Adorable little hole in the wall bakery in Van Nuys. It's in the corner of a strip mall so free parking out front of you can find it! Vince helped my friend and I and was very gracious and helpful. Obviously, bilingual! I came home with a dozen goodies of all different kinds and everything was delightful. If you have the chance to go, please check out Martha's. Worth it!

Very delicious pan dulces and fresh bolillos. The staff was very nice and friendly as well. The bolillos are 3 for $1. The pan dulce ranges in price. In total I spent a little over $6 for 6 bolillos and a bag of random pan dulces. This bakery is so affordable and their pastries are yum.

Easy peasy panaderia! Martha's Bakery is a local spot many enjoy! I've been here when the line has been out the door many times. Come for the pan, jugo y postres! Stay for the warm service and friendliness. It's pretty classic goodies - I typically purchase things for others as I'm vegan and can't enjoy most of the rich creamy treats here though they do have some fresh bread that I've been suerte de comer. Definitely a gem of gems in the SFV beat as others have expressed. It's small inside but spacious - they do bake cakes. Be very careful when purchasing here if you want fresh bread. The last two times my husband and I have bought here. We get so disappointed when we get home. Bc half of our bread is nice and soft fresh of the day. And half stiff possibly yesterday's bread. It's very frustrating to get home and want every single kid to have the same experience with what they're about to eat. Even myself. If you ask me. I'd go in and ask to give you (today's bread) to make sure it's fresh. read more

I am not from the area but I found this gem of a bakery. I went in to possibly buy 5 dozen bolio rolls. They had them and they were fresh and delicious. I also brought the jalapeno and cheese rolls, equally delicious. The lady that helped me was very nice and helpful. The place was in the corner of the strip stores so look for it if you want good bread! Thank you read more

I have been coming to this bakery ever since I can remember and they always provide me with fresh bread. They provide quality bread and they have excellent customer service. The workers are very humble and they are always ready to help. They also have drinks and have many pastries to choose from. p.s Bolio's dipped in hot chocolate during the winter are always great. read more

I drive all the way from Granada Hills just for some pan dulce. Lol this is my favorite panadería hands down. I used to live in Van Nuys but moved to Granada and I've looked for other panaderías around where I live now and nothing compares. And the people are super friendly. Best pan dulce in the valley? For me, yes! read more

I honestly I will never recommend this place Customer service sucks there was an old lady trying to hurry the customer instead of helping them they don't know if they're been there for the first time on my experience it was my first time there instead of helping me The old lady was trying to hurry me up I had to pick whatever I don't have a choice I just grab whatever I see I couldn't get the chance to choose what kind of bread I want customer service is really really really bad no shame read more

The owner, Ms. Martha herself, is very rude and cranky. She can be extremely aggressive and downright insulting if she's in one of her moods. Maybe it's her age, but that's definitely no way to act when it's your own business you're representing and when you're interacting with patrons who are supporting your business. The pan dulce itself is nothing special. I've had much better conchas at other bakeries in the nearby area. I feel like it's because the next nearest bakery is in the same plaza as the Jon's that a lot of my fellow Van Nuys residents put up with this mediocre bakery. read more

It's been a while since I shopped at this bakery. And today , so disappointed ! :-/ disappointed by the quality of the bread. Their "conchas" are now so light and hollow on the inside, feels like you're biting on paper lol. No lie !!! Bolillos too. Great little place. They have much better tasting tamales at lower prices than anywhere else in the area. Everything is fresh and the owners are bilingual. Worth checking out if you want cheap sweet bread, tamales, tortas, and they even have flan and other desserts! This is also the only place that I know of that carries the larger Guatamalen/Peruvian style tamales wrapped in banana leaves in addition to the regular ones. read more

Late post. My husband and I went to this bakery yesterday around 8:30pm. There was a long line. Thankfully, people got their order fast and were on their way. The only man I saw working there was very nice, patient and welcoming. The pastries are very delicious, fresh and there's a large variety of sweat bread. I live in Glendale and I have to say I will drive to this place. The prices are awesome. I spent 10 dollars worth of bread and got over 10 pastries. I heard of this place by a Friend, they say they are happy with the location because it's well maintained, sanitized, and decent. I couldn't agree more. The navigation system took us directly to this place without issues. It is semi hidden in plaza so, keep an eye out. I wish this place nothing but, success. I hope they continue to provide sweet bread for a reasonable price. read more

I came to Martha's bakery because a customer of mine recommended it. He said the bread is so soft and sweet it melts in your mouth. After he said that, I had to check it out. I went in Sunday morning around 9 am. The line went fast. Each bread is a different price and very reason able. I got about a dozen of mix sweet bread and 6 Bolios. The total was $8.50! I was like what a bargain. When I tasted one of my many breads I was so glad i checked them out. I had my bread with some coffee and it was to die for. I am definitely coming back here. The staff is very friendly and nice. read more

One of my favorite Mexican Bakeries! They have a variety of breads... they are all DELICIOUS!! Oh and when it comes to special occasions their cakes are of the top. I love their 3 leches cake, their chocolate mocha, and their marble cakes.. YUMMMMM.. oh and their Rosca de Reyes is one of the best I've ever had! ..... For valentines day I've asked them to make me a heart shaped bread for my father, his favorite type of bread is the cuernito (croissant like bread) , Marthas Bakery has always made a large heart shaped bread made of the cuernito mix for me. Natas has a wide variety of pastries. I think the other items on the menu are more well received. I'll need to go back next time I am in town to try out some of other menu items.

I got the spinach cheese Borekas and it was honestly delicious. I liked it by itself best but enjoyed with the chili too I also got a mint iced tea barely sweetened and it was great! Really lovely service, ordered ahead for pick up. The only thing that was stressful was the parking lot, it was lunch time crowded so a little congested and stressful but that had nothing to do with my views here. Go!! It's worth it Honestly, sitting here wishing I had more.

I can't get enough of the sweet scent of fresh bread. We picked a few of our favorites and a couple new ones. We then ordered the Strawberry Matcha Latte and Mango Green Tea. Both came out quickly. They were so refreshing and so good! Interestingly, we found them more flavorful than the Santa Clarita location. The place is small, but it's kept clean and organized. Super friendly staff!

First, I had to actually ask for the magnet, otherwise I wouldn't have received it. Second, they only gave me one, because the magnet is per order, regardless of the total strawberry drinks. The employee did mention if I split the order I would've received 2 promotional magnets. I would say thats terrible marketing lol. The drinks were as expected but it just wasn't a customer friendly experience. Oh well.

We devoured the corona botany it was delicious, customer service was okay , the restaurant got busy on Sunday afternoon so we took that into consideration, however we did have to constantly ask for more water & many times the waitresses would ask if we needed anything but would walk away rapidly before we could answer lol . It was funny to us because we saw they started to get busy so we understood. 10/10 will recommend to all my friends Happy hour M-F 3-6pm

We would always come here for ponchiks and perashkis but due to the attitude from the worker not realizing that is my mom I am not spending another penny in this establishment and will make sure to tell all my family and friends to not come here as well. Word of advice you should always be careful who you open your mouth to when you want to give your harsh opinion to.

The service is friendly and they do a good job loading up your order with plenty of salsa and condiments. If you have never tried Birrieria San Marcos, you are missing out!

Overall, Victory Caffe is a solid breakfast spot that executes the classics well. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were satisfying, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly. I could definitely see myself stopping by again whenever I'm looking for a dependable breakfast in the area.
