What keeps us coming back to Old Navy are the toddler collectibles lines of t's like superheroes and hello kitty. At around $15 a piece, you can't go wrong! The light fleece jackets were discounted 75% off but they weren't very thick and warm. The sale signs were confusing as some of the racks had a sign on one side but nothing on the other. I brought a top I wanted to the cash to find out the price and was happy that it was 75% off. I only got a men's button up shirt for 60% off and only $14. Good deals on lots of different types of clothes, quality isn't great but you get what you pay for. The sales associates were doing their best to organize and sort the clothes but there was items misplaced and a little disorganized. It would be great if they installed price checkers so it's easy to know the prices without bringing them to the cash. The store wasn't very busy which was great and it was after 6PM which could have made a difference. Most of the cash registers were open and there was less than 8 people in front of us so it moved fast. Often the Old Navy in WEM has a line up to the back of the store when there's a sale. I completed the survey on the receipt and my next purchase I will get 15% off.

We arrived on time and once they confirmed our appointment the salesguy was very patient and personable. He also offered us free water. We probably did not need an appointment to just look at fabric and current blazer styles. Many bright/colorful options which we had trouble finding at other stores. Was quoted ~2,500 for a blazer in our chosen fabric - YIKES. Price includes full lining, if you opt out of lining you still pay full price. Our chosen fabric would take 6-8weeks (not including final fitting) but another fabric choice would have been closer to 3-5weeks. Also the fabric people take a month off in the summer - usually August he said so he said if you do not order Before August it will be a 4 week wait for them to be able to order again. Overall we did not go with a custom blazer from here, due to the price but maybe one day! The other clothing sold here is very high end = pricey. My boyfriend was very heartbroken the sweater he liked was $700 lol.

Torrid has been open for only a few days in Edmonton and so far, I'd say "So Far, So Good!"…read more Like many other Canadian Plus Size girls, I make sure I find the nearest Torrid anytime I'm south of the border. I've also shopped online when I was desperate, but between the exchange rate, extreme shipping costs, and the custom fees... you end up paying twice as much. The quality of Torrid's clothing though makes it almost worth it. So when we heard this store would be opening in December, I lost my mind! I chose to attend the grand opening of this location (The first in Edmonton) on December 10th. I was happy with the selection, though the Torrid website still holds much more than what you'll find in store. I expected the prices to be a little higher (thanks to the crappy exchange rate), but was still surprised with how high some of it was. I would put the prices on par with Addition Elle, which is a shame. But be sure to sign up for their emails and you'll get lots of deals and coupons sent to you!! The staff were absolutely fantastic while dealing with a group of excited shoppes. Honestly, they never looked stressed or overwelmed. I don't know what kind of training they go through to be able to handle that so well, but I think everyone should be made to train with them for a day before ever dealing with customers!

Part of the…read morereason I've purchased so many shoes this year is that I've worn a considerable number of shoes out lately. I get great service from Maria when I go there, and even when they have sales (that may be at other geographic locations) I don't mind searching the store for a pair of shoes that would be adequately awesome for my needs because I know that they only sell GOOD QUALITY shoes that will be mostly comfortable for my feet. While I am a woman who wears skirts and dresses more often than not, I am unlikely to wear uncomfortable footwear and Sole Experience carries so many styles of comfortable yet attractive footwear that I've had the pleasure of buying a good number of shoes here and have worn three of these pairs straight out of the store without needing to really break them in (unlike many of my purchases made elsewhere. While I do shop elsewhere for shoes on occasion, Sole Experience is the reason I look out for particular brands and styles and have a better understanding of what fits my feet best. Shoe purchases are never stress/worry free for me, but I've had more luck than not while shopping here, both for flats and for heeled shoes, including sporty styles and more fashionable shoes.
