I was followed around (by one employee in particular) who wasn't even trying to pretend that she wasn't doing so. It was like I was the only customer in the store that they needed to worry about (I wasn't, but I might have been the only Black customer in the store at the time). Whats hilarious about this is that I needed to buy a google electronic product, which they keep locked up, just a few months prior and it took me FOREVER to flag down an employee to help me. But when I don't need help and I just need to be left alone to shop without prying eyes, well it's not hard to find an employee then!

That's crazy cheap for a nice silk tie. I also have found nice shoes after discounts like 30% off for great prices if you shop the sale items. It helps to have a Kohls card because you can get exclusive 20 or 30% off deals, even on clearance items. The store is quite large and has a nice selection of men's and women's clothing, as well as luggage, home décor and kids clothing. Frankly, I usually find better deals on similar items to Yonkers or Dillards, without the hassle of driving to Gateway Mall and the prices are usually the same or better at Kohl's. Located on Yankee Hill Road, next to Marshalls, Home Goods, and Aldi this area is becoming a destination. Now if only they put in some more restaurants next to these stores, right now all we have is Tanners sports bar.

If you don't know these names or think they are the names of soccer players, don't worry--the stuff you buy in this store will be good quality even if you couldn't give a rip who makes it. They even sell Shamwows, which impresses. Not because I want one, but because it describes my relationship with the store--I like good quality, but hate pretentiousness. This store is double the size of other BBB's I've been to, which made me realize something--all the stuff is displayed at the perfect height for someone like me (6'0"). I feel as comfortable here as in a Lowe's, too. It is not a frou-frou girly kitchen/bath store, but then you won't see many guys around either. Why? Because if you are a guy who, say, needs to fit out a small bachelor pad, you can get all the household crap you need in one stop, and if you speed shop like I do it can be done in 2 hours. Plenty of time to get back to the sports bar and eat chicken wings and watch the game in the afternoon. We went recently because we had a gift card and got an assortment of items. Remember to bring the 20% coupons they always send out. Also, if you want something that is the last one/display, they will discount it 10%. They will also let you wrap gifts for free in the store or take paper home with you if you are getting something for a bridal registry. Staff were friendly!

I'm not a big Wal-Mart fan to begin with, but they do carry some things I cant find anywhere else…read more Yesterday, I entered the store in a pretty good mood, but I left furious. I purposely used a manned checkout stand, to be a little politically correct: protecting jobs, and all that. I had a couple of calendars I wanted to give as Christmas gifts set apart to keep them safe. First thing the checker did was allow the conveyor belt to mangle them. That might have been my fault. I get that. But the checker clearly was not worried about any damage and just wanted me out of there. There was a little bit of a gouge on the front of one of them, so I pulled over to the side after checking to make sure they were ok, and that I shouldn't return them immediately. I decided the damage wasn't with worrying about, as I needed to get home. As I started out the door, I was selected by some sort of security person to check my cart against my receipt. She was particularly concerned that I might have shoplifted a couple of bags of squirrel corn. Really? I'm going to go to jail for squirrel corn? F you people. You're lucky I compromised my political beliefs to walk into your damn store at all. I won't make that mistake again.

The lady came up and at first, I thought she was being nice and holding a conversation with me. Then out of nowhere she asked if I had scanned an item, then continued to eye everything that my partner was scanning as I bagged them. I hold 3 degrees (up to masters) and hold myself to a high degree. I do not appreciate the racial profiling of this lady. I wish I had got her name... she was a Caucasian older lady with glasses. I know that this city is not very inclusion friendly, but Walmart needs to do better. It's corporate and not a private institute.
