An appointment window was made for 2 weeks after the template. DH had to follow up to determine when they would be ready. The appointment was made for 8-10 am. When no one showed by 10:30 AM I called DH. They then had to call Wilmington Granite to find out what was going on. They told them that the appointment was missed and they would try to show up the same day between two and 4 o'clock. I ran some errands outside the house and came home at 1:20. Wilmington Granite showed up at 1:30 and weren't even aware that they had an appointment that morning or in the afternoon between two and four. Customer service is everything this day and age, especially when we're all paying a lot more money for the same services. 2 gentlemen showed up, but one performed most of the work and had to keep calling his partner on the cell phone to come help. While cleaning up, they used a Clorox product on my wood cabinets, floor and quartz before I recognized what they were using. I would expect granite and quartz specialists to know these basic elements of the job. The quartz does look nice installed and this is what the 3 stars is for.

She was very knowledgeable about the products they had to offer and was very helpful and detailed in meeting our needs. She offered suggestions, but never tried to 'oversell'. The employees who came to dismantle and install were extremely courteous and very respectful in the way they treated us as well as our home. The turnaround time was very efficient. For those who dont want to read...the end product agreed upon is fantastic and very well built...I…read morewould even go as far as to say overbuilt...which is good. I truly dont think you will find a better product in the Wilmington area....they truly build great decks....for those that want to read....I will take you thru our process..... If you want a quick turnaround on your deck, dont count on it, it will take several months. They are busy. Process- Salesman arrives in March...he is fantastic and helps us solve a couple of issues we had concerns with...two other companies did not. He explained procedure....10% down, if you cancel you lose half of your deposit...40% when they start and balance of 50% when project completed. You will have to submit plans to HOA for approval, they will take care of all the other permits...very convenient. We had our down payment in by the end of March and were put in Que...we were told the completion date would be mid June to late June.....their price was higher than the other two quotes....significantly, however; the product and design offered is far superior...pay the money, you wont be sorry. No communication from the end of March forward until I contacted them during the first week of June to ask about start dates....I was told they were waiting on permits...so I checked on line...its public information...our permits were not put in until May 31st....this delayed the build...the project started around July 17th and was completed on August 2nd. I feel the permits could of gone in much sooner to keep on schedule. There were a couple of hiccups during the build that we caught before they became a major issue...I would highly recommend you be home for the build to insure it is how you envisioned the project. These minor issues were solved easily and without concern, but if they were not caught before/during construction could of been an issue. One of the issues was a change we made after agreeing to a certain build height of the pergola, but while watching it being built realized it was to low...they raised it, no problem. The other was a cosmetic design that was sold to us but was not conveyed to the contractor....this was also caught early and rectified. The last was the underpinning...we thought it was included with the build because the deck was two levels and found out at the end it was not. They gave us a very fair price to add it on and completed it without hassle. They also gave us a price to have the pergola painted once it has time to weather. All of the Owners/team members I had contact with were easy to deal with....Glenn, Mark, Dino and Josue were fantastic. The deck is awesome, constructed extremely well and in the end thats what matters....I would chose them again without question.

The company would only communicate through email, making it difficult to discuss issues directly. They also repeatedly missed scheduled appointments without notifying us in advance. Unfortunately, the powder room sink was not installed correctly. Despite our requests to have the issue corrected or receive a reimbursement, the company ignored our concerns. Given the poor communication, lack of reliability, and failure to address the installation issue, I cannot recommend this company.
