They were the last pair but a bit scuffed from being tried on so many times I guess, so I bargained for a further discount, and they gave me 15% off, which was even better. Their prices here are usually better than decent, but look for the shoes on sale, and you'll find yourself a bargain. They've got a nice selection of women's boots too. They offer a stamp card discount for customers who stay loyal and buy shoes a lot. Warning: you may become a real shoe addict. They also have kids' shoes, a large handbag collection, and some casual women's clothing and outerwear. The shoes though, are the best part about this store.

Their huge selection can be dangerous- you'll usually find something for yourself. The sales staff was also very friendly, and never did I feel like he was watching over me and expecting me to buy the shoes. When looking for sizes, he had trouble finding the right as someone had switched the boxes, but he offered me a similar style so I could gauge the size and feel of the shoe. Well after 10 minutes he emerged from the stock room with the correct colors, and despite taking the time to look for the shoe, he still seemed very patient and courteous- something lacking in a lot of today's sales staff. She kept insisting it was her decision to decline the exchange, although the receipt clearly states store credit or exchange past 30 days. I wasn't mad until she decided to answer the phone whilst I was explaining I already knew the terms of returns and exchanges. If the area team reads this message, I strongly recommend you connect with her on how to appropriately address customer complaints and maybe let her read the back of the receipt so she knows what hill to make a stand on. Absolutely abhorrent service.

Apparently they do, and my friend and I went to the H&M in West Ed because we figured the store and selection would be better than South Common. There isn't a huge selection of plus size clothes, but there is a bit, and H&M always has nice basics and trendy pieces too. One thing I love about H&M, no matter what dress size you might be, is the accessories. There are a lot of fun jewellery, purses, scarves, etc and the prices being pretty low it's pretty easy to go overboard and buy quite a bit. Of course the prices being so low this isn't exactly high quality long lasting items, but I tend to break, lose, rip, tear, etc. any accessories I get anyway so spending $12 on a scarf that I'll eventually lose at H&M seems better than spending $100 for a high-end scarf somewhere else. Aside from clothes and accessories the other thing H&M has that I didn't realize they carried are home decor products. This section isn't as big as the regular clothing and accessory section, but there are a variety of fun home decor items you can get, from bedspreads to aprons. West Ed isn't a place I particualrly like to go to, but if I'm here I'll check out H&M again.

This is a store that sells stylish shoes for people who have developed a variety of back, leg and foot problems, i.e. us old geezers. My wife and I fall into that category plus we both have problems getting shoes that fit comfortably , especially when walking. I'm particularly hard to fit because of a leg brace that requires one shoe to be larger than another. Shoe Comfort had styles we liked and, more importantly, had the brand of shoe that had seen me through ten years of overseas and domestic trips, delivering Meals on Wheels and daily use. We found the size that fit the braced foot, so the owner worked for half an hour to put together the proper combination of inserts to make the other shoe fit. When we got home, my wife found that one pair she bought was slightly tight after walking around the house for half an hour. She returned with that pair, explained the problem and the staff went through the same routine for her to make one size fit comfortably. There was no charge for the inserts and the staff were pleasant while providing after-sales service (rare in retail). I should mention that our visit to Shoe Comfort took place during the pandemic. The store provided hand sanitizer at the door and a cheerful reminder to use it before poking around. Capacity was limited to four people and the four chairs were neatly socially distanced. As soon as a customer left, the chairs were sanitized and, as soon as we left, the owner cleaned he outside door handles. I have never seen such impressive measures, especially in a smaller store. We can't be the only people in Edmonton who have problems fitting shoes. To all the others out there like us, we found the place to go.

I was told this has never happened before but after speaking to several people in a camp of over 1000 people, I was informed this has happened to many. When speaking to manager about said situation, I was confronted with hostility and called a liar by manager (Kelly). I understand that warranty is not offered on top of warranty but I was unable to even voice my concerns with inferior product without being shamed for doing so. In saying that, I would not recommend shopping here or any Jobsite Workwear, as they sell products from 2nd and 3rd parties and refuse to take responsibility for faulty products.
