Her energy is genuine, grounding, and so positive. Sara explains each movement clearly and guides you with patience and intention. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, she makes you feel comfortable and supported. I left the class feeling stronger, lighter, and completely refreshed both physically and mentally. You can truly feel her passion for yoga and her care for every single person in the room. I'm so grateful for this experience and I can't wait for the next class. Highly recommend

Everybody seem to be in their own Zen, humble moments! For my personality, I felt like I was hyper or something because they spoke so eloquently and calmly. The class was rather full at 9:30 AM, but the yoga teacher moved her mat off to the side so she could walk in between everybody and help pose the different people in the class. A very sweet Asian lady with a beautiful French accent! Since the holidays were coming up, she said she was traveling for a wedding and it was really cute and sweet that she shared the extra information. She gave great instruction on how to hold Yoga blocks and work different muscles. Even though this was a beginner class , I felt like I learned some new things since I've been doing yoga for about 13 years now. I would love to take another class here again! There's also an amazing little coffee shop down the way they have organic coffee with pink tables out in front! You should definitely check out that coffee shop!

The studio recently closed for about 10 days to replace the floor mats. While they were closed, I went to another studio in a nearby city to do Inferno Hot Pilates. It had a much larger space. I thought it was kind of neat, but I noticed that almost everyone did not speak to the person near them. During the class no one made any noises. There was no "hooting and hollering." Even when the instructor asked how everyone was doing, no one said anything. The classes were ok at first, but by the 3rd class it became boring. There are a lot of regular yogis at Sangha. We are friendly and we talk to each other and to the new people if they want to talk. If you're new, you're encouraged to go at your own pace. You rest when you need to rest. We also "hoot & holler." There's a lot of energy in the class that makes it fun. We get energy from each other & the good music. The more yogis there are the more fun it becomes. It doesn't matter if you're what type of body shape you have. No one cares. The regular yogis also come in all shapes & sizes. We're all just trying to be healthy & have fun. The studio is clean. The instructors are always cleaning the floor mats & mirrors. There's no weird odors. You will not be lying in someone else's puddle of sweat. The owners/instructors are super friendly. This studio is very welcoming.

They take their teaching seriously, but with a lot of fun and gentleness that cater towards everyone in the class, regardless of experience and level. What really impressed me was their continuous dedication to spread the pursuit of enlightent living: calmness, positivity, and joy even in the hardest period of life. I randomly walked in the studio little less than two months ago with pretty much no experience under my belt. I was a little intimidated knowing that this studio practices "traditional Hatha" with "no heat, no background music". I was worried that my ADD mind will be bored within 10 seconds. In fact, I was introduced to yoga many times in my life and I was always so bored within 1 min I couldn't keep going. (to be continued...will keep adding to this review to share my experience with this studio. in short, it's life changing.)

Sometimes they have community building events and celebrations. The classes are on the smaller side, so if you are a bit intimidated by yoga, this is a very comfortable place to start! I may not be able to tell you exactly what a class will be like, you should just go try one for yourself! They have a great starting package, a week unlimited! That's what I started with, now I'm hooked!

Three cheers for Community Well!! This review is specifically about the lactation clinic and new…read moreparent support group on Tuesday mornings... When my son was born, I had a lot of issues with breastfeeding, including sore/cracked nipples, low milk supply (such that we had to supplement with formula), etc etc. We didn't find the nurses at Kaiser to be all that helpful and some of them even tried to tell us that "this is just how it is at the beginning." So I really thought that I just needed to buck up and power through the pain or stop breastfeeding altogether. I remember talking to my doula about this and on her recommendation, we decided to check out the group lactation clinic that Farrell Topham and Katie Howser offered at Community Well on Tuesday mornings before giving up on nursing. These two ladies changed our lives!! My son and I (and even my husband) literally became regulars at their clinic for our first few weeks postpartum. Farrell and Katie helped me troubleshoot every breastfeeding issue I had and they were able to solve every single one of them. They taught me alternate nursing positions for different situations, how to use a pump properly (that was apparently the cause of my bruised nipple and not my son!), etc etc. I'm SO proud to say that all thanks to them, my son and I are now a happy breastfeeding pair!! And even now, I still go back to the clinic every once in a while when I run into a question, such as when my son decided to stage a "bottle boycott" a few weeks ago and when I needed their advice on how to prepare for going back to work. Or when I just need a sanity check about how many ounces my son is actually drinking during a nursing session or whether he's still gaining weight, because they always have their high-resolution scale with them at the clinic. In addition to breastfeeding help, Farrell and Katie also taught us a bunch more stuff about being new parents. Farrell showed us how to use a Moby, a ring sling, and an Ergo properly and now, we LOVE wearing our baby! They also gave us lots of advice about our upcoming international trip with our three-month-old (eeek!). Thank you Farrell and Katie!!!
