The bathrooms were clean and nice but you do have to walk through a staff area to get to them. I found some really great pieces here! Some Value Village tips- think carefully about which day to come. Mondays and Thursdays have 25% off sales but they are busy. Weekends are busy too. You can always get a 20% off coupon if you donate. Also, since there are no changing rooms wear something close fitting so you can try on clothes over what you're wearing.

Really, look at my other reviews. Bottom line -- if you want real variety in men's suits, I haven't found any place better yet. They have mediocre art priced as high as $89.99. They treat the art like it is junk; it is crammed on the shelves and it is stacked haphazardly on the floor. The bric-a-brac is not much better. While they offer a diverse array of tchotchkes they too are exorbitantly overpriced and they are crammed together on the shelves, and have a junky appearance. I commiserated with a customer who wanted to buy a small night light with Blessed mother and the Christ child. it was made in China and I would estimate the value to be around $5; they had it priced at $29.99. They were selling a small Willow tree angel for $14.99; you can get a new one at the Hallmark store in its box for that price or less. I also went into the aisle where they had random picture frames. The aisle was crammed with picture frames which were haphazardly arranged. visually it was unappealing and the art frames on the lower shelf were stacked in a way that they were inaccessible.So here is the dilemma; this is a junky thrift shop that is trying to pretend that it is a boutique and it is not happening. I am all in favor of supporting charity thrift stores but this store is unfairly pricing these donated goods such that the people who depend on thrift shopping to add special things or necessities cannot afford them. Just went back to the shop yesterday -- here are some updates!…read more - The shop is open now on Sundays from 3-6 pm... and NOT open on Saturday from 12-3. Essentially its hours now are Thursday-Sunday 3-6 pm. Even if the door is locked, just knock and the shopkeeper will let you in. - The owner (Sylvia) is going to start transitioning the clothes to the spring season... coming in a couple of weeks or so! - On that note, the shop's strong suit are the accessories -- lots of nice cocktail hats/handbags/jewelry. Examine closely, because pretty much everything in there's for sale. - Starting next week she's going to start making prices static. Yeah, no more haggling, but at least it will be a lot less pressure for those who are uncomfortable with negotiating. In conjunction, some of the prices of the clothing will be adjusted... so maybe that amazing paillette jacket will be cheaper now? Also, I've learned something recently, having become acquainted with the owner. Y'know how it might be kind of intimidating/irritating when the shopkeeper tries to talk to you/make comments about what you're browsing? Well, I always found it that way. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The prices at this store reminded me of my good decision to stop donating to thrift stores. I have now started donating ONLY to centers and facilities that TRULY help their communities, and therefore ALL of the items that I donate are free to their customers. The organizations that I now donate to are strictly geared towards helping true low income and less fortunate. The prices at the store are the prices that you would find in regular store AND intentional high priced stores. This store receives donations FOR FREE, AT NO COST TO THEM, AND YET THEIR PRICES ARE MERELY A DISHONEST RACKET. It was very disappointing to see that this store is obviously run by persons who seek to profit excessively and exceedingly from the kindness and generosity of others. I should NEVER see art work at any thrift store for $129.00 that is not the authentic art work of Picasso. I should NEVER see a water jug for $124.00 , even a large one.
