I really can't say enough good things about Evolve Training Center. I've been a member for over 14 years, and now having my children train here as well makes it even more special. The culture at Evolve is truly one of a kind. From beginners to advanced students, the quality of instruction at every level is outstanding. The coaches genuinely care about their students, and the supportive, family-oriented environment is a huge part of what makes this place so special. After more than 14 years, I'm proud to still call Evolve my home and even more grateful that I now get to share it with my kids. read more

Evolve is great!! My 6 year old daughter loves it. I have seen her grow in confidence and skill. Evolve has amazing teachers who really care about the work they are doing. Additionally, the community at Evolve is also great. Evolve is very organized and structured on how they run their business. Evolve even has fun extra curricular activities which allows the kids to interact outside of training. I would highly recommend Evolve for any family who wishes to train and learn jiu jitsu and Muay Thai. read more

Our experience with Evolve Training Center has been nothing short of amazing. Since my daughter started training, I've seen such a positive change in her confidence, discipline, and self-esteem. Coach Mark has created a welcoming, supportive environment where she feels encouraged to learn and grow every step of the way. Not only is she learning valuable self-defense skills, but she's also developing confidence that carries over into her everyday life. Knowing she has the ability to protect herself while building respect, resilience, and determination gives me incredible peace of mind. The entire team genuinely cares about their students and treats everyone like family. I highly recommend Evolve Training Center to any parent looking for a place where their child can build confidence, learn practical self-defense, and be part of a positive community. Thank you, Evolve, for making such a meaningful impact on my daughter's life! read more

I've been training at Evolve Training Center for three years, and switching here was one of the best decisions I've made in my Jiu Jitsu journey. I came in as a brown belt specifically to train under Coach J Janero. His lineage through Rickson Gracie and the Ribeiro brothers resonated deeply with me since I started my journey under Kron Gracie. Making a move at that level is not easy. You do not change academies unless you are looking for something real. What I found at Evolve was next level coaching. Coach J genuinely cares about his students. He does not run a one size fits all system. He studies you. He understands how you move, where your gaps are, and how to refine your game. That level of individualized attention is rare. You feel seen, not processed. Training with J and Jane, who is also an incredible black belt and coach, has completely transformed my Jiu Jitsu. Their focus on efficiency, precision, and longevity is huge for me. I am in my 40s and I want to train into my 50s and 60s. They teach you how to push hard while staying smart. The culture is serious, technical, and supportive. If you care about growth and long term development, this is the place. read more

Totalmente recomendable. Absolutely outstanding Muay Thai class. From day one, the professionalism really stands out--everything is structured, safe, and taught with real intention. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to break techniques down in a way that's easy to understand, whether you're brand new or experienced. What truly sets this place apart is the culture. It's family-oriented, welcoming, and built on humility and respect. There's zero ego here--just people supporting each other and pushing to get better together. The coaches lead by example, creating an environment where discipline, confidence, and growth are prioritized both on and off the mats. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-tier Muay Thai training in a positive, respectful, and community-driven atmosphere. read more

Many of my friends recommended Evolve, so I signed my son up for a two-week trial. He's currently doing Taekwondo and Wrestling but wanted to explore Muay Thai. The entire process was seamless, from communication to organization. Parking is easy, with plenty of street and lot options available. Coach Mark led the class, and he's an excellent instructor with a strong fighting background. He not only teaches effective drills and techniques but also instills the mindset of a martial artist. The vibe is very family-friendly, and there's a real sense of community at the school. On our last day, I even saw a friend training in BJJ. My son loved it and plans to return! read more

In jiu jitsu class this week, while telling the kids to listen, Coach Jay scolded them: "Hey, stop talking, this isn't a woman's group!" This comment was made in front of a large group of young kids, ages 6-9, loudly enough to be heard halfway across the room. We trust the coaches of Evolve to guide our kids to build their minds and strengthen their bodies. It shouldn't have to be said that, jokingly or not, this comment was completely unnecessary and inappropriate. This is disrespectful to the parents who bring their kids to Evolve week after week, to the coaches who work under the head coaches, to the other adults who work very hard to make Evolve a great place to train. Even if it was referring to the parents who engage in too many side conversations during class, for which all parents are responsible, being openly sexist in front of these young students tells them what their coach thinks of women. This tells them, boys and girls alike, that casually denigrating women is condoned by the leader of the studio. In all their years, Coach Steve and Coach Mikey have never resorted to such asides to get the kids under control. We've always encouraged families to join Evolve because Coaches Steve and Mikey were so great with the kids. It's very disappointing that with the departure of Coach Steve, the absence of Coach Mikey, and now this, we cannot continue to wholeheartedly recommend Evolve as a reliable local family gym. Our kids do not only learn right from wrong by what they're told, they're learning right from wrong by observing the choices that the trusted adults in their lives make. They're learning by what those trusted adults *encourage*: to speak with respect - or disrespect - towards their coaches, their parents, to women in general. We hope to see the casual attitude toward sexism change before we have to leave. read more

Love my Evolve family! I've trained here for 10 years and this is the best Jiu Jitsu / Mui Thai gym there is. Coaches really focus on what you need and push you to bring out the best you! Our kids started Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai a few months ago and they've had a great experience! From the admin/desk staff to all of the instructors, everyone does an amazing job at what they do. Family friendly gym that offers high level jiujitsu and Muay Thai. There are many class times to cater to most schedules. There are many kids in the kid classes and they do a good job at making sure there is adequate coach to student ratio, so there is usually at least 5 coaches in the kids classes providing oversight and instruction. Give it a try if you're looking for a gym for yourself or your child! They have a very good two week trial to try out everything the business offers. read more

My son (5) has been coming to evolve for almost 5 months now and it is one of the best things we could have done for him. Initially, his attitude was more reserved and he was a little intimidated in the first couple sessions of the trial period, but that quickly vanished as he became comfortable with the commands, his peers and the extremely welcoming environment. I also have to say Coach Steve is absolutely the best. He has a firm but empathic tone that has a strong command over a sometimes rambunctious group of kids. There is excellent pacing as students are at different points in their development. My son goes twice a week and I love how one of those days I get to join him on the mat. Gives us time to connect as father and son (and also get to pick up some moves as well. Lol). He is building more confidence in himself and interacting with others while learning a life saving skill. I cannot recommend Evolve highly enough. My only regret is that we didn't start earlier. read more

Evolve training center is more than just a martial arts gym. They have created a community where we all are family. The coaches put in the time and effort to get to know their students on and off the mat. They give life lessons and skills to our children to become good, kind and successful members of the community. They encourage the kids to become young entrepreneurs at the night markets, help the kids build strong relationships with their teammates at the fridate events and teach them how to become future coaches and leaders to the younger generations. I'm so grateful to the Evolve team for their support in raising my children and providing a safe and fun environment for the community. read more

My son has been training with Coach Mark at Evolve for almost a year. It has been a joy seeing him express interest and progress in Muay Thai. Moreover, since he started training at Evolve, I also noticed he became more disciplined and confident in himself. Out of all the gyms I have looked into in the area, Evolve Training Center was the only one that checked off all the boxes. It is easy to locate, ample parking is available (there are several parking lots in addition to street parking) and communication is excellent! The coaches are passionate about what they do and are great with kids and adults of all ages. It is very family-friendly and I can't recommend Evolve enough to family and friends! read more

Our experience with evolve training center is great. At first I wasn't sure my kids were ready and so I went on their website, they offered a trial period for $20 so we gave it a try. The evolve training team is very understanding and checked in on us due to my daughter being sick and wasn't able to attend her classes. So I felt like they actually cared. We love coach mark because he trains the kids with humor, understanding and respect. He breaks everything down so the kids can understand. My daughter loves being in Muay Thai and is always excited for class. Evolve training has a wonderful community. The gym holds events for all the families so I thought that was awesome. Overall I recommend the gym not only for great coaches but for being the type of gym that cares for their community and commits to making sure that we feel comfortable as a family. read more

I've been attending Evolve training center for many years now. This is a great place to learn Muay Thai and BJJ for all ages. Everyone is great to train with and the coaches are very knowledgeable. Coach Mark is an excellent Muay Thai instructor with a ton of experience. He gets into the minute details of Muay Thai, the how and why. Coach J and coach Jane are some of the best BJJ instructors you will find. Super knowledgeable and technical. While coach J can be a little strict at times, he cares for all his students and deeply cares that they truly learn the art of BJJ. I've gotten to know them well over the years, and they are all a great group of people. Once you get to know them, they treat you like a member of their family. I've learned so much from all the coaches at Evolve and they always inspire me to do better.
