arborist Company, and we were asked to make the check payable to Jason Cole, whom we never met. Later, we scheduled a pine tree removal for November 2025. We paid a deposit of $354. They attempted the job in February 2026 but arrived without the right tools and did not complete the work. After that, they did not come back, did not respond to messages or texts, and did not return our deposit. Because the tree was never removed, a high wind in March broke part of it, and a limb damaged our fence. The second invoice listed the company as Houston Tree Doctors. Based on our experience, I would not recommend paying a deposit unless you are very confident the work will be completed.
