I stayed at the Marriott Boston Quincy in July 2026 and had a pleasant experience overall. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I appreciated the complimentary bottled water offered at check-in. My king room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a modern bathroom. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the room maintained a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. Overall, this is a solid hotel and a good choice if you're staying in the Quincy area. One thing to keep in mind is that there aren't many breakfast options within walking distance. Such a disappointment for a big Marriott. The rooms are falling apart (paint chipping off windowsills, ceilings, tiles coming up in bathrooms), shower heads not working. Food on the bedsheets, looks like someone pooped on the other. Ran out of hand soap, when asking the house keeper was told to use the shower gel. Was told the members lounge breakfast is 6-930. Food was gone at 9, apparently they have a sign inside the lounge that says 6-9. Would have been nice of the front desk to know that. For those of use lactose intolerant would be nice if you had some milk alternatives for the coffee. Only had half and half, but when asked if we could have atleast 2% lounge staff rolled eyes and got annoyed. Just wow! I travel a lot and always stay at Marriotts this is so below standards. read more

I stayed here for a wedding and while they were kind enough to let me into my room early (not at my request), my entire floor stunk like cigarettes and weed. There is not way the cleaners didn't smell it as they were turning the rooms. It got so bad I had to go ask for a new room for the next day and shoved towels by the door. They gave me a new room but for the amount of money we payed for the room there should have been a discount. On top of that parking was $20 a day. Are you kidding me?! The. When trying to get money out at their atm it only allowed you $20 a transaction with a fee of 4.99. Horrible visit and definitely would recommend looking elsewhere where for a hotel. Food was over priced and not great as well. Boston prices without the Boston accommodation. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of the room swap, otherwise it would be negative stars if I could! read more

Staying here feels like trying to sleep in a war zone. Because of the flimsy construction, every single sound is amplified. If someone walks overhead, you'll hear it. If someone shuts a door anywhere on the floor, it reverberates through your room like a shockwave. The noise is relentless to the point where it genuinely sounds like bombs falling in the distance somewhere nearby all day long. The building is so cheaply constructed that the entire room physically reacts to it. The bed shakes. The nightstand shakes. Items on the table rattle. I would be lying in bed and feel the bed shake when someone shut a door down the hall. I stayed in room 664, and I did not get a single night of uninterrupted sleep. I was woken up multiple times, sometimes by housekeeping noise and several other times by doors in the hallway slamming. Despite sleeping with two different white noise machines running, it was enough to shake the room and jolt me awake. It was impossible to relax in the room during the day or take a nap. My body was constantly tense, bracing for the next crash, slam, or bang. There was no sense of calm or quiet at any point. The main culprit is housekeeping, and it is completely out of control. They clean rooms with the hallway doors propped wide open, turning the corridor into an echo chamber. As they clean, they are aggressively slamming everything from closet doors, shower doors, glass cups, toilet seats crashing shut, hangers clanking loudly. I could clearly hear hangers clanging together, toilet seats banging, and doors slamming from eight rooms down the hall, all from inside my room with the door closed. Even the common areas are a nightmare. The lobby regularly had two different music tracks playing at the same time over the speakers, dueling music competing with itself, creating an absolute cacophony. The only bright spot was the breakfast staff, who were super friendly and professional. If you value sleep, peace, or sanity, do not stay here. I have never experienced anything like this and would never stay here again. read more

The first room I was given was dirty. The blanket on the bed was lumpy. The heater didn't work and the water barely worked in the bathroom sink. The heater turned up to 80, but would not get the room warmer than 60. The second room I was given had the same heater issue. The heater was blowing cold air, and the room wouldn't get past 60. While I was at work, maintenance 'fixed' the heater but it would not get warmer than 74 the rest of my stay. Despite the room issues, the staff was excellent. read more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Boston Quincy. They were able to accommodate us last minute on our trip, everything from check in, to overall accommodations was solid. I am always a big fan of Marriotts in general, especially their bedding and this visit was no exception. The stay was very comfortable. The hotel was definitely well maintained and the lobby and rooms were modern and clean. They have their own private parking lot, which is always appreciated while traveling and with a car rental. They had a bar in the lobby that was dishing out five star classic cocktails. The service in the bar was less stellar, but the beverages made up for it. We didn't take advantage of a ton of their other amenities, as we're out and about most of the time. Overall, we were super comfortable and really enjoyed our two night stay and would definitely consider staying again. read more

Booked hotel room 2 queen beds for 3 adults. Got 2 sets of towels instead of 3. Had made reservations with their website, no discounts t for aaa members, so people beware. Even desk clerk said no rooms available upon arrival with discount. I wrote a complaint. The response only stated the website is correct. No apology, nothing for not providing set of towels for a 3rd adult. Book reservations through aaa only. This way, the aaa representative can steer clear of this hotel. Parking cost $20 per night as of 8/19/25. Room was clean BUT, Go elsewhere for more friendlier service and accommodations. read more

For starters, this hotel has the worst room I have experienced. The doors for the bathrooms don't close completely giving lack of privacy. SECONDLY, we saw many insects in our room for example, asian beetle bugs which are HIGHLY dangerous. A total hazard. Next, our shower was broken and we could not shower at all. This is horrible for customers who especially come back from a long travel and have to get n bed in disgusting grime. Furthermore, the floors are extremely sticky and feels like walking on dirt. In addition, we had been waken up by many prank callers, totally ruining our sleep. Lastly, the food was probably the best experience in this hotel. It may not be far from ordinary, but it is filling. So overall, if you want to have showers, sleep, and visit a clean environment, DO NOT STAY HERE. It is not worth your buck. read more

I mentioned a several reviews ago that I am someone who almost always finds *something* to quibble about. Marriott Boston Quincy is not exception, and I have my fair share of "quibbles". However, they came through when it really mattered, and that's why I am awarding five stars instead of the four (or even three) that may have been awarded otherwise. The backstory is a plumbing issue upstairs meant my mattress got completely soaked. I have a couch, but when it comes to sleep, I become the princess from "Princess and the Pea". I need a bed if I am to be a human being the next day. This hotel was nearby, and their rates were relatively relatively reasonable, especially for a walk-in reservation. When I walked in, and explained the situation, the staff did everything within their abilities to make the process as stress-free as possible. While they couldn't change the rates, they gave me a free late check-out (so I could have the option to extend my stay, should it have been needed). Two free waters as well, while nominal in value, were also greatly appreciated. These moments of human kindness is what truly made the experience great. Outside of this, the room was clean and very modern (with abundant LED lighting and lots of switches throughout!). Bedding was comfortable too. On the other side, plates from room service lined the halls in the late evening and more so in the morning, there was a light smell of cigarette smoke in the hall, and a surprise parking charge at check out ($15). While barring another emergency I don't see myself needing to use this hotel in the future, it was an overwhelmingly positive experience under the circumstances. read more

I stayed one night in this Marriott hotel and had a very pleasant experience. But honestly, I feel as a Marriott reward member there are certain benefits that are slipping away. Take for example the Portsmouth Marriott. Not only did they have coffee for reward members, they also gave us a brown bag filled with a breakfast bar and some other breakfast items. Show me some love Marriott! Lets put aside the free stuff, the front desk checked me in/out very quickly and my room was comfy with a very nice bathroom. My only complaint? We're miles away from Boston, $30 for parking? We're in the suburbs! That's just gangsta. read more

Arrived super late in the wee morning hours from a major airline delay into BOS. Even with a Google Map, the darkness shrouds the roads and driveway into this Marriott facility. The front desk took a while to give me my room and program the right amenities but didn't bother asking me about points or assistance at this hotel. The concierge lounge was very nice, and the fitness center was well equipped but with older lines, probably at least 15 years old. Besides the lack of professionalism from the front desk at 130 am in the morning, thos was a decent place to stay south of Boston. read more

I decided to stay here on a recent visit as it was cheaper than staying in the city. I was happy with that choice! Like other reviewers stated I was a little shocked by the cost of parking that was added to my bill. This location is close to food options as well as the red line to the T. On my day of check in the line was quite long. I felt bad for the one staff person working the front desk. However, despite the long line she remained friendly. This location has an amazing fitness center as well. Plenty of space, lots of equipment, and super clean. I would recommend in order to save some money. Nice looking hotel and has a great lobby. Rooms look nice but that's where it stops. Beds were not made properly. The top sheet was turned sideways. I was wondering why I was struggling to get the sheet up without uncovering my feet but turns out the maids put the sheet on completely wrong, on both beds. Not only that but the pillows are the worst I have ever experienced. One pillow isn't enough as it will deflate in a short amount of time leaving your neck hurting, but two pillows are too much propping your head up too much, leaving your neck hurting. Worst pillows ever. On top of those things, the floors are barely cleaned. How do I know, walking in my room without socks and my feet are covered in clumps of other people's hair or just plain dirt. Again the hotel looks nice, but function isn't all there. I see there's a nice restaurant so that's a plus I guess. read more

I actually will start with all that was great. Room location was excellent as we shared a breath taking view over the immediate area. Food downstairs was splendid. wonderful kitchen staff. the only blemish was front desk attendee Tyrone who provided the opposite experience as those on site. I watched him walk away as guests approached the desk and when addressed he became combatant, that was unfortunate but Kaija (I think I misspelled her name) made sure I had a lovely departure. Booked a room on the fly during a Personal emergency.. and I made a mistake while booking since i was driving there... they gave me absolute hell while trying to check in. Long story short, I Paid for a room I never saw and got treated like a piece of garbage with my son waiting in the Car in tears. Beautiful hotel but the staff is very ugly on the inside. It was 11pm so they would have only had us for maybe 9 hours, instead of helping they kept insisting they couldn't find my reservation even after I showed my reservation number and that the money came out of my account. Once found... STILL couldn't help me since it wasn't in MY name even though I'm the one who paid for it... if I didn't book it how did I have all the information? Then offered me to rebook and pay again but for $50 more just to be helpful. But this time was nearly midnight. Rather sleep in my car thanks. read more

This hotel is the biggest waste of money. they have you paying New York City Prices for a hotel which don't even give you proper bedsheets, the mattresses are like jail cell mattresses, they make you pay to park meanwhile you are in a suburb of Boston and not the actual city. Very angry. I arrived at 10 PM and there was a prom going on and only one person working the front desk. I could not find a single parking spot and I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to finally leave. You also need to pay $20 a day for parking--which is ridiculous. We are here for a soccer tournament and we were not supposed to get charged until our stay had ended. Instead of this, we were charged the day after arriving. The incompetent staff wrongly charged our card and it took 10 phone calls, twice filling out their online form, twice being cut off by their accounting department and several times being left on hold, and one call to the corporate offices that went nowhere. What a disgrace of a hotel. The hotel itself is musty and the rooms are not clean. The views are ugly and they don't even have courtesy coffee in the lobby or free onsite parking. I stayed here for a wedding in the vicinity (Granite Links). Not a great experience: I was nickel and dimed the whole time. The wedding party was supposed to receive a comp breakfast but Marco at the front desk refused this service for me, the $15 parking overnight charge was a complete and total surprise (divulged by Jieling) and my room was a sauna where the air conditioning didn't work. These two hesitated in even giving me the goody bag that was designated for the wedding guests! The breakfast buffet staff was not friendliest either and the pool was out of service. read more

Good if you're traveling for work and you need space to get remote work done, but check the sheets before lying in them. This Marriot is in the suburbs and a drive away from downtown. The lobby has ample space for working and the Starbucks serves up a decent cup. The one things that ruined my stay was that my sheets had gross reddish/ brownish stain on them. Mr G. earned enough points for a reward night so given the limited selection we picked Quincy. This is a full Marriott category 5 which we picked over a courtyard in Waltham. We walked into a warm and inviting contemporary lobby. Open with large areas and a nice layout offering smooth flows. Beats getting into a luggage traffic jam. Mr G checked in with the Marriott mobile app thus giving him EXTRA points for trying it. The desk clerk was very patient and we probably could have checked us in faster without it but going Techy is the way to go according to my programmer. Shouldn't complain since the points is what got us the free stay. Now that the app is set up future check ins should go easier. There is free wifi in the lobby and you can use it in your room but the charge will be on your bill. They also charge $12/day for parking. We drove up to the main door to check in then went back to. park using our room key card to enter the parking lot. Otherwise you'd pay to get your ticket to lift the gate. Without the room key you'd pay each time you entered cha ching. They have a restaurant, bar, store and Starbucks. Although the Starbucks is not a true location so they wouldn't take my prepaid Starbucks rewards card. My G got a soy latte anyway. It was cloudy and overcast outside so that might have helped keep the light out do I could sleep in. The blinds were heavy but I still clipped the edge with a hair clip to block out the light. The shower was wonderful, best one I've had in a while. The water was hot and quick. Didn't skip in pressure or temp and the waterfall shower head flowed perfect. I've taken showers under a mist or trickle and hated it, not here. The bed and pillows were comfy. Soft and fluffy although the sheets make noise like they are stiff from starch. They don't feel stiff just move that way. We met friends down in the bar where we got drinks and they had dessert. They enjoyed the Creme Brule and Chocolate lava cake. Looked delicious but given we don't eat dairy or egg we bowed out. The menu is not pub or bar food but more like a restaurant with prices that match. The seating area was spacious and although it was busy we didn't have to scream to talk even with the big screen TVs on near us. This is a nice place to go and I'd recommend it to others to stay. read more

There was a wedding tonight so now the guests are in the hallway being loud. It's past 11:30pm. Wonder how long they will be out there. The people in the next room let the door slam when they went in. It shook MY room. I was in bed and felt it. I can hear a lot of things loudly like when they are running the faucet. No parking available in the main lot so I parked in the overflow lot past the maintenance trucks/trailers. There are like 100 cars in the lots. It's the only reasonably priced hotel in the area. It is now 12:15am and they are louder than before. More people too. Now it is 1am...party has moved to the other room next door to mine. Music with bass and drunk women screaming/laughing. Have you ever complained about loud, drunk adults? That's not going to go over well. I am wearing earplugs and can still hear them. I really wish they would pass out already. Good luck if you come in on a Saturday night when there is a wedding. I have revised my review to one star. All I wanted was a place to sleep. read more

If you want to be treated like a queen for the day, this is not the place for you. "Everyone is treated the same" regardless if you spend $100 or $50,000! This is bananas to me! My son had his wedding here last weekend. I do not recommend this venue. The staff doesn't care. The wedding coordinator was no where do be found, the banquet manager was clueless, and the assistant manager was busy hitting on the guests at the wedding. I think there is a high turnover of staff as no one seemed to know how to run a wedding. Many answers by the managers "I don't know, or that's not my job." Michael the waiter was fabulous but unfortunately he was the only one. Customer service 101- how can I help you? Let me make it better, I'm sorry this happened! I had dropped off bathroom baskets, welcome bags and pashminas a few days before the wedding. When I arrived the day of the wedding I was not offered a welcome bag. The bathroom baskets had been picked through and so much had been removed prior to being placed by the staff as they were the only ones that had access. I could go on and on. A friend told me that she encountered a staff member filling her pockets with stuff in the bathroom. There was so much miscommunication between staff, and they all pointed the fingers at each other. The wedding was great because of the people, not the venue. There are so many places to have a wedding in and around the Boston area. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere you will be a VIP. read more

WOW... evidently The Quincy Marriott recently had a complete renovation. The lobby is beautiful and inviting. The Bar and Restaurant are also spectacular with a nice selection. I missed the ALL you can eat Ribeye however, I heard is was AWESOME. The rooms are pretty nice and bit with huge LED TV's!!! You may notice the only pictures in this review are pictures of the hotel gym. The reason is simple: the workout facility was the best I've ever experienced at any hotel, including most resort/spas, and the rest of the hotel was fine, but not noteworthy. The Quincy Marriott recently had a complete (and likely very expensive) renovation. The rooms are fine, with new, huge TV's (my first one didn't work.) They did accommodate me by moving me to a bigger, nicer room. The cuisine on site is a mixed bag. I say "bag" intentionally, as all room service is now served in bags. That said, I arrived late and my only dining option was the gift shop refrigerator. The wrap I had from there was fresh and very good. Recently, I've been using the restaurant(s) of the Quincy Marriott for business meetings. It is very suitable for this purpose, usually not too crowded, attentive service each time, ample offerings in the menus, tables not too close, not usually loud. I have attended for breakfast, lunch and early dinner and drinks over the past month. The breakfast has an ala cart or buffet choice. Lunch/ dinner has assortment of appetizers- sandwiches to satisfy choices. Today we split a meat and cheese plate, fish tacos and shrimp and cheese appetizer. The shrimp, unfortunately, was undercooked and a circulating manager came by to ask how things were and took off of the bill. Service was very good. read more

I like the hotel in general and know its not near a lot. But my main complaint is their inaccurate advertising of the internet and smart TVs. I stayed there twice in April and both times the internet was very spotty and the smart TV would not connect to the WiFi. So no Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. The front desk kept telling me its the room and not normal and would be fixed shortly. But two different rooms 4 days apart and same problem. So I need to go there again in June and I called ahead and the front desk. And the lady at the front desk acknowledged the internet doesn't work a lot and NO TVS in the hotel connect to the WiFi or have Netflix capability. They need to be upfront with their customers.At ~$250 a night this is insult to customers. read more

Hotel cost is not bad because it is in the outskirt of Boston. Received a good discount because of my job. Calm neighborhood. There is a BJs nearby. There is also my all-time favorite, Starbucks, in Braintree, MA! Easy breezy check-in and check-out. $12 parking all day. They charge extra for internet. They charge for bottled water in the rooms. I stayed here with my husband and a group of friends for a Marriage Retreat. The hotel was a great choice, they took care of everything and the catered food here was very good. We had a 3 course dinner on a Friday night, then brunch buffet the next morning. We were very satisfied with everything. The room- Very clean, super comfortable king size beds, plush blankets and pillows, and nice flat screen tv. The Bathroom- Clean, Modern, and very spacious. Staff- Was very friendly and helpful. Free Parking. Friday late night.. my husband and I were kinda hungry and didn't want to leave the hotel. It was too late for room service so he wandered the hall to look for a vending machine. Didn't find one but he went down to front desk and they had sandwiches, snacks, ice cream, sodas for sale. Kinda pricey but we had no other choice.
