The sales associate was quick and efficient to get my purse unlocked. The line was quite long and the cashiers were very very slow.

This Marshall's has great selections for the size... But man every time I come to this store the temperature inside has to be well in the 90s. This store is unbearably hot to shop in. I feel horrible for the workers that have to pit up with that heat! They need to put large commercial fans behind each register. The line to pay is ridiculously long but having to stand there feeling sweat dripping down all over you. To the people that work there please speak up! There are plenty of minimum wage jobs in NYC. Someone should really look as to why this store is so unbearably warm. read more

Marshall's has a lot of cute home accessories and clothes. What I love about it is that there are great priced items. The clothes are very cute and shoes. They also have cool mugs and decorative plants. The pet section is pretty small here but they have beds I didn't see any cat scratching post but they have some food bowls. This location is decent in size. However inside it seems a bit all over the place and overwhelming. The things they carry at this location are a decent selection but it would be nice if it was a little more organized. The clearance is not only a mess but everything is opened/ used and even with the sale price I wouldn't get it. The hair section was pretty disappointing as well not as much products and most of them were opened so that sucked but overall it's was okay. read more

I went into Marshalls today to pick up a few items and I was exhausted from the experience before I even started to shop. There was a line downstairs at the first register and people were arguing which is never a good sign. The the escalator to go upstairs was not working which is a usual occurrence here. One of the escalator is always down at this location. As I walked up the escalator you are greeting by clutter up to the ceiling it is like someone started to put something away but moved on to something else. They changed the layout of the store and put shoes where men's clothes once was and now home items are in the shoes place. I did not look around further but the store was a wreck. I found some new work sneakers in the clearance section and I was very excited because I was only in there 10 minutes tops. So next was the line it started to wrap around the store and boy were the customers on line angry. They only had 2 people on the register. The customer had to beg and scream for a manager to be called and this women took her time. Asking the other cashiers where was everyone else. She then proceeded to call for cashiers over the air and no person came. We stood in line for 25 minutes before a third person came to help and move the line but, not before screaming at the manager for calling them on the loud speaker. This store is highly unorganized and need customer service training a few more times. No one smiled nor were we greeted and offered an apologize for having to wait. It really makes you think about coming back to this location if we are going to be treated like we as people don't matter nor is our time important to them. I doubt I will be back anytime soon. I will stick to Marshalls in Manhattan. read more

My experience here as not better than the first one and worse than others yelpers. I been here 2 times and the whole place look like "after black friday" not organized. A big line and only 2 or 3 people on the counter, when 1 of them can't find a price the all reunite in a book trying to find a price of a single product while a big line is waiting. I am so happy to have found Marshall's in the Fordham area. I got exactly what I needed (dress, sheets, underwear etc...) for cheap prices!

I absolutely LOVE this store. I always find what I need. The selection is fabulous, and the prices can't be beat.

Check your items and receipts bitches be scamming and stealing. This goes for all department stores no joke. Several times this happened to me and I am just tired of it. read more

It is alright would rather prefer to go to the Marshall's at 225th Marble Hill. I feel as though this one is not organized at all.

I only gave it 1 star because I'm a fan of the company itself BUT this location is horrible! The manager hector is rude and has 0 customer service skills. The store rarely has anything good and is always dirty! Why do most stores on Fordham look like garage sales? My experience in this store as never been good, I always leave after a five meniute walk thru. First the store is always a mess and the shoes are always all over the floor. I hate when I find a pair of shoes I like and they are different sizes or worst the same foot. Customer service is the worst so even if I did find something to buy I refuse to wait on a line for more then a few minutes when there are 3 cashiers. read more

I find this Marshall's okay. I not a big fan but I'm not against it either. I guess I'm one of those customers still down about the A.J Wright that used to take its place before. They are part of the same company, but I felt I always found more options at AJW. Any who... this Marshall's is okay in my book. They do have a wide selections on shoes for both men and women and some nice clothing, but not too much has grasped me. read more

Ghetto. Messy. Dirty! Lines take 2 hours!!! This is the worse marshalls I have ever visited in NYC. It reminds me of a old navy its so messy I cant find anything here at all. Products are open perfumes are open or broken creams, soaps, makeup etc ...shoes are mostly on the floor. The staff is mostly le Dominicans and they are very unprofessional they talk and curse while in the register. I hate this place I will never return. This place should close down or change staff asap! This needs new management and a cleaning crew. When this place open a few years ago it was nice oh and the escalator is always broken. What happened to this store? This is embarrassing read more

I went to Marshall's I Fordham Rd because I needed a pair of shoes. I work I. The neighborhood but I never really knew that Marshalls was known for foot ware. But I went in and saw Marla who guided me through the process and I was able to get the shoes I needed. Surprisingly they had large sizes. Very friendly staff I must say and the prices were very competitive. Definitely recommend this location. read more

The store has a large selection of sandals vs shoes. If you need something casual, you'll find it there. You can easily spend an hour looking at the diffrerent sections. Give yourself time to wait on line which can sometimes be long. The store is clean and the fitting rooms are comfortable. read more
