Unfortunately, I've had to have quite a few dental procedures done over the years: bonding, veneers, root canals and crowns (you know, the fun stuff). But with every procedure, Dr. Lee has done an AMAZING job. I have two fake front teeth where one is a veneer and one is a crown and they look incredible! If you didn't know that they were fake, you never would. Dr. Lee has matched them so perfectly in color and shape to the rest of my teeth, which is very hard to do with two different types of teeth. I can finally smile again without being self-conscious. I would recommend Dr. Lee to everyone. Not to mention, the rest of the team at Wellesley Dental is fantastic. They're all skilled, accommodating and very kind. Check them out if you're looking for a new dentist or if you feel that your current one isn't a good fit for you.

At one appointment he told me he was okay with it as long as I didn't hold him responsible for some catastrophic dental issue that might arise from my lack of X-rays, but the following appointment 6 months later, he became very aggressive and told me I could not come back unless I agreed to his X-ray requirements. So obviously I did not return. And the fact that at first he was okay with very limited X-rays and then the next appointment he wasn't and was much more aggressive... tells me it was more about the money and not really that something could go horribly and inexplicably wrong without X-rays. I always found him a bit aggressive... maybe short-man complex... but, in fairness, he was a good dentist otherwise. Good luck.

I went in for the first time on Monday, as I moved from CT and needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Tutin had such good reviews I figured I would give them a shot. I am really picky about my teeth and I am SO glad I decided to come here! I was warmly greeted by both the receptionist and the office manager when I walked in at 9am. They are both very sweet ladies. I sat down for less than 10 seconds before I was brought to the room with Emily, who was another very sweet woman. (I have never NOT had to wait at a doctor's office- so this was already a good sign for me.) She cleaned my teeth the best out of anyone who has in the past. How do I know this? My teeth were still sore 36 hours later. It wasn't a bad sore- it was one of those good sores when you know they really did a good job! Now here's where the fun comes in.. after Emily was finished, she brought in Dr. Tutin, who was extremely nice and seemed genuinely interested when asking me questions about my life as well as my past dental history (obviously). He also noticed on my chart that in a couple days I would be celebrating my birthday... and not only did I get a sweet new toothbrush.. but Dr. Tutin gave me another gift for my birthday- tickets to my favorite sports team and favorite place on this planet. WOW! He is honestly my favorite man! I have recommended his office to everyone I have come in contact with the past 2 days and I am recommending him to you! If you're looking for a new dentist in the Framingham area- this guy is your guy!!! Their office is right off of the pike and very easy to find and they are very kind, approachable, and will work hard. They also stressed to me that they will never do something that my insurance doesn't cover without running it by me first.. even if it was $0.55.. they still won't do anything without telling me. After he retired a few years back Dr. Reina Garcia took over. Typically I would shy away from a new dentist due to poor previous experiences as a kid, but I am glad I decided to give Dr. Garcia a chance. She is just as friendly, gentle and approachable. Best of all the staff (Anne, Tracie & Evelyn) never changed and are still very friendly and receptive to questions. As of this review I have been coming here for the past 6 years for my bi-annual cleanings and check- ups. During this time, I have moved further and further away but still come back here every six months because I feel comfortable which is very important to me.

Update to my previous review. -----------------------…read moreI hate to give this place a bad review because they have a great hygienist in Denise, but do not go to Dr. Khanpara if you're suffering from tooth-related pain. Last year during a routine examination, I complained that I had a minor toothache in an old crown. X-ray showed that I had a minor infection. I was sent home and didn't think anything of it. I thought it would go away on its own. Days later, I started feeling more pain, so before things got any worse, I went back to the office and saw Dr. Khanpara. I told her about my tooth pain and about the infection, and I asked her to prescribe antibiotics to make sure that the infection didn't get any worse, but she refused to do so. She just told me to take painkillers and see an endodontist. I couldn't see the endodontist for a few days because they didn't have an appointment available, but I was in so much pain the next day that I went to another dentist who took a look at my tooth, saw the infection, and the first thing she did was prescribe antibiotics. Sure enough, within a day the toothache was gone, which made the wait for the endodontist somewhat tolerable. Cut to last week when my wife had the same thing happen to her. She went to see Dr. Khanpara complaining of a toothache. They took X-rays and found that she had an infection in an old crown. My wife was in a lot of pain, but instead of prescribing pain medication or an antibiotic, she was sent home because she didn't have a fever. But my wife didn't have a fever because she had been taking Tylenol, which may have been masking the fever. Dr. Khanpara even told her that antibiotics wouldn't make any difference with the pain! My wife was in so much pain that she went to see another dentist the very next day, who again saw what was wrong and immediately prescribed antibiotics. And the same thing happened: her pain was gone the next day, and now she's ok to wait until she sees an endodontist to treat her crown. I don't know if this is company policy not to prescribe antibiotics or if this is a personal issue Dr. Khanpara has against antibiotics, but I don't think she's ever suffered from a toothache. It's either that or she lacks basic human compassion. Safe to say that we will never be going back.

I have been coming to this dental practice for approx. 20 years (all the way back from when Dr…read more Bornstein used to own the practice). Approximately 1-2 years ago they started placing very strong air fresheners in the waiting area which subsequently wafted throughout the whole practice into the examination rooms (no doors). I have sensitivity to air fresheners and fragrances (even so called "natural ones") and every time I would come in here for an appointment I would get terrible headaches, nausea, itchy nose and throat. These air fresheners are extremely toxic (just do a search on the web or go to the American Lung Association's website: www.lung.org). When I requested that the doctor remove these air fresheners from the waiting room because of my health concerns (backed up by evidence) he refused. Dr. M did offer to walk me into the office through the back entrance to the (to avoid the waiting area), but given that there are no doors on these exam rooms & the air fresheners are so strong- the smell permeated the entire practice (so it was a futile gesture). Given the above situation I was facing, I knew I was going to have to leave Dr. M's practice after 20 years and go through the hassle of finding a new dentist (the only option I had because I was continually getting sick when I came here). When I finally found another practice nearby, the new practice only wanted my most recent bitewing x-rays emailed to them (not my entire chart). When I requested that Dr. M's office email over only my most recent bitewing X-rays, they kept insisting that I pay a $25 fee. Just to send one email with a few pics attached? I felt this fee was an obvious money-grab when the only reason I'm looking for a new dentist in the first place is because Dr. M would rather have the office smell "springtime fresh" (using phony & toxic chemicals) rather than concerning himself with the health & welfare of both his employees and patients -which should be any doctors first and foremost priority. After repeated emails (3) and stressful phone calls (2), the office ultimately did email my X-rays over to the new practice. However, I was (am) very disappointed that this practice treats their patients this way after years of loyal patronage (never owing them a dime in overdue bills). Shocked really. I will now only patronize doctors who put my health first (not aesthetics & pretty smelling waiting rooms).
