I have been coming here for over 20 years but somehow I never wrote a review on it. This bakery is know for their daily fresh bread. They make matnakash, Barbari and other breads for our community. They also sell lavash, pita and pastries. I used to buy their raisins bread a lot, it's so good. I stopped since I started making them myself. I mostly shop here for breads or lahmajun and sometimes byoreks and perashki. The parking here at this plaza is horrible and customer service is a hit or a miss ever since I can remember. Dream Bakery is one of those rare gems you just fall in love with. Every time I walk in, I'm hit with the most comforting smell of fresh bread--it instantly feels like home. Their bouregs are perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the breads are always warm, soft, and just melt in your mouth. But the lehmajoons? Absolutely unreal. Great customer service and delicious lahmajoon! I went in on a Sunday and asked for 3 dozen and let the sweet lady at the front desk know I was there from Orange County and she got it all ready for me quickly! Honestly I was expecting to be told to wait or they couldn't do that big of an order without a heads up, but instead got my lahmajoon and bread and business card so I can call ahead next time! Dream bakery? More like nightmare bakery! I was ordering food and noticed a cockroach waiting in line behind me but that wasn't the biggest problem, none of the workers were wearing masks and while I was ordering the owner was staring at my chest and licking his lips, I had to repeat my order again and I felt so uncomfortable!!!! I noticed they don't change their gloves when touching food and handling money. I did not stay for my order I left and went to another bakery. I used to come here often for the lahmajun ( Armenian pizza) it's flat bread with ground beef or veggies. I have to say they dropped the quality but it is still ok.. They also make bread and pastries. The sweets are ok but the bread they can do better. I think too much yeast and it's very doughy which is also fattening. read more

I just tried Dreams Bakery for the first time because they are the only bakery that makes Gluten Free lahmajun and berags. They were great! Just like regular lamajuns. The dough on the lahmajuns was wonderful with just the right texture and the overall product was very delicious. The berags were very well made and delicious. I drove from Pasadena, past many Armenian bakeries, all the way to North hollywood for these delicacies, and it was well worth the drive, and now I will become a frequent customer. A UCLA study showed that over 50% of the population has some level of Gluten allergy (weather they know it or not) and thanks to Dreams Bakery for making it possible for those who cannot eat Gluten (wheat products) to now enjoy lahmajun, berag, etc. My wife, with a Gluten allergy, has been craving these things for years, and now only Dreams Bakery provides this service with very well made products. Today i left class wanting to get some lahmajoun. I was in the Noho area so i decided to yelp and see where was rated the best for lahmajoun. I can honestly say that no place tops off Arts Bakery in Glendale for their lahmajouns, ponchiks, etc. I found this place due to the ratings, and decided to stop by. First of all, its a small store. Not many options. I asked for lahmajoun and hoped it would be coming out of the back where its hot and fresh. Instead they had a few stacks refrigerated and gave them to me. I was like fine, ill just warm them up myself at home. I also asked for meat pirashki, which they didnt make, so i got potato. I saw that they also had Napelons, so i got a couple of those. Finally, to top it off, i grabbed two Puri breads and left. Heres my thoughts. Lahmajoun- Very dry, absolutely no meat, unless if it was like mixed in with the red sauce that was on top? Arts Bakery lahmajoun literally breaks apart from the juicy meat they put on top and they actually bake them on the spot instead of refrigerating them. Pirashki- Cold as well. No flavor. Havent found the right pirashki place yet. Napelons- HONESTLY, i cannot complain about them, they are so fresh and crispy, not wilted inside. However, i guess they use buttercream instead of whip cream/custard, so it has a very odd texture. Breads- Very fresh no complaints. I think today was not the right day to come in, however, the ladies were nice and the bread and napelon were great. So i might be back again. read more

They have the most delicious gata ever! I had tried their lahmajoun before and was a big fan of the bakery in general so it was natural that I would contact them for help with ordering some Armenian baked goods for UCLA's international food festival. I spoke to the owner and she was so incredibly sweet and helpful that I genuinely enjoyed working with her to coordinate food for the event. Not only was it fresh out of the oven when I went to pick it up, but the service at the counter was wonderful. I will definitely be using Dream Bakery for future events, and I highly recommend that you do too. Plus they're opening a second location so be on the lookout for that! read more

I have been coming here for years and this is THE BEST LEHMAJUN (Armenian version of pizza) and the owner is super super nice and has given me whole items to sample on occasion. The nicest owner I have ever met and this is authentic armenian food at it's best! I tell all my friends (and I am Italian...you know we generally have the pizza market covered... ). My sister in law is vegan... As u can imagine it's quite difficult to please her when it comes to food. I called in advance to put in an order for al the different types of vegan lahmajoons, I guess some refer to it as Armenian pizza. She absolutely loved them! The mushroom one and the spinach one redefine delicious with a squeeze of lemon! I cannot wait to try the rest of the vegan flavored next time. Best bakery in the Valley! I love their lahmajoun, both the meat and the vegetarian. I don't know of any other bakeries that make veggie lahmajouns. As someone who makes her own meat lahmajouns, this is the only other bakery I buy meat lahmajouns from.
