Thankfully, a compassionate and caring facility like Webco Manor can make this difficult time a little less trying for a family and the loved one. The staff works very hard to provide exceptional and loving care to its residents. My grandmother, grandfather and great uncle have all received care in Webco Manor. My grandmother passed away in December. I cannot express the kindness of the staff to my grandmother and our entire family during her last months. She was in great pain and the some of the nurses took extra care to assure her safety and calm her fears. One of the nurses attended my grandmother's funeral. This is the level of compassion provided by Webco. My grandfather at 96 yrs old resides in Webco to this day. My great uncle has recently chosen to leave a much larger facility and move into Webco. The staff has tried very hard to comfort my great uncle during his transition. He requires highly skilled care (a feeding tube). The nurses have shown genuine care for his welfare and strict adherence to his feeding regiment. The staff also keeps my mom informed of any issues, requests from my grandpa or great uncle, or medical concerns. Although it is never easy to have a relative in poor health, Webco has provided a deep sense of relief knowing our relatives are safe and have caring people watching over them.

The Physical Therapist who work there have your best interest in mind and they always take your well being and future personally. Their end goal never seems to be the bottom dollar but instead, that you will be pain free, able to walk or throw....to succeed after surgery or whatever ailment made you come to them. The facility is VERY clean and in this day of COVID scare, an attendant is there wiping down and sanitizing every piece of equipment you utilize. In June 2024, I survived a concussion serving those with special needs in our community. I am…read moreunable to take a lot of modern pharmaceutical medication due to experiencing rare side effects confirmed by a neurologist three years prior to this event in my life. Hence, most providers only responding by prescribing medication that I am unable to take. The pain, dizziness, nausea, and sensory overload (light and sound) were unbearable. The symptoms only seem to intensify as the days of recovery turned into weeks. I walked like I was on a boat in the middle of the perfect storm. In desperation for relief from the symptoms an appointment was made with Dr. Shawna Townsend. The first appointment Dr. Townsend used Carnio Sacral therapy to gently begin the process of helping my brain heal one new connection at a time. My entire nervous system was needing a self-correct. The first session began with helping my brain to feel safe. This corrected the "walking on a boat in rough waters" sensation. It reduced the pain felt down to the skull and through to the brain. I instantly felt better and slept better that night. The second session addressed the underlying pain causing nausea and tenderness of the scalp. I could not fix my hair before the session due to the over sensitivity to touch of the scalp. After the session, I could fix my hair again. Concussions are unpredictable in their healing. Symptoms can mask other symptoms not originally presenting at the time of trauma. In my case, that was part of my issues. One symptom covered another symptom. My healing took several weeks to address and treat. They were treated using Crano Sacral therapy and physical therapy stretches. The remaining sessions addressed diminishing hearing or complete deafness to the ability to track movement in an area with my eyes. Her PEMF mat provided heat, red lights, and an electromagnetic field, and was a slice of heaven to lay on. Dr. Townsend addressed the underlying root of my symptoms instead of most physicians using a one size fits all approach. The physical therapy combined with the CranioSacral and brain therapy had the greatest impact for healing. The brain underwent self-correction one session at a time. If Dr. Townsend says, "I don't recommend that or maybe that isn't a good idea." Shawna has helped me elevate pain but also get more movement, flexibility and blood flow into my arms and hands. The equipment is in good shape, staff are friendly and the working spaces are clean and orderly. No matter what ill fortune landed them there, no one is happy to be in physical therapy, but this group makes tolerable what might otherwise be frustrating and exhausting - and at the end of the day, there probably isn't a much better endorsement than that for this type of business.

She immediately made me feel at ease with her caring and positive attitude, and she gave me hope that we would fix my back pain. Over the course of my visits she went above and beyond to come up with exercises that mimicked my own daily tasks. Melissa taught me specific exercises to help alleviate pain if I were to have a flare-up, which I still use almost a year later.
