The staff in the lumber yard and shack were friendly, professional, and helpful also. A few times I didn't even have to get out of the truck when picking up additional items that were ordered over the phone. The prices of our materials were more affordable and the materials were better quality than what we had found at the larger, chain stores. We were able to return some stock items that we had purchased and the returns were gladly accepted and our account was credited. The lumber yard was tidy and well stocked. In 2010 I purchased a 16x16 shed package from Builders Discount in Wallace NC. Some of the wall…read morestuds they helped me load were crooked. Some of the 2x6 rafters were crooked also. I had to snap a line on 2 of them to cut the warp out. 3 or so of the wall studs were so bowed I discarded them and went to Lowes and purchased straight ones. Today 2/24/2012 I went back to Builders Discount to get some comparison prices for lumber and cabinets and other things to do repairs on my home due to a insurance estimate on a kitchen grease fire, in the amount of $101,240.00. While looking at some electric wall boxes an employee approached me and asked if I needed any help. I told him I had to rebuild part of my house and I came in to get some prices today, then I remembered the crooked boards for the shed. I told him on my list was some 2x10's for floor joists in the bedroom above the kitchen. I said I would like them straight and would I be allowed to look through the lumber to pick these out. He said, when you pay for the items you want you will be allowed to pull into the warehouse, when you get inside an attendent will help you load your items and he won't load anything that is not ok. Then he said, but no, you cannot stand there and pick through the lumber. Remembering the crooked shed lumber they helped me load, I said, well that answers all the questions I have and I went home. That was about 2 hours ago that they told me I could not pick out those 7 straight boards. If they won't allow me to pick out 7 straight boards. I will go where they will allow it. I will take my $101,240.00 (one hundred one thousand, two hundred and forty dollar) check and go to Lowes tomorrow.

Place never looked like that, called…read morefirst. man said he had what I was looking for a 60 lh panel out swing door unit they had 3 in stock one looked ok but it had a big gap at bottom so I looked at another they were supposed to be metal units so I picked another one and it had a gap at the bottom but took it anyway I went in to pay for it and they loaded it up got home and noticed it was not metal but instead it was fiberglass glued to a wood frame and when I unloaded it had a whole on the side that was facing down in my truck. After further looking at the door it to was warped. Before buying it ask the salesman if it was a second he stated it was not the trim was crooked on the jamb where the doors came together the was large gap the jamb was to wide for the doors one door was a little taller I will never go back there this thing is a piece of junk I should have went to lowes and paid 100. dollars more I drove 90 miles round trip this place is a joke the sell junk
