The workers needs to smile more most of them are just serious they don't make you small talk! Most of them are slow when it comes to scanning! Overall very nice and neat place but the cashiers need to smile more and make and connect more with the customers read more

i called in for a stock check on an item. Ariel was very helpful over the phone and his team was able to identify where the item was and put them on hold while i got there. As soon as i got there, like every other marshalls, there was a line. Before going to this location i had gone to 6 others to find what i needed. I expected to wait long in the line but to my surprise Ariel was making sure registers were running smoothly and all registers were being used. I waited no more than 5 min in line, which in other stores i've waited up to 20-30 min! Overall, ariel and team alameda were friendly, quick and efficient. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Just to get a price check on an item takes them about a whole hour. Not even a smile on the employee's or a greeting. Most of the employees there have no energy to work or are just miserable to even have a job. On top of all there they have no sense of coordination on their job description, there were only 3 registers open and 4 employees just standing there knowing there's a big line of people trying to pay and leave. read more

I came here to return some items on a Tuesday midday a few weeks ago. As you know, when you return an item you are asked to have the same card you used to pay for the return. I used my TJMaxx credit card on Apple Pay. For some reason, the number on the receipt did not match the number on my card. Manager was called, and this manager was so rude and short, did not care to help me or try to understand the situation. Kept telling me I used a different card when I knew for a fact I didn't and I tried explaining there must be a glitch with the system when Apple Pay is used and she said no there isn't and I asked if she was sure because clearly there was and she said yes the numbers always match and I can only use store credit and walked away. I was visibly frustrated and the cashier actually continued to try to help me to figure out why the numbers weren't matching and we were able to determine that in fact when you use Apple Pay, it DOES give a different number than what is on your actual card. I was able to show my activity through the app n my total on the receipt matched one of the charges on my card. Long story short, the cashier did a great job at helping me and cared enough to figure out the issue. This is something the manager was supposed to do. What is this manager good for if she cannot problem solve with the customers?? I only gave a star for the cashier who had great customer service. This Marshall's gets 0 stars for the management. read more

My first time coming to this Marshalls in Huntington park i walked in and i found a worker ask her for help and kinda just left me there, after i bump into another worker very presentable btw her name Maria R, i asked her the same questions and she was able to do great costumer service she gaved me the best options of purses and also gaved me the idea to do an application for the credit card, i applied with her she was very helpful and may i say pretty aswell, i ended up taking both purses, the store was a a bit messy but ill keep coming to this marshalls it was great deals. read more

Every time I come here they forget to take a tag off or they charge me twice for the same clothing etc it's ridiculous!

This Marshall's has a lot of nice finds if you go the day the get the stock. I hardly get the chance for that but I still find lovely items but I would have to complain about the makeup section most of the items are either opened, broken, even been touched (as in been switched) or all haven been done. I have still found some makeup that is completely new & nothing has been done to it so all is not lost. Other then that this is still a good store I just hope they can fix that somehow even just have someone there at all times to make sure people don't open them. read more

Every time I come to this Marshalls their restrooms are "out of service"! I have a toddler so I can't help having to go to the restroom all the time. I really didn't mind having to walk 6 stores down to take my kid, but now I'm pregnant so I really had to use the restroom this time and I asked if I can use the men's restroom and they said it was out of service too. I asked to speak to the manager which her name is Jennifer but she never showed up. Another employee named Karen came to me and said they couldn't do anything about it in a very rude way! Everything one has come to expect of a discount store. Disorganized, mangled merchandise, and no customer service. Nevertheless, I occasionally enjoy visiting on a weekday morning to avoid the check-out madness. I always enjoy buying scented candles that normally retail at Saks Fifth Avenue at triple the price, but avoid the shoes and clothes altogether. You will find great brands cheap, but rest assured that most are irregular, damaged or items that never sold at retail chains. read more

I would never go back there. Had the worst experience. The checkout staff have no idea what they are doing. They couldn't process my credit card payment so I was told to go out and withdraw cash and call my bank. After the bank assured me everything was working at my end, I was told it has to be paid in cash. I was charged a ridiculous amout of overseas cash withdrawal fee because of it. The staff were rude and made me wait for over 10mins to pay. This turned out to be their fault. A similar thing happened at a different marshalls the next day but the staff simply processed it as credit after the terminal rejected the payment, and everything went through ok. read more

I like this Marshall store, It is in a well-known plaza were I like to go all the time. It's clean sometimes but other times there is clothes everywhere. The staff/employees are really helpful and nice all the time. The lines are big but in my perspective isn't that a good thing, That means a lot of people go. Wednesday July 23, 2014 Store #1023 I had asked to use their Bathrooms Men / Woman At that point I did not care which one I use.... They had stated that BOTH were broken... I went to the area where the Bathrooms are... (I took Photos) They BOTH had signs on them Out of Service.. I then asked him "So how do your Employees use the Restroom"? He had stated to me... Ummmmmmmmm We do not use the Restrooms.. I was really Applaud by his response... He was really RUDE & NASTY I then asked to speak to his Manager (She / he refuse to come out) Instead Victor then gave me a Paper with a Number on it to call & it was a Wrong Number.. I then asked him what I this number.. He said "Oh it takes a long time to answer" Just keep calling.... This the number he gave me (District Number 714-526-8086) I Took photos of the Bathrooms being out of Service... I spent over $175.00 at this location.. When I went pay.. Another Cashier goes to tell him... To Victor (Oh there is that fat lady) she is still here.. I refused to have her cash me out.. I went to another Cashier instead... i came in to pickup some shoes i had placed on hold. i waited in line(return line) to pick them up. i waited for about 10 minutes. once i reached the counter the lady zuri told me to i had to get in the other line because she couldn't help me in the one i was at. i explained that i needed to pick up some shoes. she turns around grabs the shoes and tells me i have to get in the other line that has about 20 to 30 people waiting in line. are you kidding me. okay when i put the shoes on hold i wasn't told that i could walk up to the counter to pick up the shoes, then to get in the other line. okay i get that it's a return line, but hey the way you speck to a customer goes both ways. it can go north or south. this marshals does have a variety of things but it's a mess. the one person that actually helped me and was nice was Stephanie. read more

They have horrible service, the managers try to take the easy way out when a customer has questions or concerns. Working in retail myself, I know that it can be frustrating at times to deal with so many people, but customer service is the main thing I look for when I shop somewhere.
