I'm currently standing here waiting for an order of 16 lamajunes. I've been here for 35 minutes waiting around. It took 15 min for them to finally ask me what I wanted to order. Now 15 minutes waiting for them to being out my order. I'm still waiting.... It's super hot in here and they have zero customer service, not even an acknowledgment when I walked in. A simple hello how are you would be better than then me just standing there for 15 min waiting for acknowledgment. What pisses me off is that I had to wait 20 min to order to find out that they don't have anything but lamajune. No cheese boraks or anything else other than jamajune. Why don't they tell people hey by the way you guys are standing around waiting but just wanna let you know we are out of a lot of items so people can know what they are doing. Shitty experience and I paid $40 bucks for 16 small ass lamajunes that are mid. Charging all this money they should have enough funds to add an air conditioning unit to the lobby cause it felt like an Asian sweat shop in there and the cooks were coming out the back with sweat dripping off their foreheads. I had a major sweet tooth. I looked up on Yelp and found this place and wanted to give them a try. Walked in on Saturday on the 28th of this month and didn't get a nice greeting/ welcome from anyone in the bakery. The woman was somewhat pleasant and the man was not. He didn't even acknowledge that I was there and needed help. Place is small and a lot of customers lined up. Since there is this high demand and hype about their lahmajune (Armenian Pizza), wanted to give it a try and see if it's worth buying. After barely finishing my one lahmajune that I got, I didn't like it. It was too greasy, but the quality of the meat was decent. I got a Fruit Tart from the bakery and 2 Mikados. Both were fresh and delicious! Ambiance of the store needs a good rub and renovation. It's old and attention must be paid!! Got my goodies and left. Prices are reasonable depending what you get. Parking is shared with multiple businesses; and I will stick to the bakeries that I know, like, and am familiar with!! read more

He says he'll give me what he has maybe 2 dozen. I get there 2:30, he says he has nothing to give me, but my entire order will take 20 minutes. I say wow, ok. Another source of great lahmajune in the Valley! I just found this place recently (January 2010) and love its lahmajune, which has a slightly different crust than most and it's great. Also tried some cheborege, which was wonderful. It's sort of like a beef pirozhki with a baggy, thinner pastry skin and the beef is also spiced differently. Damn good pirozhkis also. Very small bakery. They have high quality Armenian bread, one of the best in town. They also have the best Lahmajun I've ever had. It is amazing and we only buy from here. Easy to order over the phone also. Only issue is the lack of customer service from what looks like the owner who is talking on the phone while taking you order. I don't think I've ever had a lahmajoon like the ones here. I've honestly tried a lot of them from several different places and I was never satisfied with the taste. When I came here from looking up the yelp reviews, now I know why it's rated so well. It was honestly the tastiest lahmajoon I've ever had. It's very fresh and also meaty which is the best. Stumbled across this little gem by accident killing time. Amazing place. Sometimes they open their side door and you can see the place buzzing still at mid morning. Lahmajune is amazing. So is the pirozhkis. Soft inner and just right with the meat. I believe I had a cheborge, a half folded over thin pocket of meat and maybe cheese goodness. Or maybe it was the dough that was just that soft on the inside. Amazing place. Make sure you have him warm it up. Tastes just like it just came out of the oven. The owner man may be suspicious of outsiders at first but is very nice when he knows you are just a customer or repeat customer. Good man. Nice little display of authentic jellies and other items of their people. Very fresh flatbread it looked like. It's all very very good. Especially warmed. I believe it is the quality ingredients.
