I've been a member at Pacifica Beach Yoga since January 2025 and it has genuinely changed my life…read more I could never stick to any regular exercise for more than a couple of months, but I've been going to 3-4 classes every week since joining, without fail. When I started, I felt weak and dealt with a lot of small aches and pains throughout my body. Now I feel so much more stable, balanced, stronger, and pain-free. The combination of Bikram and Pilates classes is excellent, and the two complement each other really well. Not to mention the added bonus of the heat - the sauna-like environment brings its own longevity and recovery benefits on top of everything else. The instructors are inspiring and the community is great -- honestly, a big part of why I keep coming back. I can't recommend this place enough! As one of the other reviewers said, a true Pacifica gem.

But below is what my experience was. The owner is very friendly and funny. His dog is also a social pro. Studio itself is very clean and comes with a lot of amenities. I tried the hot yoga, power flow, and inferno Pilates. The hot yoga class is what you would expect. They got really good instructors for power flow and inferno Pilates. I definitely enjoyed the classes. If you live nearby, I would highly recommend this studio. they got super instructors guaranteeing a solid workouts

It was hot as promised, yet she "read the room" and wafted the door open when we seemed to be wilting. Her dialogue was clear and attuned to the level of the group. She was friendly, and the studio seemed clean and fresh. YAY!

I have not written a review in over 10 years as a devoted yogi student of this studio. However, I…read morewas dismayed and frankly disappointed by the yoga teacher tonight, named Dominic. I have only taken this teacher's class once before . Tonight the studio was not typically hot as usual, but more of a temperate climate. He kept the fans on and the doors open. It didn't take long for the room to become cool and eventually a cold draft ensued. A student requested for him to "please close the door."However to no avail. He responded, "you just need to work harder!" I then stated, "it's cold, can you close the doors please". He again resisted doing so, and claimed we were not working hard enough. I have been practicing yoga since 2001 and am a hot yoga and Hatha yoga certified instructor. Certainly, I practice hard enough. It was so disheartening to observe a teacher use his ego and disregard the sentiment of his students. I will not be taking his class again. It's such a shame when teachers exert egotistical control in the name of yoga....it negates all meaning of what yoga represents, and its purpose becomes null and void. Dr. Cuba

They provide quality yoga mats, blocks, blankets and bolsters so you can focus on your flow if you're new and don't have equipment. I've been attending classes here for a few months now and have found an instructor for every mood. Stephenie's evening classes are perfect when I want a slow, meditative flow. She gently guides us through poses and holds each one long enough for my body to fully sink in. I always leave her class feeling loose and limber. Joann's morning Hatha class is great for de-stressing. The sequences are simple but rejuvenating. We move through meditations and breathing exercises at a leisurely pace. When I want more of a challenge, I go to Josh or Tiffany's Vinyasa classes. They seamlessly flow us through faster-paced flows focused on breath and building up to more advanced arm balances or backbends. Both are so encouraging and help modify poses for all skill levels. I come out of their classes energized and empowered. Overall it's a gem for anyone looking to establish or deepen their yoga practice. I feel lucky to have discovered this oasis in my neighborhood!
