This review is definitely long over due. A few years back, I was looking into chiropractic care since I was working out a lot. I found a Groupon and I completely forgot about it and stashed it away. A few weeks after that I got into an accident and when the next day, my back was extremely sore. I remembered about my Groupon and decided to cash in on it. From there, I explained what happened and decided to pursue an injury lawyer. I stayed with Dr. Marshall through my chiropractic care. I saw him about 3x a week with one of them being a massage for the whole appointment. When I tell you this man cares, HE CARES! Every time, he explained how the process and how my following weeks of care was going to be. He went over some stretches to help alleviate my pain. And his masseuse... his masseuse was amazing! I'm a patient who waited until I had several appts (two days per week for the last 4 weeks) with Dr. Marshall before I gave a solid review: Aesthetically the office is clean, tidy, and comfortable. During my first appt, we discussed ailments, concerns, and a possible plan of action. We went into what my expectations were and he was transparent and honest in his answers. I showed up on time to every appt, and did not have to wait to been seen. The plan of action has been delivered on every appt, and my relief has exceeded my expectations. Dr. Marshall is super great and very friendly! I've been coming here for about 8 months now and each visit is a relief. Each adjustment is about 7 mins long, and then an extra 5 or 10 mins depending on what he uses to stimulate blood flow after the adjustment (either a massage gun or the TENS-like machine with the pads). He's also been kind enough to go extra when I have more discomfort than usual- he's used athletic tape on my shoulder when it's acted up, and also the Y-strap to decompress my spine and neck. I have been receiving chiropractic treatment for about 30 years,I have had many excellent chiropractors. This doctor was not one of them. The table that the doctor used was one of those really old cushiony ones without a drop table or anything and as he laid hands on me to adjust me there was no time that he took to feel anything in my body he just snapped me back and forth and that was that. Dr. Marshall is very nice, don't get me wrong. But I feel like it's a waste of money. Not expensive, no. But I was literally in and out within 10min. Felt pretty horrible to waste my money and time and gas driving down there to be in and out and have the same thing done to be every time. And that's not really my main complaint. I purchased the groupon for the massage.. worst massage ever. She was good with her hands but would NOT STOP TALKING !!! I'm trying to relax and enjoy the massage, but I had to keep responding and I was annoyed the whole time. Literally the whole time there was not one second of silence. And on top of that, she didn't even give me a full hour !!! It was only 40min !! I timed it! She said "ok I gave you the full time but it may seem off because we started a little late" clearly not lady!!! We started at 4:07 and you finished by 4:45 !!! What is that!! Best chiropractor that I have ever been to! On my visit he was very welcoming and explained things to me in the simplest terms so I could understand the issue I have (which is Anterior Pelvic Tilt). I knew I had this issue but was never taught by other chiro's how to continue to alleviate and improve this issue at home (especially before and after work outs). He spent a lot of time on me, didn't rush through like some chiropractors do. Being that I travel a lot for work, it's a bummer I can't make appts more often with him because I felt amazing after I left. This guy actually cares about his patients. I have had only two adjustments with Dr Marshall in the last week, and today I topped it off with a massage. The massage therapist Dave is absolutely amazing. I have had memberships for years with monthly type facilities. And never had a massage like this. If you're going for Chiropractic and you can, definitely add a massage for the full healing effect. I have extreme pain with sciatica that acts up about every 6 months and usually takes me several visits to recover But after finding dr. Marshall that all changed. I am at about 90% recovered with only two visits and one massage. When I came in three days ago I couldn't even barely sit down on the table or turn myself over he had to help me with every step I took. But today I was up down turn around all with minimal amount of discomfort. Anybody experiencing any kind of pain or discomfort should come and see him. I'm sure he's just as amazing for routine visits as well. So I plan on making it a routine to make sure these kinds of episodes don't happen to me anymore.
